The film tells three different stories. In the first segment "Stolen Goods", a man in Hong Kong who has recently lost his job and decides to make money by stealing funeral urns and blackmailing the families into buying them back from him. In the second segment "A Word in the Palm", a fortune-teller retired from his job to study music retains the ability to see ghosts. In the third segment "Jing Zhe", when an odd client asks a curser to invoke a curse on four people, strange events start happening.
