loses itself too much

although I love the cast, it’s the same issue again as far as writing goes: the story sucked.

chemistry is everywhere with everyone, but when the story just never really connects, it turns into a jumbled mess of bits and parts that never really give you the full picture.

the racing ends up being a background detail in general, which I was a little saddened about. we also never really get the full story on any of the characters, not even the main ones, so that was also just incredibly disorienting when trying to come up with theories (you can read the novel, I personally have zero interest in it). most of the characters were as complex as a cotton ball, so I wish the series would’ve changed that at the very least (north and sonic genuinely deserved better). there were a lot of unnecessary parts, but with the ending this series had, I don’t think im interested in a second season here. there’s not really anything left for them to do now, but I am still really impressed with a lot of the cast. Lee in specific I am really excited to see act in more series, he has one of the best scenes in the entire series and it left a huge impression on me.

Could have been better...

I watched this series and I liked everything except the main couple, I mean Pavel playing Pit Babe was great, but I can't say that about his partner playing Charlie.... I'm sorry... poor acting, he just didn't fit sometimes I couldn't watch some scenes... The other supporting actors were very good, all of them. Apart from that the rest was fine, interesting plot, action, there was everything which should be in a good series. That's a pity, because it could have been a really good series... I hope that they found another partner for Pavel in the next series it would be good to see acting on the same level and more chemistry between the lead actors.

Do not binge this show. But give it a watch.

The show is almost like a slap in the face just in the first 10 or so minutes.




Was it a good watch? I would say it was interesting to watch, I liked it. I thought it was just gonna be about sex, money and cars and got way more than I bargained for, which isn't bad in this situation. If you like drama, romance, action and suspense I think this show is pretty okay at all those things but don't get your hopes too high.

The main couple starts off pretty early in the show so there's not much build up other than it being on thin ice for most of it. It felt like the scariest roller coaster on the planet in terms of how up and down it went every episode. The plot twists are pretty big but the story has a lot of plot holes and empty spaces with a lot of lazy world building, especially if you're not familiar with certain concepts they bring up you might get lost.

Why I say you shouldn't binge it? Because as I mentioned before, there's a lot of up and downs rapidly in every episode. I finished it in about 20-24 hours? When I was finished I felt like I was in a mental wreck of confusion and shock despite spoiling most of it because I was looking up stuff about the show and fell into rabbit hole as I was watching it (don't look up anything) . I had no time to process what I was watching and consuming I thought I was gonna pass out.

Some of the acting was a little itchy but I've see WAY worse acting, there are a lot of great acting moments that outweigh any of the bad to the point where it's unnoticeable and the people saying this is bad are crazy. This doesn't even hit the trash list it's very watchable and not unbearable like what others are trying to compare it to, plus the production was well executed and didn't feel like they cut corners just to push the show out like I've seen before.. Pavel was giving it everything, he could get an Oscar just for crying. I say you won't lose anything if you give this a watch. Just prepare to get upset at your screen and a box of tissues for when you do watch. Pause a lot and take deep breaths.

It was good, there were some details, but I enjoyed it.

When I first saw that it was omegaverse I was taken aback, but after seeing the chemistry and friendship of this 12 boys I decided to give it a try and I don't regret it.

I really loved the series but they rushed too many subplots, everything was a little over the place, the acting and chemistry saved that, even if it was resolve in some way, I wish they accounted those plots more detailed.

I wish we could've seen more of Kenta and Kim, Pete and Way, etc, they were left out.

I won't complain about CharlieBabe and AlanJeff, they ATE and did an amazing job making me love their relationships.

I watched this because of Ping, Nut wants this man to be his partner and the whole casts always teasing them. I thought that they will change the story of Pete and Way, but I was wrong. Hope that they will give Ping and Nut a bl series.

I really want to watch theast episode but there's so many spoilers so I don't to watch it anymore.

Fun ride

This was my first live-action Omegaverse, and I was very curious about how it would be portrayed. I wasn't disappointed; this drama features an interesting plot, great characters, and an exciting backdrop of car racing, family drama, and Omegaverse-related antics.


I found Charlie and Babe to have good chemistry. Their relationship showcased a whirlwind romance filled with chaos, rapid development with a slightly worrisome co-dependency, alongside a deeper, more serious connection.


The secondary couple, Alan and Jeff, completely captured my heart throughout the drama. Their slow burn, awkwardness, and yearning kept me hooked until the very end.

Way's character was an intriguing addition. I typically don't enjoy love triangles, but this one resonated with me. Way's attitude toward Babe and his relationships felt very human, even if it was ultimately quite toxic. By the end, I found myself feeling genuinely sorry for him.

Overall, I had a blast! I'm excited about season 2, although it might take me a while to get to it.

