A Pulpy Thriller That Doesn't Care About Logic
I'll admit I had a certain amount of fun watching this but in terms of quality - it's just not there. The show prioritizes melodramatic twists over logic and characters rarely have motivation for doing what they do. If you actually think about any singular "twist" on this show it falls apart.I also had issues with our female lead. She passive, reactive, and lacks skepticism entirely. She believes everything she's told at all times - even when the source is OBVIOUSLY untrustworthy. And she's TOLD a lot. She uncovers almost nothing on her own but rather the mystery unfolds as characters show up and explain things. The eventual reveals are shallow and - again - don't make a lot of sense if you think about them for more than a moment.
If you want to watch attractive people running around in a noir style show - this IS entertaining enough. But in terms of writing they weren't even really trying.

“Revenge of Others” is one of those K-dramas that keeps your heart racing from the first episode to the very last. I watched it just a week ago, but every scene still feels fresh in my mind. The story was totally unexpected — full of twists, mystery, and shocking turns. Every episode made me think, “What’s going to happen next?” and I couldn’t stop watching.At first, I thought the drama had 16 episodes, so I watched two every day, planning to finish it slowly. But suddenly, when episode 12 ended, I realized — that was it. Only 12 episodes. That moment felt so sad because I didn’t want it to end. I was completely pulled into the world of the characters.
The female lead was strong and smart, and the male lead… wow. He was not just handsome, but also had such a powerful presence. His acting felt so real — calm but full of emotion. The chemistry between the two leads wasn’t romantic like I expected, but it was something even stronger — a powerful bond built on trust, secrets, and shared pain. That kind of connection was deep and unforgettable.
The drama’s mystery and thrill were on another level. You keep guessing the truth, but the story always surprises you. Every character had a purpose. No boring moments. Just pure thrill and emotion.
If you love high school mystery, unexpected storylines, and characters who are brave, smart, and mysterious — Revenge of Others is a must-watch.

Great show but deserved a better and convincing ending.
Build-up and plot was so good but ep 11 and 12 seemed like a haphazard wrap-up to the story. Quite a few loose ends and questions that deserved to be answered. If only kdramas have endings that live up to the initial eps and story. Anyways, loved the bonding between the characters and their classmates at the end. A Game of Truth and Revenge
Revenge of Others is one of those dramas that pulls you in before you even realize how deep you've gone. What might seem at first like a typical teen mystery quickly turns into a much darker and more emotionally layered story. It’s a revenge-driven thriller set in a high school, but it doesn’t rely on cliché tropes or flat characters—every episode adds something new, something that makes it harder to stop watching.At the center of it all is Ok Chan Mi, a strong-willed and emotionally driven protagonist whose twin brother has died under mysterious circumstances. Her decision to transfer to his school and search for answers becomes the heart of the series. I appreciated how grounded and human she felt—she’s not a perfect hero, but she’s persistent, sharp, and deeply affected by grief. Her journey is full of emotional highs and lows, and it’s easy to root for her as she pieces together what happened.
The drama introduces several other key characters who each bring complexity to the story. Ji Soo Heon, for example, is someone who feels like a mystery from the start. He’s carrying a lot on his shoulders, including a serious health issue, and that influences his choices in surprising ways. His dynamic with Chan Mi adds another emotional layer to the show—there’s trust, but also distance, and you’re never quite sure how much he’s hiding.
Another important presence is Seok Jae Beom, a student with memory loss who struggles to understand his past and his place in the story. His confusion mirrors the viewer’s uncertainty, and following his journey adds suspense and tension. The way the drama slowly gives you pieces of his puzzle is really well done.
Of course, there’s also a character who seems calm and trustworthy on the surface, but gradually reveals a more calculating side. Without giving away too much, I’ll just say that this character keeps the tension alive all the way through. Their influence spreads across many of the events, and you’re constantly guessing how involved they really are.
The series also explores themes like justice, loyalty, trauma, and the blurry lines between right and wrong. No one is entirely innocent or evil, and that makes the characters feel real. Their pain, secrets, and motivations all feel believable, and as a viewer, you're drawn into their internal struggles just as much as the mystery itself.
Visually, the drama has a moody, cold atmosphere that matches the tone perfectly. The pacing is solid—there’s always something happening, but it never feels rushed. And the soundtrack adds a haunting, emotional backdrop to many of the key scenes.
The ending left me with a mix of emotions. It’s intense, a bit tragic, and also strangely satisfying. Some things are left open to interpretation, which I personally liked—it reflects how messy and complicated life (and revenge) can be.
In short, Revenge of Others surprised me. It’s not just about revenge—it’s about how people deal with loss, how far they’re willing to go for justice, and how unclear the truth can be. If you’re looking for a high school drama with depth, suspense, and emotional storytelling, I highly recommend this one. Just be ready to question everything—and everyone.

