very good storyline and outstanding acting skills + longer eps (good)
This is probably one of my current favourite bl drama along with the other dramas that are currently airing at the moment. This one has more episodes than the other dramas but I actually prefer it more than short ones (short eps) just cause it is slow burn yet engaging viewers. It doesn't feel rushed and every scene is something that is memorable which makes a good build-up for each upcoming episodes. Another thing I want to mention is the amazing chemistry of both pairs in the drama. They all are very good at their roles and they are also very captivating with their outstanding acting skills. I am very attached mainly to the main characters but I always get excited whenever the 2nd pair shows up too haha. The OST is FANTASTIC-- and I mean like I really wanna compliment it but I can't come up with the right words. Overall, this bl drama is very beautifully produced and delivered. There is so much impact in this. Good job to everyone who worked on this drama. *Claps*Was this review helpful to you?
One of the best KBLs for sure!
I decided to give this a watch after seeing some super good reviews, and I was not disappointed. The story and setting is very interesting and unique, and so the BL feels like it's own thing. It's not another cafe BL, or another office or university BL. While those themes are fun, this small town vibe with a famous person hiding and being an artist and teacher really stands out. The acting is top notch and all of the main actors are very handsome. I enjoyed watching every single episode. I highly recommend this BL, so if you are wondering what to watch, prioritize this one! The length was also good to me, not too long and also not too short. I would gladly rewatch this. Like other Korean BLs, the story does feel very fantasy-like and so it is difficult to relate to the characters, but nevertheless is very entertaining. If I had to pick a weak point, I would say that the kissing scenes were one of the weaker ones in BLs. recent BLs have basically all had good kiss scenes and this one is more like a basic kdrama stiff kiss. Also, the side couple left a little more to be desired in my opinion. Overall, I think this is a BL that should be talked about more just like some of the other best ones like Blueming.

All i could say is go for it ,you are not going to regret watching it.
All in all ,the acting ,the OST ,the story line ,the sincerity in the characters were on point.there was no useless drama ,no beating around the bush ,no adultry and the best part is they made it so simple and understandable ,If you are looking for best story you are at correct place but if you are expecting intimate scene ,kissing and all don't watch this drama .
I love the chemistry between the leads and the side characters as well.
This was something new ,teaching us how much overcoming past is important , not to judge everyone on same scale ,giving yourself a chance to love again.

read my review till end if u concerned why this series mustable to watch
first of all, disclaimer im not biased, i swear im not a fan from gongchan nor seowon, im just pure a k-bl viewers n that's my honest review about this series, I could even say that series are bad if they are bad, but this? this literally a perfect KBL with good duration, good chemistry, good cinematography, good comedy, many eps+ duration, good conflict even they joined on the top rating on Korean TV beating popular dramaslast but not last STOP RAIDED THE RATING WITH UR UGLY NUSTY OPINION FCK U ALL
here u go, my BEST HONEST REVIEW FOR U ALL
guys im not kidding, this series has set up high standard for k bl.
production for this series so beautiful n high quality? i enjoyed the series scene by scene, the way they took many angle for a one scene make me sure this series has a high budget n as they should too to make k bl industry higher
i love the plot that they have so clearly for next n their have story a pottery hiding in a small town to live without fame like differently than the other bl
even the support role here is not get shadowed by the main role
their acting, i must say they're very good leading their role like they copycat 100% from manhwa, especially cha seawon's acting, for me he's the best acting on this series, he is very good at showing facial expressions in many condition
their chemistry, first of all i wanna thanks for gong chan for being happy virus for them, the way he laughs make the other actor also laughs together even actually nothing funny atp?
u can see in behind scene, they're look so friendly like a friends who have been a long rlationship, esp in live stream, im so enjoy with them even i dont understand what they said? like they're anti for being awkward, they laughs together n teasing together if a kiss or romance scene appeared??(sadly seowon can't join with them cos military service)
their ost, i dare to say all the soundtrack song they have 10/10, the melody n the instrumental very fun! literally their ost very listenable even for non viewers
their conflicts are smooth and not too heavy n ofc not making viewers upset with themselves
the service, OH GOD THEIR HUG IS MUSTABLE IN EVERY K BL I SWEAR, the way taejoon hugging wonyoung n put wy head close to his shoulder ughhh i can feels the feeling?????
their hug>>>> kiss scene entire any k bl
but for me the most thing important in kbl is how the series shows the journey of their love story with the many kind problems they must through and how they solved the problem
so i dont mind if they dont included a intimate scene or kiss scene
last but not last, the point plus for this series is a comedy comedy sprinkles, like they act with their pure personal without work demands n im enjoying the joke they have without feeling cringy
if u still concerned about this review like "baiting" i can guarantee you will regret it when this series will booming anywhere soon? byee~~

