i got good things out of this show, none of them were related to the plot
i am weirdly grateful for this series because it was like the third thai bl i watched when i got into them about an year back, and it introduced me to Force and Book... that further made me wanna watch Only Friends and OF because my favourite show ever. also it made me crush on Ohm Tpk's character, hence pushing me a little to watch Last Twilight... and also i discovered Our Skyy 2 from this show, then watched MSP because their episodes seemed interesting... so basically this show was my big push into the thai bl fandom, even though the plot was "you cant even try to use your brain for this hot mess"Was this review helpful to you?
I would recommend to a friend
Forcebook chemistry is always good. Also the first time I've watched a boss-employee love story that didn't give me the ick because of the power dynamic. Cher truly holds his own. The plot, however, is something less than desired, it's a bit chaotic and all over the place, with some things left unfinished (the plot with Thoop specifically). I don't know if I would rewatch as a whole but I definitely would rewatch specific scenes over and over again.Was this review helpful to you?
Not worth it!
When i started this series i had a hunch that it might be master piece but it turned out to be the opposite 😭 feels like i have already watched it half of the dialogues was written badly like what was the writer thinking at that time . Waste of talent and money gmmtv needs to up their game now it's not like what it used to be it's charm is gone even tho i just started watching bls this was one of the worst one i have watched so far feels like gmmtv is in too much pressure to make a better series 💖 and ended up making a flopWas this review helpful to you?

The duality and acting
Let's break this down to a few categories.Acting
I have watched enchante before this and I would say their acting has improved by quite a bit. I think Force's acting improved more significantly and I think his portrayal of this character is well done. For Book, he is also doing a great job at portraying his funny but morally wise and supportive character. As for the side characters, I would say they as well are portraying their roles well. But this is just the second episode.
Story
Although this type of office romance is kinda common, I would say this is executed well (it is different from the typical university students au). The story touches on some important concepts even within this BL community, like talking about top and bottom, mother and father when it is absolutely unnecessary. They can be whoever they like. Thye also bring up the topic of depression would I look forward to see this develop in later episodes. This is all done with comedy infused.
Ost
Book's voice is not that bad, but I would not say the ost is one of the best, but it is certainly good (I am in a choir and learn abt singing and what not).
Screenwriting
The dialogues for Cher's lines feel like they fit him completely, and this is the same with Gun. I would like to talk about the bbq scene. I feel like the dialogue of the friends when they first met him is a bit overexaggerated but I don't know whether it is intentional.
Miscellaneous
I would say that this pacing is not bad. Even though we get the first kiss in ep 2, which from other shows usually come at about ep 5-7, I would not say it is fast paced. They both agreed to have their first kiss and might even want to be a couple at this point.
Ending note
This show is a must-watch for BL fans. Overall, it is a 8.5/10 for me. It's more of a leisure show than a serious show so expect laughs. This is definitely worth a rewatch if it remains this performance.

A Boss and a Babe is a sweet and nice series
Impressions until EPISODE 02:GMMTV has a gift, in my opinion. Their series always have a superficial synopsis and seems to have nothing to offer, but when you realize, their show becomes your most waited of the week. A boss and a babe is almost a gay version of the GL Gap the series, a romance between the Company CEO and an employee. Cher is that kind of person who has a kid purity, and that conquers Gun, the mysterious boss who scares his team with his cold and silent personality. Even with the intimidation that the boss makes the staff feels, Cher doesn't feel pressured at all and continues with his big mouth and deeply sincere comments. The dynamic between Force and Book shines in all their scenes. They perfectly fits their roles and the chemistry jumps the screen. We have a kiss already in episode 02 and the story is really passionate.

the acting is really good and has funny and will have you laughing right away.
First time review on this and that's how good this series is. I originally was waiting for the series to have all the episodes available before watching but seeing the reviews for it were good and I couldn't help myself and started watching it.I have only just finished the 2nd episode and it has drawn me right in straight away from episode 1 starting until the end of episode 2.
it's a comedy, and has its serious moments bl which is great as I like when it's funny and serious moments in it.
this is the first series i have watched the actor who plays cher in and he is absolutely brilliant, his acting is really great, he is hilarious he has me laughing alot the way he is and especially his one liners.
boss is antisocial who has taken a liking to Cher, boss is more mature and serious type but that's what makes boss and Cher fit together quite well.
I can already tell from the 2 episodes I have watched that this is a series I don't want it to finish and just keep going as I could watch Cher all the time and not get tired of it.

