Disappointed. Rushed.....sorry just my opinion
Zeng Huada/TianTian plays Lin Zeyan (male lead) and Qi Ke Li plays Xia You (female lead). Sadly I cannot say I was impressed by the acting. The male lead did a much better job than the his female lead. She came off as somewhat uncomfortable/unsure in her "romantic" scenes and her overall performance seemed half hearted. The supporting cast did a good job with what they had to work with.It's a nice little love story but because it was very rushed it didn't flow. This could have been a much better drama had they not "skipped" so much of the plot. The subtitles/translations were incorrect or poorly translated.
I suppose it all comes down to personal preferences as to whether you will like/dislike this program.
It would be nice to see these actors develop and grow and hopefully we will get more projects from them in the near future.
Aside from the not-so-good-subs...
Unfortunately the subs were not that good so this may be an inaccurate review. (Plus reviews are really subjective and depends on a person's interests).This shows a sweet and funny love story but it can be improved a lot. Even though it is just a short series, the storytelling can be improved so it will make better sense for the viewers.
I like the fact that they added second leads and was also able to share their story in a natural manner. This is actually one of the good points of the show.
There are instances that the acting is half-baked specially by the FL.
Stream it or skip it? The whole series is just around 2 hours long. If you like the premise / plot of the story then you'll enjoy this one. Though there are better shows, you can stream this if you're just looking for some short romance series.
