The story
I just love this series. The cast was veryyyyyyy cute and the story was extremely good.I recommend everyone to watch this. The way every character played their role was just amazing.Tinn was very supportive and was by the side of Gun everytime. There was a bit comedy too which was very entertaining and touching. I have to say that the songs were so much beautiful that I got teary eyed . Probably the best ever BL drama I've watched.Gun was a nice character in the play.He lead his music club very nicely and supported his club in every manner he couldWas this review helpful to you?
Way too vanilla for me, still a nice watch
This review isn't going to be long. I just have three things to say:1. The main actors' acting was great. This is quite impressive given that gmmtv isn't known for his magnificent casting. Their chemistry was good, their acting was on point and as a result this bl show wasn't as cringy for me as others. However, I can't say the same about the rest of the cast. If you tell me Pud and Win had any kind of chemistry, I'll assume you're joking.
2. The script is always gmmtv's weakness in bl shows, but this wasn't the case. Here it's close to a good quality one. The plot got a bit boring and cheesy at times, but I still consider My School President a step in the right direction.
3. The OST was pretty nice. I enjoyed it.
A feel-good series with decent script and acting overall. Worth a watch.

The target audience is definitely much younger than me, but I liked it.
Technical aspects of the production were fine. Overall, the acting was good, especially since the actors are all really young. Directing was fine also -- I always have an eye on how ensemble scenes are done, and I did not notice anything missing here.
There are quite a lot of songs in the series, which is appropriate, since it's about a band -- not too many (and that's coming from me, who thinks that there's too much singing in Disney movies), and all of them fitting the band's general vibe and the plot.
Regarding the plot, it is a slow burn with lots of pining, and I tend to love this trope. Yes, it's a bit ridiculous at times, and also a bit cheesy, but that makes the series so charming. Even though some more serious issues are addressed, it's never high-stakes for the audience.
A lot of the good tropes are used liberally, some are there just to be subverted (an episode at the beach, but the young people get only five minutes to actually enjoy it?) -- and there are none of the trope I hate (e.g. miscommunication because some character is lying, love triangles, traumatic childhood experiences, jealous female characters...).
I also loved that there's so much time dedicated to the bandmates' friendship and the highs and lows they go through as the school year progresses. They are all young boys who enjoy life, and are not ashamed to act silly when they feel like it.
The parents also got some character development, and enough time to show it.
There really only two very minor points that could have been better:
a) I wish there were more female roles. I know it's a BL, and BLs have to have a majority of male characters, but why not have a girl in the band? Or a female Kajorn? Or female MCs? Or a female Yak? (Though, I admit, the last one is maybe a bit more difficult.)
b) I would have liked to see a bit more story for Tinn, whose main role is to support Gun, his love interest. He does have his own insecurities, his own questions about his future -- it's all already there, just underdeveloped and glossed over.
One last thing, because I waited for it but it never came: There is absolutely none of that old and tired top/bottom-dynamic in this show! None of the boys have any characteristics that trope would demand (difference in age, status, experience, body type etc.), none of the "pushy top" and "reluctant bottom", their body language and whole demeanor are always "typical boy" and touches are very much mutual and equal in reciprocation. I hope we'll get to see more of this kind of relationship dynamic in future Thai BL shows.
(They even make fun of the trope at the end when they talk about ship names!)
So that was a very nice surprise.
All in all, the show is light-hearted and funny, even silly at times, with great friendships -- it made me smile throughout the whole series. So I recommend it as something to watch on gloomy days. Characters don't take themselves too serious, and the audience should do the same.

"Love each other"
This is the best series I've watched because I laugh so many times because they were some episodes that makes me laugh like Gun and Tinn jogging he ask Gun to exercise his voice and there are people who looked at Gun and he begins to shy because many people having weird of what he's doing and the second episode that makes me laugh is the Romeo and Juliet scene when Gun say something that it is not on the script they practice together with Tinn and others, but in the end they finally together and I love it very much and I highly reccommend this series to my friends. Was this review helpful to you?