Obsessed, theorizing, and hooked — a thrilling ride with a messy ending
I dove into Revenge of Others like a detective on a mission — and wow, the show deserves all the obsessive attention I gave it. From episode 1, I was hooked: dissecting Osung’s jealousy, Sejin’s envy, Sooheon’s calculated revenge, and Jaebum’s cryptic behaviors. I analyzed hand movements, split-personality hints, hidden motives, and subtle interactions like a hawk. Every tiny clue felt meaningful, and the suspense kept me constantly theorizing.The acting was phenomenal: Lomon as Sooheon gave me chills with every calculated move, Shin Ye-eun’s Chan-mi was fierce and relentless, and Chae Sang-woo’s Osung exuded that manipulative charm that makes you both love and hate him. The cinematography, especially the Osung vs. Sooheon fight, was cinematic perfection — tense, thrilling, and beautifully executed.
However… the ending was a letdown. After all the meticulous plotting and hidden secrets, the murder and truth were mostly revealed via school gossip, which felt like a shortcut after all the suspense. Chan-mi and Jaebum on the boat with the police scene was rushed, and the graduation scene left me frustrated — why didn’t Sooheon take pictures?! These missed beats slightly undercut the otherwise incredible journey.
Even with these flaws, the series was a masterclass in layered storytelling, character psychology, and suspenseful plotting. I loved theorizing about every character and their motives, and even knowing some spoilers didn’t ruin the thrill — the twists still hit hard. This is a must-watch for anyone who enjoys teen thrillers with hidden layers, obsession, and moral ambiguity.

Amazing
This drama was just amazing. I loved the plot, the actors, the story and just everything about it. I had a feeling about the killer and I got it right but the twist was actually insane. I also love that they ended up together because they are just so cute and make such a good couple. I hate that bastard Ki Oh Sung. He's the worst person in the funking world. He is just plain villain. All the things he did brought chills to my back. He deserves the ending he got 100%. a drama about all the taboo topics!!!
This was such a refreshing show to watch! The drama discussed very delicately but at the same time very rawly different taboo topics (in Korea and well honestly all around the world) such as lgbt+ relationships, basically corruption in police system, different health concerns (mental & physical) and so much more. I personally think that this wasn't your typical revenge drama, but actually so much more than that. I really loved all the actors who played in this drama!Was this review helpful to you?

IS IT A MASTERPIECE OR WHAT?
The first time I saw this kdrama it was wonderful, they can act so well the plot is super unique and every detail is connected to another topic in a perfect way, the end will leave you speechless, you will have a thousand different suspects during each episode but in reality The culprit is the person everyone trusted. I've watched it twice and it was always worth it. I've searched everywhere for other dramas like this, but none have ever made me feel the way this one did. Chaotic search for the truth
That was one hell of a ride. I binged Revenge of Others in one day, and I still don’t know whether to be proud or emotionally drained . The mystery had me completely hooked. The constant guessing of “who’s who” and “what’s what” messed with my head in the best (and worst) ways, and I’ll admit, none of my guesses were right.That said, I have mixed feelings. The pacing is wild, thrilling but overwhelming. There’s a lot happening, and while it technically makes sense, it also kind of… doesn’t. I love psychological elements, especially anything involving DID or complex mental layers, but this one made it feel almost like a joke. I even doubted myself for a second and searched if he was possessed because that’s how chaotic it got 😂.
Still, I loved it enough to finish it in one sitting. The suspense was strong, and my curiosity refused to let me stop. It’s messy, confusing, and totally binge-worthy.
📌 Watch this if you enjoy fast-paced mystery thrillers with a sprinkle of psychological chaos and don’t mind questioning your own sanity while watching.

Revenge of Others was a solid watch—great acting, a super intriguing story, and nonstop twists that kept things exciting.Only letdown in my opinion was Jae Beom’s split personality arc, which had potential but wasn’t executed that well. So, so much potential gone to waste.
The ending was also a bit disappointing—felt like they didn’t really know what to do after the mystery was solved and just tied up loose ends quickly. Still, it was understandable and overall a good drama that keeps you hooked till the end!