Pit Babe — A Great BL That Never Fully Embraced Its Omegaverse Identity

I genuinely enjoyed Pit Babe. It's exciting, stylish, surprisingly emotional, and supported by one of the strongest casts Change2561 has assembled for a BL. But after finishing the series, I kept coming back to one thought: if you're going to advertise the first live-action Thai Omegaverse BL, then commit to being an Omegaverse. Pit Babe introduces the concept, then spends most of its time acting as if it doesn't exist.

That's my biggest frustration because the story itself is actually very good.

The racing world immediately gives the series an identity of its own. Instead of another university romance, we're thrown into a competitive environment where ambition, rivalry, greed, and family manipulation constantly drive the plot forward. The supernatural abilities also add an interesting layer, allowing the drama to feel different from most BLs without becoming overwhelming. Even viewers unfamiliar with Omegaverse can easily follow the story because the script explains just enough without becoming overly complicated.

The problem is that this isn't really Omegaverse.

Or at least, not the Omegaverse readers have come to know.

Traditionally, Omegaverse isn't simply about Alphas, Betas and Omegas. It's about instinct, biological attraction, pheromones, heats, ruts, hierarchy, compatibility, and the conflict between natural impulses and personal choice. Those elements are what make the genre unique. Pit Babe keeps the labels but removes most of the biological and social dynamics that define them. The result feels more like a supernatural action drama borrowing Omegaverse terminology than a genuine adaptation of the genre.

I understand why.

Thailand was entering completely new territory with this series, and introducing a fully faithful Omegaverse to mainstream television would probably have been a risky decision. In that sense, Pit Babe feels like a cautious first step rather than a complete leap. I respect that choice, but I also can't help wishing the production had been bolder. If you're opening the door to an entirely new subgenre, why not fully embrace what makes it different?

The casting is where the drama truly shines.

Pavel Naret completely dominates the screen. I've always thought he has one of the strongest screen presences in Thai BL, and Pit Babe confirms it. What I particularly enjoy is that he completely challenges the visual stereotypes often associated with BL dynamics. Babe is technically the more emotionally vulnerable partner in several aspects of the relationship, yet Pavel never loses the confidence, charisma, or masculine energy that define the character. He proves that vulnerability and strength are not opposites.

Then there's Pooh Krittin.

Visually, he almost reverses the expectations audiences often have. He has the softer appearance usually associated with the more "protected" character, yet Charlie is confident, determined, and constantly takes control of situations when necessary. I actually enjoyed that reversal because it avoids reducing either character to traditional BL stereotypes. Their dynamic feels much more balanced than many viewers initially expected.

More importantly, their chemistry simply works.

This was Pooh's first major acting role, yet he never looks intimidated acting opposite Pavel. As the series progresses, you can actually see his confidence growing episode after episode. By the finale, the partnership feels completely natural. It's no surprise they quickly became one of Thailand's most successful new BL pairings.

The supporting cast also deserves recognition. Nut Supanut, Sailub Hemmawich, Pon Thanapon, Benz Atthanin and Garfield Pantach all contribute memorable performances, creating a world that feels much larger than the main romance alone. Unlike many BLs where supporting characters exist merely to fill space, Pit Babe gives several of them meaningful storylines that remain engaging throughout the season.

Visually, the production is also far more ambitious than the average BL. The racing sequences are energetic, the cinematography captures speed surprisingly well despite television budgets, and the overall production quality often feels closer to an action drama than a romantic series. Director Peter Nopachai deserves credit for successfully blending multiple genres without letting the romance disappear beneath the spectacle.

Final Thought

Pit Babe succeeds because it knows how to tell an entertaining story with memorable characters and excellent chemistry. Pavel and Pooh prove to be an inspired pairing, and the supporting cast helps create one of the strongest ensemble productions in recent Thai BL. My only real disappointment is that the series never fully embraces the Omegaverse identity it proudly advertises. As a BL, it's excellent. As an Omegaverse adaptation, it feels like it only scratches the surface of what the genre has to offer.

I felt sorry for Babe.

I really enjoyed this series, which I didn't expect. The story was interesting and the acting was good. I liked most of the characters and was engaged for most of the series. I felt very sorry for the main character, Babe, though. He was a major arrogant douche at the beginning and not very nice to Charlie. But when you get to know his character, you realize why he acted that way. Everyone lied to him. I don't think one person in his life, including Charlie, told him the truth. He was used by everyone and then was told to calm down when he got upset over yet another betrayal. Charlie was likable and towards the end you understand why he did what he did, but he was still never honest with Babe, until the end, then did something that messed Babe up for a good while, without consulting him or anything. The one thing I did AND didn't like about this series was how easily Babe forgave everyone that betrayed him. Especially Charlie and Way. I get why and I am glad it wasn't drawn out, but I also kind of wanted Charlie to beg a little and have to earn back Babe's trust. I did like how the roles were reversed in this bl. Instead the macho big guy as the top, he was the bottom and the nerd smaller guy was the top. They have great chemistry and I did enjoy seeing act against each other.
It was on the sad side as far as story line and topic, considering it had to do with child abuse, trafficking, and killing kids. So be warned.