BEST SCHOOL DRAMA EVER!!!!
This drama changed lives quite literally! This might be too dramatic lol but it's that good. It's so funny and heart-warming at the same time. I think this is the best thai drama I have ever watched. The writing, storyline, acting was all 10/10. If you're watching a cute drama with all the feels plus added comedy and unforgettable OST. Then this is the show for you! Fourth's acting never disappoints me. I couldn't get enough of Moonlight Chicken so I watched this. And I'm so happy that I did. It's soooooo good omg best thai BL ever, not even exaggerating. This show did everything so good without making anything corny, it's such a comfort drama. Just watch it you will not be disappointed. You'll fall in love with all the characters especially the main leads. Was this review helpful to you?

Not an avid fan of BL drama but the most amazing BL drama I have ever watched
Honestly, I am not an avid fan of BL dramas but my sister has been trying to get me into BL dramas. I gave 2gether a try few years back but wasn't to my liking. The only BL drama I watched and finished was 'About Youth' and it has been my favourite not until I watched MSP. Literally got hooked up after watching episode 1.If you are looking into a sweet, cute high school romance BL drama, MSP would be a perfect choice. Aside from the story plot, the acting by the casts were also perfect. I knew Fourth back then from F4 Thailand and remembered his acting chemistry with Bright in the drama (since some scenes brought me tears T_T) but he definitely improved alot in MSP. And also, the OSTs from MSP are also A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. It has been almost a week since I finished MSP but the songs are still on repeat on my Spotify. Though I am late into the drama, but not too late for the upcoming 'My Love Mixed-Up!' and 'We Are' series! :P
Though GeminiFourth acting were superb, my favourite characters still go to Satang and Winny! Loving the chemistry there.
In summary, would give MSP a 10/10 ratings.

feel good, easy to digest, actually good singers, fun and not cringey! all i want from gmm!
EP 1-3 of this whole series was probably what dragged most people over, if u love a good romcom, this is everything! i just love how ep 1 does not reveal anything til the last minute of the episode, had to admit that ep 1 is a bit slow but once u rly get the feel of the show (i.e: ep 1's plot twist or with tinn's side of the story in ep 2) it just got really good nad exciting! the story is simple and light, a good show doesnt always need a mind-blowing level of writing and plot, just some silly goofs in high school crushing and singing is enough for a lot of people! However, to me, Its a story that hasnt rly been explored esp in asian teen dramas. This story revolves around tinn that became the school president to help out his crush, the leader n vocalist of Chinzilla, depicted as losers united by music, then formed a cute little band. In usual asian dramas, romcom specifically, the guy with authority and popularity are usually the ones being sought after and crushed on, and the loser is the one yearning and begging the universe to get them close. Its nothing new, but this series however played around that trope and made the (formerly nerdy nobi-tinn) cool and popular school president, be the one oh so grossly crushing over some dummy in a band in which, for some reason nobody in the school cares abt. not only is he crushing he is INLOVE and have been pining for years... a classic 'loved by all asians' trope (we grew up watching Crazy Little Thing Called Love, iykyk). Ep 1-2 was a good introduction to the characters, and how they interact with eachother, it was exciting to get to know them, but then they gave us ep 3, the ep of yearning and pining, and that.. was the beginning fo my brainrot towards this show.
Not only that, what surprises me was how good these new generation of actors are. They hv great pacing and reactions.. they have lot of energy which fits the show very well. The chemistry between everyone was good, i believed that Chinzilla IS a group of best friends that loves music but sucks at discipline and studying. They gave everyone a character which makes them lovable and their side-stories enganging.
The music is also one of the reasons why i stuck around this show for sooo long, i just cant believe how good the actor for tinn's voice is!!! his voice is like honey to me my goodness... Then the actor for gun has the cutest voice with slight lisp, he always sounded like hes smiling which is sooo adorable. Then we have other side characters being incredible singers like Sound and Por... and can u believe how they got a musical actress to play Gun's mom? its That serious for them. thats too much talent in one series, what a show-off!(jk)... its all-round a good series with nothing but ~vibes~
Another thing, the chemistry between the leads is also very fresh and new, i dont know how to explain this.. I've watched these 2 in their other series plyaing different dynamics (moonlight chicken, ourskyy2:msp) and still their magnum opus is this one. They were perfect in this, nothing too crazy , just the right 'realistic' amount of flirtyness that a high schooler might say or do. The eye contacts arent forced or painful to watch, they truly are up for the challenge in this role! no matter how red their ears gets! (again, cute)
Overall, best GMMTV has to offer this year, personally, best amongst any romcoms they've done.
Still, i do have some nitpicks after my 500th watched, in which could be disregarded by most, but since i am a pain in the ass, i will just talk abt it hereon. Dont read if ure not interested in complaining abt the details. As i've said before, episode 1-3 of this show is so good, wrapped like a little present, with a pretty bow. The rest? are somehow lack in detailing, lets talk abt it!

