Both of the shows have a similar dynamic. (somebody is dead). However, remnants of them is left. The whole storyline revolves around finding what happened, the mls fall in love, and the dead person leaves them. Both leave you on tears but it's a bitter-sweet ending.

If you enjoy the character dynamic and how they balance each other, would I call Restart After Come Back Home the feel-good older sibling of Eternal Yesterday.

Feeling anxious and troubled before his first major role, Shirasaki is approached by Hayama with the proposal to form a “romantic relationship for the sake of character development” until the filming concludes. Their pseudo-romantic involvement off-screen leads to a moving and beautifully crafted love story exploring the intricacies of relationships within the entertainment industry and among actors.

Both dramas are on the angsty, tearjerker side. Both also involve some tragedy and "death" that changed the trajectory of the leads.

Both the series feature at least one of the main lead who have passed away and explore the concept of void left by their departure. Choco Milk Shake has a lighter tone though.
