Disappointed. Rushed.....sorry just my opinion

Zeng Huada/TianTian plays Lin Zeyan (male lead) and Qi Ke Li plays Xia You (female lead). Sadly I cannot say I was impressed by the acting. The male lead did a much better job than the his female lead. She came off as somewhat uncomfortable/unsure in her "romantic" scenes and her overall performance seemed half hearted. The supporting cast did a good job with what they had to work with.

It's a nice little love story but because it was very rushed it didn't flow. This could have been a much better drama had they not "skipped" so much of the plot. The subtitles/translations were incorrect or poorly translated.

I suppose it all comes down to personal preferences as to whether you will like/dislike this program.

It would be nice to see these actors develop and grow and hopefully we will get more projects from them in the near future.

Aside from the not-so-good-subs...

Unfortunately the subs were not that good so this may be an inaccurate review. (Plus reviews are really subjective and depends on a person's interests).

This shows a sweet and funny love story but it can be improved a lot. Even though it is just a short series, the storytelling can be improved so it will make better sense for the viewers.

I like the fact that they added second leads and was also able to share their story in a natural manner. This is actually one of the good points of the show.

There are instances that the acting is half-baked specially by the FL.

Stream it or skip it? The whole series is just around 2 hours long. If you like the premise / plot of the story then you'll enjoy this one. Though there are better shows, you can stream this if you're just looking for some short romance series.

Confusion about the whole story. Is this intentional?

What strikes me is that it seems to be the custom to invade the most private areas directly, without any announcement. Both Cheng Mu, the cook's friend, the ex, or Ling Chen, who is as saucy as a blowfly, stand without knocking in the bedroom, in the living room, simply everywhere. Is this usual in China?

Or this: The girl Orange is kidnapped, tortured and nevertheless reconciles with Ling Chen after a short bitching. He is somehow involved in the kidnapping. I didn't understand the reason for the crime. Is apparently anyway not so bad, hurts soon no more!

The usual victim number, here 5 years, for FL and ML may not be missing. To make the eye surgery possible, there is a deal with the evil rival. What do you think was her demand to Xia You? I just can't figure it out!

The ending is special crap that I didn't know could be piled so high. It's supposed to be a happy ending. For the friends involved, some of whom knew from the beginning where FL was hidden and even had a child, he should make good on his threat: they will plant trees in the desert forever. Or rather the writers?

Better than most WeTV shorts but still B-rate

I enjoyed the storyline and even the acting (although worse than a higher budget C-drama) until the final episode. I think the introduction of a kid was totally unnecessary, and frankly, these two didn't look old enough to have a five year old. I also think a five year separation was overkill, and tell me, how could his eyes still be healing after FIVE years? But that's what he said at the end. Also, if you're eyes aren't fully healed 1) why are you driving and 2) why aren't you wearing glasses? Little details like that just didn't make sense. It's clearly a 'short' C-drama, but it needed to be paced better so the ending wasn't so rushed and unsatisfactory. Yeah, they got back together, but it seemed too easy after five years, he didn't show much shock at being a daddy and he just gave her back the necklace rather than saying 'I love you, let's get married'.

The love rival apparently plays the b**** role well since she played a similar role in 'Love Starts From Marriage'. Can't miss that blonde hair.

I felt ML was rather stiff at times, but he was a better kisser than a lot of Chinese MLs. There actually looked as though there was some passion involved. His acting skills were ok, but I don't expect to see him playing ML in any high budget C-drama anytime soon. As for FL, I liked her better than a lot of these 'short' FLs because she didn't look or dress like a tramp/femme fatale. She looked ordinary with limited make-up and her hair in a messy bun. I really hate the FLs with the bright red lipstick, stiletto heels and long hair, not to mention the short shorts with a baggy suit coat. They look so trampy. Sorry - that's just the way they appear to me.

I liked Cheng Mu and wished he'd gotten the girl, but alas, he was cast in the role of SML who goes away frustrated and lonely.

It's an acceptable little drama to watch when you're bored and want something quick and easy to watch.

A Bad Filler

The story was choppy. The relationship seemed a bit toxic. The plot of blind man wasn't utilized. He could locate things very accurately. The only difficulty blindness seemed to have caused the ML is using braille. I didn't like the FL's casual attitude in the beginning. The care and effort required to take care of a blind man weren't shown. The subtitles were wrong. Though you could guess much of it. The plot had potential but wasn't given enough TLC to produce a good enough script. You can watch it without expectations as a filler while changing genres or looking for a good drama. If you want to watch a good chemistry blind ML drama, I would suggest Crush (2021).

poor production acting was okay (watch this drama but don not aspect any thing very good.)

in spite of having good story line this drama could have been more good if good actors played the role i my opinion support role actor was more talented than male lead in case of acting. the production was poor . editing was poorly done and had many problems on sound visual affect. ost was okay. the subtitle was poorly done. there were not accurate subtitles and some subtitles were missing. luckily I could understand Chinese but for those who do not understand the language they could get lost because the subtitle was so poorly done.
the story is so good if any other actor and production had taken it it would have been so good . totally disappointed.
in last ep when male lead find out the baby his was son there was no reaction on his face ....like what?????? little actors on douyin could have done it better..
