Another good mystery that suffer from bad ending
This is a pretty good, non-heavy mystery drama. It follows high schooler's perspective, so it's easier to keep up with compared to detective mysteries while still bringing up some heavy topics like bullying, etc. It's pretty easy to figure out the culprit early on if you watch lots of mystery dramas, but they still leave you guessing about the reason and even cast doubt midway.
The occasional romance moments don't disrupt the whole mystery vibe and happen quite naturally, I would say.
SPOILER
The only problem is the ending. Ok Chanmi goes from wanting to kill anyone she suspects to forgiving and talking her way with Seok Jaebeom in seconds. Worse, the dialogue makes Jaebeom seem like he is possessed by an evil spirit rather than having a double personality.
Police closing Gi Osung's case as a suicide attempt also betrayed the story. It all started with the police prematurely closing Park Woonseok's case as suicide without proper investigation, so it's back to square one.
"Gi Osung deserves that" and "Ji Sooheon deserves to live his life" aren't enough justifications. Sooheon could easily escape that one case using self-defense arguments anyway.

Not Good Enough
Korean Drama " Revenge of Others " is an action school drama. The series starts out quite intense, with the mystery's plot getting thicker and thicker. However, the drama kept additing substories, thus, losing focus from the main one who was forgotten in most of the episodes of the middle.
But the series biggest problem was the fact that they couldn't complete all those storylines or make them come together and make sense. As a result, the ending was rushed and a big let down, as many of the answers they gave were illogical and idiotic.
At least, the performances were all great by everyone in the cast.
So, overall, two out of ten.

Watch it if you really bored
Okay, first of all I think this drama is overrated and here's way. When I watched first episodes everything was fine but then progress started to going really slow.I think 12 episode is way too much for this plot.It would be fine if it's 8-9.Plot has so many issues including some of them just don't make sense.Like what's up with brain tumor and police.Yeah cops in this drama are like ghost or something like you believe they are there but can't see them.I mean the drama lacks reality.
And acting could be done so much better than this.I don't think actors/actress could show their full potential and it's because of the plot AGAIN.Like in some point you don't even understand why characters do what they do
I'm not gonna say it's waste of time but definitely not good enough.I recommend watching it with 0 expectation

Good drama, bad morals :(
The title tells it all really- it’s a story about revenge. But how do you take revenge on others? The smart way? The sophisticated way? The by-the-law way? Or just downright tie him to a chair and beat him up??! Yeah… that’s what this drama is all about.I thought it was quite violent, or the insinuation of violence was pretty strong. It really projects a poor image of the police force and the school discipline/ administration. The police didn’t believe it wasn’t a suicide; when they did, they were always one step behind the high schoolers. Hmmm.. then a boy who raped his fellow schoolmate, was allowed to come back to the same school as the girl he raped. What the???!!! It’s no wonder high school kids think they can take matters into their own hands- instead of reporting it to the office/ police.
The morals behind this story was poor, not a good way to live life. But- the drama itself is intriguing and has a good pace. Enough twists and turns to keep you interested; and it’s short only 12 episodes. PLUS you have the visuals of Park Solomon and Seo Ji Hoon :):) The character I loved to hate was Kook Ji Hyun. MAN… she was a bi*ch! Those who think they can do anything or get away with anything because they are rich.
Have a go at this one, just make sure you’re in a happy place when you watch this lol. No romance, but there’s some sweet moments between the leads where they hold hands. That’s it ;)

My issues are a little different
I have a lot of the same issues as other reviewers, so i'll only mention the ones i haven't seen covered yet. One is common sense, and by that i mean simple stuff like not always going places alone AFTER you've been attacked and threatened and have been summoned yet again to some secluded area by persons unknown. I mean stuff like NOT just strolling up to a gang of folks, led by your favorite bully, who you know aren't waiting around to have dinner with you. They hadn't seen you yet, but you just walk up like you can handle them. Um, no, you most certainly can't. And while we're talking about being attacked, i swear SK only has like two laws, three at the most. Nothing ever gets reported, no one ever gets punished (or, not for long), teachers/faculty don't care if students get their heads bashed in, teachers/faculty don't care how often students get their heads bashed in. I saw one series where a teacher was one of the ppl abusing a girl. It happens so often in all these shows that i'm having a hard time believing it's not really this bad over there. My second big issue is the lack of reality. I know, it's not real but certain elements are meant to be and rightfully so. Stay with me. My point is that these kids heal like Wolverine. I wince more after an ab workout, or tetanus shot, than these kids who literally got the shit kicked and beaten out of them or fell off a scooter or got hit in the back of the head with a damn brick. I won't apply this to the ML because he's a fighter and can take a lot more than the average kid/person, and because he knows how to get hit in a way that will minimize the damage.
Not a bad show, i was at least interested enough to care how things would get resolved, so there's that.