Not the best one, but for some might be one of the best.
I can't say it's amazing, but it definitely had an effect on me. The duration of the series was satisfactory. I sat calcmy and watched, not expecting the episode to end soon. The OSTs and cinematography were very enjoyable.
As for the actors, the acting of the second couple was the best, the main couple lacked something, but I still turned a blind eye to it.
As for the story, it was neither confusing nor bad in my opinion.
In my opinion, it's worth watching and nice.
It may have flaws, but it truly filled my heart with happiness. :) I'll remember it and later, if I watch it again, I won't be able to escape the nostalgia, I'm sure. I can say that I literally love them. <3

Unbelievably exceeds my expectations; such a fine execution of romance and chemistry
This has to be one of the greatest Korean BL that aired this 2023. We were blessed to have a K-BL with more than 30 mins of time duration per episode. With loveable characters that were portrayed by an amazing cast of actors. I was hooked by the visuals and their way of turning cliche storylines into something new.The cast. All four of them did a very great job of handling the emotions needed from their character. I never felt too annoyed with any of their scenes, I was consumed by their genuine acting performances. Ji Won Young (Gongchan) is the cutest K–BL main character I’ve ever seen. His voice, his looks, his actions, and his overall existence are radiating with cuteness. I am indulged by his soft and honest personality. I, myself, also wanted to meet someone like him in real life. I love the size difference between them with Yoon Tae Joon (Cha Seo Won). They both look so manly, mature, and dependable. Tae Joon is such a perfect boyfriend material one may luckily have.
Then we have the fluffy cafe owner, Dong Hee (Han Dong Woo). I am okay with seeing a whole episode dedicated to his screen time flushing his beautiful smiles and his enjoyable sight of being irritated. He is such a ray of sunshine that I wanted to badly pinch his cheeks for being that attractive. Playing as a side couple adds extra sweetness to the story. I am already a fan of Won Tae Min, playing Go Ho Tae in this drama, from his first BL role as the main character of You Make Me Dance, which is another great BL too. Seeing his energetic and gang-like character on this show was too enjoyable. I love the chemistry that both of them build and if a second season is possible, I am hoping to set their blooming relationship as the focus of the drama.
I have no negative feedback on the way they processed the flow of the story since it already managed to make me fall in love with the overall element of the show. They also had a lot of scenes that are freshly introduced to the BL series. I am getting too much sweetness seeing those romantic and exciting lovey-dovey scenes the characters have. I think the part where they can practice more is the execution of those kisses, it was already sugary but I am wanting it to be more intimate like they are eating each other while exchanging smooches.
Unintentional Love Story showcases to us that second chances in a relationship are only given to those who truly deserve them. The confrontation, argument, and reconciliation of the couples in this drama are well-written and executed which makes me too attached to my screen while watching them. I wholeheartedly enjoyed the overall impact of this BL on me as an audience. The show already established its firm foundation of the story and I demand another sequel with the same casting as I believe they can tell us more stories from them.
“Because falling for you is not part of the plan.” -WY to TJ. As I also felt the same way because I honestly not expecting myself to fall in love with this drama and the whole cast. Thank you for an amazing journey of love.

Excellent Drama!
What a Beautiful well written well done Series. This is a Korean (BL) drama that is in my opinion one of the Best so far. Kudos to All the actors for a job well done.Cha Sea Won (TJ) and Gongchan (WY) both just drew you into this drama. Making you anxiously await the seven days till the next episode. Even the secondary couple Dong Hee (Han Do Woo) and Ho Tae (Won Tae Min) was a perfect addition to this series. However they needed to have a bigger part in this drama.
To Jung Eui Soon (Director) Congratulations! Congrats in putting together such an amazing series. Even though the episodes are shorter than normal dramas the outcome was still a Beautifully Heartfelt love story. In fact it’s such a well written story that it could’ve easily been done as a full complete series with 16+ episodes. Each an hour plus long that’s how good this series is!
My only other opinion would be is in Korean BL’s actors need to have a lesson in kissing 101.
Once again Congrats to All that had a part in making this series, Great Job!
PS THIS SERIES IS ONE THAT MUST HAVE A SEASON 2, PLEASE ?

