I did think there was something missing though, it’d be a spoil lol but I don’t mind it at all it is a doctor kdrama so I understand that!!!! definitely gonna rewatch!! ALSOO the male mc is a clingy cutieeeee and is so funny!!! the female lead is smart. I also like the fact it had realistic bits!! she doesn’t feel alright she goes and seek a therapist that type stuff, anyway watch ittt!!!Was this review helpful to you?

It is always good to watch dramas that explore mental health.
I enjoyed watching it, the story was a little weak but I had fun. I expected more out of this drama. The chemistry between the actors was underutilized, they made a cute couple. It was good to watch them be there for each other during the tough times, I would have liked a little more bickering that would have made things more interesting between them. But that's fine since they explored bullying and toll it can take on a person's mental health.
It was sad to see that even in fiction the bullies often get away with things.

this is a must watch!!
Anything that has Park Hyung Sik will be good! He's such a phenomenal actor. Storyline is also good. There were some parts where I felt they dragged on for a bit so I don't think this drama needed 16 episodes... maybe 14 would have been good. The 2nd leads were entertaining to watch as well. A lot of funny moments in this series. I am relieved that Park Hyung Sik's character doesn't make amends with this family at the end. I like how they left it as him still needing to heal from the past trauma rather than having everyone end up being all happy together despite what they had gone through. Was this review helpful to you?
"If there’s sadness, there will always be happiness as well."
The emotional attachment I felt for this drama and characters is beyond comprehension. I cried when they held hands for the first time...i CRIED because they HELD HANDSAt first, I was hesitant to start 'doctor slump', there were so many low and average reviews, people saying it got tiring half through the season or that the characters weren't enjoyable to follow. It's safe to say I disagree with most (if not all) of it.
For the first time, I felt what those characters were feeling, I was happy when they were happy and sad when they were sad. I cared for them the same way I care for a friend. Watching 'doctor slump' was like living through these people's lives with them, suffering but also fighting for happiness with them. My knowledge of english is not enough to express how I feel about this story. I've never felt so strongly about something in my life lol
Even though I gave it a 10 and it is definitely my favorite kdrama I've watched so far, it did have a single con, but it was easy to overlook since what I loved about it was way stronger than anything else. My only complaint is the childlike attitude these characters in there 30s have towards a relationship, which happens quite often in kdramas, but it felt exaggerated in this one (they kissed like 2 times and got shy about it even after months of dating, like bffr). With this out of the way, everything else was everything I needed it to be. I liked every single character, bad or good, they had a purpose to be there, and I didn't feel the need to skip a single second of it. I enjoyed every scene with Haneul's family and with 2FL and 2ML, and as someone who tends to find side stories too boring, i was surprised and satisfied.
The ending was also satisfying. I'm always scared to start a new kdrama and be disappointed by the last episode (business proposal, im looking at you).

Doctor Slump
I feel like this will be full of unpopular opinions so first of all I do not find Park Shin Hye's acting bad and I like her character. Park Hyung Sik was perfect in this drama and once again unpopular but I love his character here while I do not really like his role in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon which can be found weird cause his characters were similar. I like chemistry between main leads and their story also l love second leads couple. Story contains topics as trauma and depressions so maybe not for everyone but it is really a good healing type of drama. The last unpopular opinion is that it is one of my favourite drama's from 2024, I strongly believe that it is worth watching.

Rays of sunshine on a rainy day kind of drama. Little cliffhanger, but keeps one emotionally engaged
Very nice story with mostly realistic depiction of mental struggles. Quite relatable if one has been in a depression or cared for someone in a depression before. The story mostly makes sense and while the characters don't always behave rational, they do behave in ways that are relatable and human, giving the circumstances. The overall tone of the drama is still uplifting and a ray of light in the gray fog type of thing. It never gets full on tragic and bleak or sad moments are always followed by specks of hope following them. This way the story writers prevent the "phase (/feeling) of totall hopelessness and everything is bad" that often is done in such dramas as a stark contrast before a happy end, even though it is a drama about two ppl at the lowest point in their live.
I must also say that I'm a sucker for relationships that help both ppl becoming better versions of themselves and giving strength, even though new romantic relationships are a very risky thing in these types of moments in reality (the mental instability types).
Ignore the music rating. I did not really pay attantion to that, so i just put (8/10) there as a number was required.
This might end up being my new comfort drama for when i need an escape from daily life.
Definetly recommended.