Crime Cases Situation are too unreasonable
It indeed doesn't make sense...Why people doesn't report the CRIME to the police...
School bullying isn't reported.
Thugs enters school isn't reported.
Culprit isn't caught by CCTV at all.
The author is too dumb.
Brake failure isn't reported too.
All of the students are too dumb, please!
But, the DEFENSE is always reported to the police...
The author makes every cases situation too unrealistic...
This is the worst drama I have watched...
============
Terlalu gak masuk akal...
Ga ada 1 pun kejahatan yg dilaporkan ke polisi.
Ya kali masak bully dilaporin.
Preman masuk sekolah jg ga dilaporin.
Pelaku kejahatan ga ada yg ketangkap CCTV sm skali.
Authornya buta coy.
Rem blong jg ga lapor
Iya kalo ini drama W (double world), masuk akal.
Plis lah.
Sekalinya memberikan perlawanan / pertahanan diri, langsung jadi kasus sekolah / polisi.
Plis dhe dikira sinetron indo apa.
Emosi cuk

Decepcionante

The series was worth watching...
The plot was entertaining and gripping with flaws but at the same time it managed the exceitement. The last 3 episodes were pathetic and inconclusive. After watching a few K-Dramas it is highly noticeable that they lack the good punchline for the ML or protagonist and it was the same in here too. The ending was trash but the series can only be finished by fast forwarding. I wouldn't recommend watching this rather it would be a hard pass. Was this review helpful to you?

Laughable Ending and a Waste Potential of a Story
A sister, excitedly on a video call with her twin brother, suddenly watches unknowingly as her brother is murdered in broad daylight--pushed from a school window and plummeting to his death. This initial hook in the first episode got me excited about the potential of the plot. I was not only empathizing with the sister, who had just experienced a severe loss and is now on the hunt to find her brother's murderer.Major Spoilers:
One of my main issues with the show is that there were so many irrelevant factors, Ji Sooheon's brain tumour becomes a useless fact that is only used as a way to make the audience sympathize with his character faster, the loss of his mother is also one I found quite random. Then we have one character who is pregnant, and once again adds no relevancy to the plot.
However I was able to accept all of these if the ending was satisfying, but instead, we get a cop-out ending with the classic case of split personality. It really felt disrespectful to the audience to have this over-used plot element as the 'climatic' ending. I felt like I wasted my time with the show, after all the build-up they also kill Ki Oh Sung in the ending, which felt so rushed and not needed.
Plus why in the world is a man with a brain tumour being hit dozens of times in the head and coming out practically unscathed each time, it was as if he was invincible and it made me not want to take the plot elements seriously. The whole show, near the second half, felt so lacklustre and rushed. Most of the 'clues' and 'evidence' we are the audience are given as basic boring ones like the murderer being left-handed and using his left foot to commit the murder.
I really had high expectations for the drama, in the first half, which is why I'm angered by how the plot ended up. It would've been better to have Jaebum not lose his memories and join Chanmi & Sooheon's group, then we as the audience get attached to Jaebum only to find out later that he is the murderer and was only using them to cover up his murder. I would rather they played into Jaebum being a pure villain, rather than a half-baked split-personality villain.
There were so many poorly written elements that made me frustrated with the show and honestly I regret watching it.

The most unethical drama I have watched!
The reason why I am giving this so low, is because of the extreme callousness towards brain tumor shown by the writers. The male lead has tumor which supposedly cannot be operated. Did the writers even do any research, for brain tumors which cannot be operated strong chemotherapy with radiation is actually the line of treatment to treat it. The prognosis with ratiation is actually quite good at 30 percent for 10 years. The tumor is actually very new (since it did not metastasis into other body parts) hence at most was stage 1 or stage 2, even then the doctor was like don’t treat it? Does that even makes sense. At no point was the lead ahead shaved and he was given targetted radiotherapy why? Also, being so active is just not possible if one has tumor, since it can expand slowly and damage the occipital lobe (eye part of the brain) and motor functions. So goodness knows what type of tumor it was.
Also the comments of the doctor was very ableist where they said that if I operate your brain you may get cerebral palsy? Seriously? We have Paralympic gold medalists like yip pin xiu who suffer from muscular dystrophy and still carry on. Which doctor will ever say I will not save your life since you may get disabled as a result of the treatment?
I got so frustrated with whatever the writers were trying to say. Tragedies upon tragedies heaped upon people and so much violence.
I actually liked the drama but for the way the brain cancer was treated was pretty unforgiving. What if a cancer patient was actually watching this drama? What is the message? Their life is over or they don’t deserve to receive treatment since they may get disabled?

It’s missing something
Plotthis drama had a a lot of potential, but it kind of missed the mark. The storyline was all over the place. you could not understand why the people killed the others and they barely touched on the main reason why brother got killed. And these high school kids where not acting like high school kids and overall the revenge fell short. And not to give out to much the revenge was mid.
characters
you could not sympathize with any of them and it’s was too far fetched and they acted so foolishly and especially the main female lead. And the bad guys just seemed to lack depth like if you are evil 😈 they should be a reason why you are like that except if you are a sociopath.
missing the mark on important issues
they take to lightly the fact that some issues where not fully explained like being GAY , sexual harassment, bullying and death 💀
overall
invite this drama a 5.5 if you are looking to watch a quick bad bad show this is for you because they are moments where you get excited but it falls down so quickly. would not recommend this for first time drama watchers