Watched it for Pavel, ended up falling in love with Nut; overall entertaining watch

I will start with what I didn't liked :

1. My first complaint I'd why promote the other couples when we are going to have basically nothing of them in the series. I was soo invested to see the developement of other couples.. but not only there was barely anything, but we also didn't get the backstory of the characters. That Would have made the series really interesting.
2. The plot in the mid felt a bit boring; I was really uninterested in Babe and Charlie. I was really bored of Babe being disappointed in Charlie, them immediately making up and a love scene and the same thing repeating again and again.... Some of the love scenes between them could just had been edited out and gave room for the other aspects of the story.
3. Charlie's acting felt a bit weaker than the other cast, or maybe the other cast's acting was better so they just outshined him.
4. Sponsorships of toothpaste etc in the story , took most of the time and made me feel a bit disconnected somehow. (I know they are important, but there were just too many of them taking too much time)
5. The storytelling was also not the best( the Omegaverse concept was not properly introduced, it was hard to follow for someone as me who has no idea of that multiverse)
6. Shitty, ending!!! They had one chance to wrap the story up with a fantastic ending but damn !! They ruined it. They could have ended it up in a way that promotes the series for potential spin-off with other couples, but no!!! They really ended it.

What I liked:
1. Offcourse the acting, all the cast did a good job. The ones that stood out the most were Pavel and Nut. I just can't praise enough of how good their acting was. Specially, the the emotional moments. I was crying my heart out.
2. Good production value.
3. Engaging characters and new concept
4. The songs are also good.

Overall, i wouldn't say it's an excellent series. But definitely is an entertaining watch. I enjoyed the series.

into the omegaverse

I remember seeing the trailer for this and thinking, huh, a story about a wannabe racer becoming the sugar baby of his idol, that sounds fun. And Pit Babe isn't not that, exactly, but boy what a mislead! At least the show itself makes it clear within the first five minutes that this is also a) omegaverse and b) a new and exciting take on omegaverse.

I want to be critical of the plot, but having read the novel in a futile attempt to see if I could make more sense of the world-building in a format where censorship didn't force them to sidestep male pregnancy, I know that they did their best with what they had, expanding on all of the characters outside of Charlie and Babe and integrating them, especially the rest of the racing team, into the wider plot. Really, I think the pacing was off--there were a lot of scenes that dragged on too long, especially the racing since that ended up being largely incidental--and it was of course hampered by the fact that they couldn't explicitly say that the villain's evil plot was to get Babe pregnant. Just that they'd make him "have a baby." Have a baby how!! I kept yelling at the screen. Whatever, it's fine.

(It is very funny how the omegaverse stuff manifests in a medium where they can't, apparently, say anyone is an omega. Honestly, the omegaverse aspect of the novel is more a vehicle for the male pregnancy to human trafficking scheme, since very few other common omegaverse tropes appear. I do like the innovation of "special" alphas etc., both because it's funny and because it's something new. I am less sure how I feel about enigmas and them being able to impregnate alphas, mostly because it raises existentially horrifying physiological questions. Do alphas have vestigial uteri?? Do they DEVELOP one when they're with an enigma??)

As for the show itself, it is well-produced, except for the absolutely hideous opening credits sequence, and clearly made with a decent budget. They did about as well with the action scenes as you'd expect from an average tv budget, and even if the racing bored me personally, they did not skimp on those sequences. A lot of care clearly went into making this show! The sponcon is not subtle, but isn't that delightful sometimes? I think the funniest one was when Charlie was given a carton of soy milk to "build up his strength."

The acting is somewhat variable, but in general I think everyone did a decent job! Pavel had a lot on his shoulders as the main character and the main emotional anchor of the show, but he handled it well, and looked beautiful doing so. The script writers said we are going to make that beautiful man cry, and he committed. His chemistry with Pooh formed a great foundation for the main relationship and even when they were saying cringe stuff to each other I had to go aww. They really did match each other's freak.

The other actors also put in the work. Standouts to me were Garfield as Kenta, a character who is almost nonexistent in the novel, but was given depth and pathos both from the writing and the performance, and Supanut as Way, bravely playing someone trying to be a top even if I think Way would actually burst into tears if he had to top for real. Sailub and Pon as Alan and Jeff provided a much-needed dorky awkward relationship foil to the nonstop hornytown that Charlie and Babe.

On the whole, I don't know if I would recommend Pit Babe to just anyone. If you can take some nonsense and some cringe, and want to watch something that just has a lot going on, this might be for you. It's a popcorn show, the same way a Fast & Furious installment is a popcorn movie. Come for the pretty people and high production value, stay for the implied mpreg...? Extremely curious what they're going to do with season 2 since they've already finished up what's in the novel--and I'll be there, with my clown shoes and red nose on, ready to watch.