THIS DRAMA IS A GOOD WARM HUG
Will always be a doctor slump defender. This drama is soo refreshing and gave me good laugh. This series is like a warm bowl of soup you would have in cold winter morning. For those who says this drama is boring, your opinion is rejected sorry not sorry. This show focuses on mental health and how the characters handle their emotions or feelings which they never considered of caring about before for the first time The way they potrayed the progress, it felt so good. There has not been one single ep ( except for 14 ) where i did not laugh. I don't think i ever laughed so much in a drama like this one before. I am never a type of person who would rewatch a series but this one? i remember i finished ep 2 after it got aired and immediately rewatched the ep because it was that good and im considering to rewatch the whole drama soon. I do agree that it got a little stretched towards the end and should've finished at 12 ep, but regardless it is still a really really amazing series. And i felt so proud towards the main characters in the end because of their progress. 10/10 for meWas this review helpful to you?
two people healing each other ?
it‘s been a while since i watched it, but boy the bad reviews - i gotta say that this got me into kdramas after a slight kdrama slump (how ironic lol😭). park shin hye‘s acting improved, thats my personal opinion. as for park hyung sik, i‘ve always loved the dramas i watched with him in it. the story is calm but interesting. Its not as eventful, but for me just the perfect amount🫶 first of all i love the tropes. academic rivals just do it for me. I love the bickering between the leads. i loved their relationship sm. their interactions😭🫶🫶the ml was too cute i simply cant with their cuteness! adressing the criticism according their alcohol consumption - yes they drank a lot. yes its not good with anti depressants, but it is a drama still. not everything is as realistic🤓☝🏼Was this review helpful to you?

Healing Isn’t Linear and This Drama Understands That
This drama feels like a deep breath you didn’t realize you were holding.Doctor Slump is gentle, honest, and quietly powerful. It doesn’t glamorize burnout or rush recovery. Instead, it sits with exhaustion, disappointment, and the identity loss that comes when high achievers finally break. And in doing so, it feels profoundly human.
Jeong Woo and Ha Neul aren’t falling from grace. They’re learning how to exist without constant excellence as their armor. Their connection grows not from sparks or chaos, but from shared stillness, mutual understanding, and the relief of not having to perform. The romance is soft, emotionally safe, and deeply comforting.
What makes the drama exceptional is its respect for mental health. Failure isn’t treated as a plot device. Rest isn’t framed as weakness. Healing is slow, awkward, and deeply personal. The story reminds you that success means very little if you’re empty inside, and that choosing yourself can be the bravest decision of all.
The pacing allows emotions to land naturally, the humor is warm rather than forced, and the love story feels like partnership rather than escape.
🌱 10/10 for compassion, emotional maturity, and a drama that whispers a truth many people desperately need to hear: it’s okay to stop, to rest, and to start again.

Who stays with you at your bottom
Right so I'm not usually fan of rom com and the reviews were making me so confused whether I should watch it or not I went in without any expectations and can't tell how fast the time went with this drama I watched it in one day it was funny it was emotional it had its momentsit also tells how life doesn't remain the same one day you have everything and the other you have nothing it's the people who not only stays with you at the the top but also when you are at the bottom same as the heroine was with the hero at his low and hero with heroine at her low and I found the leads quite funny and relatable and I barely like 2nd couples but this 2nd couple was so cute and the fight of their couple was so cute when they were drunk overall the drama is definitely a solid 9 for me don't listen to people who are saying it's bad I am not even a fan of romantic genre yet I found it so good everyone definitely give it a try also

Was this review helpful to you?
Finally 2 intelligent lead love story
My favourite love story is Japanese anime kareshi kanoshi. Two intelligent independent characters falling in love and loving lovingly, with good sense and supporting each other strongly . Hard to find such love story but Dr Slump seems to be one. Ep8 still good. Hope it end well. Skip all other dull characters and scenes. Focus on the ML&FL story is much more enjoyable. At least for me, a skip queen😂. Hope you enjoy the drama!!!!Was this review helpful to you?