Good lead actors, but their chemistry was off
Cha Seo Won and Gong Chan (the lead couple) seem like capable actors, but their chemistry was off, like they never really clicked as a couple; they didn't feel comfortable as a gay couple. Their -- as others have called them -- dead fish kisses and robotic hugs did not help. Do Woo and Won Tae Min (the side couple) had much more electricity between them. Heck, even the hetero, couple in the last episode seemed more into each other. There are other KBL series' couples that seem so into each other (e.g., The Eighth Sense), they heat up the screen.Great OST though.
I was also bummed that they did not say the word "gay" at all (at least in the subtitles I saw).
Worth a watch? I guess, but don't expect too much zing from the lead couple.

Romance at its core
This is truly a romantic drama about love. Love that gives you that heart fluttering feeling, love that's sometimes innocent and pure, love that can be stubborn and flawed while being sincere. The drama is so befitting of the title. The love b/w TaeJoon and WonYoung was so unintentional. They weren't even each others' type but ended up slowly falling in love with each other. When they first met, I was expecting the camera to really zoom in on their facial expressions for a few seconds as they stare into each others' eyes while showing us the instant attraction they have for each other, but nope— they just bowed to each other, said hello, and continued the scene. And that really set the tone for me, because it felt like the drama was telling me "Don't worry, there's no rush, we've got time". And that we did! In 10 episodes at ~35 mins each, we got a fully fleshed out story of the unintentional love between TJ and WY; a story with depth and a realistic plot progression.
Other comments:
I love how there was no hesitancy on Taejoon's part whenever he was talking to his friends about his relationship with WY. It sounds like such a small thing but the fact that whenever TJ talked to his friends (specifically, the cafe owner and the kiln sunbae) about WY, it already appeared that, 'behind the scenes', TJ had already been talking to them about the fact that he was dating WY and getting advice from them on his relationship. Also, there was never this "Wait, what? You're dating WY? But he's a man!" type of reaction or vibe from his friends. So although it's honestly not something that we should be surprised about, it was such a noticeable thing to me because of how much of a big deal I've seen other shows make this kind of situation. I just really appreciated that TJ and WY could feel comfortable in their friend group even though they weren't out to the world.
However, in the beginning WY did have moments where he's pretty much denying that TJ and he could like each other because they're men (from the top of my memory- in ep 2 with the chin holding scene and ep 5 where they were pretty much recreating the iconic 'Ghost' scene and WY says TJ would have probably preferred if he was a girl instead. So those moments were a bit dissapointing/cliché but understandable too since WY had, up to that point, only been dating women and he assumed TJ was also the same so didn't know any different. Eventually, his language/mindset becomes more open and he wasn't hesitant to be affectionate with TJ in public so I forgave him :).
Side note - Dong Hee and Hotae. Gosh, they were so fucking cute. DH is a classic tsundere; He's all hiss and scratch but when HT hugs him or does something sweet, he gets all soft ?. I wish we got more of a conclusive ending to these two but I understand there wasn't enough time to dive into their own romance. I just hope we get a S2 or spin-off that's focused on their story line too!
Overall, I really enjoyed this drama. I know some people complained because it doesn't have intense kiss scenes, and while I truly understand those comments (bcos I also love when the actors [whether BL or non BL] go all in on their nc/kiss scenes), I personally don't think those kinds of kisses were necessary here nor did it take away from the story. I strongly feel this way because I was able to feel the love between TJ and WY in other ways. Like through their hugs! They gave each other the warmest freaking softest intense hugs. The way TJ would cradle WY's head/nape and really sink into his shoulder...Come the fuck on, how could you not feel the love? So yeah, I didn't mind the fact we didn't get intense kisses one bit.
In conclusion, it's a wonderful drama with an actual plot line that serves a pure, honest, romance story and deserves way more than the 7.8 stars I see this has rn.

NEVER STOP
They nailed it till the end. The cast was so good. I can only give good reviews to this drama since it was absolutely perfect!Great acting skills and productions. The ost and all the other soundtracks were on point with what the characters delivered. Also way to go! Be it the dramatic, romantic or fun parts of the scenes, amazing. As a viewer, I enjoyed the plot and sumerge on the story. I could empathized with them all and created a beautiful connection with the flow of their feelings as they were maturing to an stage of romance.
No regrets. This one is on the top of my fav drama of all time. This one should be a must sense for anyone who can really appreciate what’s good. Waiting for season 2.
