Soundtrack #2

사운드트랙#2 ‧ Drama ‧ 2023
Both dramas are set in modern urban environments (mostly Seoul) and focus on relatable adult relationships.

They explore the messiness of love, breakups, and reconciliation, rather than idealized romance.

Characters in both shows go through emotional introspection—they often reflect on past mistakes, what love means to them, and what went wrong.

Small, daily moments (like cooking, walking, sharing music) become emotional anchors in the love story.

After years of hardship, the woman breaks up with her man only for him to succeed beyond belief. When they meet again, few years later, he is living in opulence while she is still having hard time making ends meet. She starts working for him and the sparks fly! Another, cute and talented man shows interest in her and the fun love triangle ensues! The plot is exactly the same! The jobs, the length and the actors are the only difference! LOL

Both short dramas about love, they have a rich and struggling lead but swapped. They just have a similar vibe to them nothing much

It's the same about the story of young love that ends in the middle of the road and reunited when one of them has achieved their dream, while the other is still wandering.

Shibasaki Himari (27) is a cheerful and straightforward woman who works at a PR company. Despite her bright outward appearance, she has a strong sex drive, and a history of breakups caused by sexual incompatibility has left her with lingering emotional scars.

One day, as more and more of her friends get married, Himari begins to feel anxious about her own future. As usual, she vents her frustrations over drinks to H?j? Kazumi, her best friend since college and now also her coworker. Unlike Himari, Kazumi has shown no interest in finding a long-term partner and seems completely unconcerned about it. However, when Himari says she wants to meet someone she is truly compatible with, Kazumi suddenly suggests, “Why don’t you try it with me?”

Surprised by this unexpected proposal from someone who had always seemed to keep a certain distance between them, Himari is conflicted. Yet despite knowing they are best friends, the two end up crossing that line. As a result, their relationship, once built on complete honesty and friendship, begins to change.

They could always be honest with each other as friends. They thought friendship was enough. But burdened by their respective pasts, neither had been able to take the next step. Now, as they move beyond the boundaries of friendship, they find themselves caught between friendship and love in this sweet yet risky romance.

Very similar, both leads have dated each other back in college for a long time and the female lead broke up abruptly. The male lead wanted to be harsh and flaunt his success but couldn't because he didn't get over their breakup. Both female leads had personal problems which made them break up. Soft male leads in both dramas.