Esses dias eu conversei com a querida Raiana depois de ver a review dela e acabei decidindo dar uma chance pra essa série. E olha, ela é bem gostosinha e bem feita. Como eu comentei com ela quando a gente tava falando sobre Perfect 10 Liners, eu amo os exageros do Book e o jeitinho dele de atuar (mesmo quando ele pesa a mão e me dá uma leve vergonha alheia kkkkkkk). Só que tem um contraste enorme entre ele, super expressivo, e o Force, que basicamente tem duas expressões no rosto. Aí os personagens deles acabam virando uma caricatura deles mesmos toda vez. Eu gosto dos dois, de verdade, mas sempre parece a mesma coisa.A série em si tem um ritmo leve, daqueles que você coloca pra assistir sem grandes expectativas e, quando vê, já tá perto do fim. A dinâmica dos dois é divertida, tem cenas fofas, alguns momentos bem engraçados e também umas partes que claramente só existem pra encher linguiça, mas que não chegam a atrapalhar tanto. Os casais secundários também ajudam a dar uma movimentada na história, nada muito marcante, mas cumprem bem o papel de deixar tudo mais dinâmico e com uma certa fofura.
Não é uma série que muda a vida de ninguém, mas tem um charme. Sabe quando você tá precisando de algo leve, que não te faça pensar demais e só te faça passar um tempo agradável? Então, é bem isso. Eu terminei com aquele sentimento de “foi bom” e um sorrisinho no rosto. É simples, é previsível em alguns pontos, mas tem o jeitinho certo de série pra descontrair. Dá pra ver sem medo.

Passatempo...
Depois de muito caçar o que assistir, vi uma menina indicando esse BL no grupo do Telegram e resolvi dar play sem esperar nada. Apesar do tópico ser batido, é um drama gostosinho de ver, arranca risadas e faz o tempo passar. Não tinha assistido nada ainda do Force e o Book, gostei deles, o Force é lindo!Fiquei bem triste pelo arco da Thian, eu jamais perdoaria uma mãe assim. Gostei de como o Gun sempre está ao lado do Laem, o apoiando e não o pressionando para dizer suas dores.
Não tenho muito o que criticar e dizer, gostei bastante de que o BL tenha feito com que eu não me sentisse ansiosa, era isso que eu estava precisando assistir para relaxar.

Не могу сказать, что я довольна этим лакорном. Сюжет носился по кругу, какие-то персонажи то пропадают, то появляются в не понятных и не нужных моментах. Я считаю, что такой ромком, можно было сделать намного меньше - серий 8 предостаточно. Поднято много тем: и насилие в семье, проблемы с психическим здоровьем, предательство, гомофобия. Меня отталкивало, что когда были довольно серьезные и тяжелые моменты, их переводили в шутки делая сюжет наивно глупым. Персонаж Дрэйка, был сделан вообще в виде глупого ребенка, который ябедничает и визжит как избалованное детя, не по взрослому объективно решает проблемы. Хотя изначально мы его видим как умного парня, работающего над игрой, который был частью крупного бизнеса. Многие писали, что Шер раздражает. Ну да, есть моменты, когда было желание заткнуть его. лол. Особенно при нарушении границ с Ганом и разговор с мамой Гана. В остальном он очарователен, так как ведет себя естественно и остается собой. Но все-равно в нужные моменты он показывает, что он зрелый и взрослый. Понравилось как они подняли и обсудили тему ЛГБТК+ . Особенно в офисе, где ходит много жестких сплетен о шефе, его предпочтениях и связи в подчиненным. Мне понравилось как и Шер, и Джейк ставили на место много говорящих. Например о "верх" и "низ". Вы серьезно? Тогда почему ни кто не спрашивает гетеро пару о их позах? не обсуждает и не осуждает это? Почему именно в однополых парах это такая яркая тема для разговора? Смешно от людской глупости. Как я люблю говорить: не знаешь о чем поговорить, помолчи или почитай книгу. Понравилось динамика дружбы. Как и у Гана друг, так и у Шера. Об актерах. Понравилось, как друзья детства Бук и Фос выросли в актерской игре. Что они могут быть в абсолютно разных ролях. Химичили не по-детски. Майк. Видела Майка в новом для меня образе, но все равно его мимика всегда шикарна. Понравилось, что персонаж То (бывший Гана) был не раздражающий и оставил приятные ощущения от его присутствия. Затянутая история с мамой, которая только в последнем эпизоде, будет понятны ее действия. Пересматривать не буду. Но в целом лакорн понравился.Was this review helpful to you?

Sem vilões mas atuações
A boss and a babe mostrou ser uma trama bem simples de se entender, sem grandes vilões e um casal principal fofo que se tornaram o casal conforto de muitos que acompanharam semana a semana o desenrolar simples do casal.As atuações foram bem convincente porque a história não pedia por grandes atuações dramáticas, alguns episódios foram bem cansativos mas no geral foi gostosinho de acompanhar.
Force e Book entregaram um bl merecedor de todo o sucesso que eles obtiveram, colocaram todas as suas forças num bl que mostrou o relacionamento saudável de seus personagens.