Was smiling through the whole thing.
Honestly I'm kind of over high school settings since I have been out of it for so long but they got me with this one. So fun all throughout I was having genuine real life reactions to so many scenes; be it squealing, laughing, or holding my breath. I absolutely love that they took their time with the main couple and we got to see them actually interact and exist in different situations around each other. They are so cute with their little mannerisms like teasing, poking each other or just generally being adorable. Honestly one sentence to sum the up would be the rock and the star. Tinn was all throughout, never missing a beat, a rock for Gun to rely on at any given moment. He never ever failed with that and it made their story so soft.I do have to look past the very obvious product placement that made me snort and also the general slow motion zoom in stuff that is typical of BLs. Also I didn't think we needed all those side couples. They're cute but it kinda cheapened the story since they didn't get their time to develop and I personally didn't care for any of them.
I would have also liked to see Gun supporting Tinn towards the end since it was Tinn that was in a more precarious situation. The resolution was adorable, but I would have liked to see the tables turned just once.
Overall it was very youthful and I was smiling and genuinely laughing. Even the sound effects I think mostly worked, and the music was catchy. But the mina couple carried the whole show. Their chemistry was great and so natural and they're silly with each other which arguably is the most important thing!
On a personal note as well: I didn’t find myself almost at all thinking about watching anything else while watching this. I was so engrossed, this is such an easy show to binge watch on a cozy day.

SO WHOLESOME!!!
This show was so cute and wholesome, I loved the story and the chemistry between them and the others who were in a relationship, and something I adored what how supportive both parents were towards Gun and Tinn. I really recommend this show if you want to watch a soft cute BL show or if you're starting to watch BL this one’s perfect as a starter. Overall amazing show and I would love to see them both in another show together as the main couple, can't wait for "My Love Mix-Up!".Was this review helpful to you?
The cute school drama I have been looking for
Lately I have been wanting to watch a nice, lighthearted school drama and watching "My School President" definitely hit that mark for me. I felt as if the leads had a good dynamic and chemistry and I loved so many other aspects about this series especially the OST. I do not watch many shows from Thailand and from the ones I have seen, this is by far my favorite. It was super wholesome, an easy watch, the product placement in the show was done very nice compared to other series I have seen.I do feel as if this show dragged a little bit with underdeveloped side couples and plot was a little weird/unfinished.
Favorite character of the series was the school president, Tinn, played by Gemini Norawit Titicharoenrak. I loved his character and how genuine he felt to me with his actions. Seeing him made me smile a lot and I am definitely going to miss this series for him alone.

I LOVED IT!
I don’t usually write reviews/ comments on here, but this show is so amazing I cant stay quiet! I loved it so much, the healthy relationships between all characters made me so happy. The plot was a nice switch from the usual school love story, while still being wholesome. The support Tinn and Gun get from their parents and friends is such a great example. The actors slayed their roles and the music was so good. I’m not sure if the music is actually performed by the actors themselves, but it doesn’t matter. Unlike most Thai drama’s these songs aren’t corny or unlistenable, quite the opposite.A great show really, highly recommend!
