Pit Babe

it's an okay watch

to be honest I really like this dramas characters but I feel like all the characters were in the end made to be good. They rushed in the story a lot didn't explain anything clearly to be fair they didn't even talk about the alpha and enigma storyline and how and why the people who have the special senses have the senses .... there was a lot of chemistry between( I feel like ) all the characters...
a lot ships could be made from the drama
I don't understand how they just suddenly get a happy ending like the characters the main characters got their happy ending but what happened to the children after the death of Tony is still unclear.. what happened to Kenta is unclear...
what was the reaction of the people from the outside world when the news was flash is not shown. like it would be a very big thing if someone as influential as Tony who as always been an Angel and "world most wanted husband" is proven to be an evil person who had so many bad things done to children's and had human trafficking and stuff like that going on behind the scenes like nothing was shown in the end
main characters romantic scenes and cute scenes for shown which I did like but I would want a little more knowledge about what happened afterwards.....
I do understand the that the characters just went back to their normal life and Kim got into the x hunter side and they continued there racing life but I would have like to know little bit more context about the stuff that was introduced into the story and I would have always liked the ending to have more explanation of what happened to the people and kids after the death of Tony
there are lot of plotholes in the story and at times the conflicts were very repetitive I am not talking about the reason but I'm talking about the way it the conflicts ressolved was always the same way

and bro what I hated ... I hated was the way they treated death ... at first Charlie dies even though fake death like the only one who was sad was babe babe only everyone was sad when they went to the graveyard and stuff but that's the only time they were sad that I think I was more sad than them because I was sad throughout the whole episode and they were sad for a few minutes and done I understand that babes don't only one who will be depressed because the person he loved died but everyone else also like Charlie so why were they as sad as babe or at least half as sad as babe I don't understand but then comes the real death of way not fake REAL death bruh I was so shocked so sad I thought maybe is not dead you know I don't understand how but again they was sad I'm not saying they were in sad they were sad only when they were putting flowers on the graveyard ... Babe and surely were walking out of the graveyard and they were talking about some random shit about eating food of Something like that bro your best friend of 10 years died and that's your reaction that's how sad you are uff

the fake death scene I know that they did it for a reason but what was the reason bro like you really thought that a fake death would make everything better it doesn't make sense and in the end how they was like very forgiving of Charlie for doing a fake death scene and not telling anyone about it like wth he just accepted him that second he saw Charlie no questions asked done ( I know that babe asked why did you do it and stuff but still)


this is something I am still mad about but Jeff can see the future and j knew that WAY would die but he kept quite about it like really
EVERYONE HAD A HAPPY ENDING BUT WAY and that makes me very sad

the acting of the actors in this drama was phenomenal I love it....
I just hope that the actors could get a better story in which everything is explained and even if the episodes are bit longer it would be okay but the context should be given like I still don't understand what they really meant by Alpha and enigma I had to research about it after I finished the drama to understand it so yeah
I hope they improve their writing but I really would be okay with recommending this drama

amazing production value and acting but the script makes no sense

i feel like my title is pretty self explanatory. the acting and overall production of this show is amazing which honestly speaking isn't something you commonly see with bl's to this extent. i think kinnporsche really was produced on another level which in turn made a lot of bls step up their production as well seeing the success it got, and it seems to be working. it's quite a slow show in my opinion so it can be hard to get fully hooked into right away but it eventually happens. i think the middle episodes is where my frustrations really came to be. the villains make no sense which then makes you realize the plot as a whole makes no sense. it just felt a bit repetitive and redundant for me personally and by the end i was fully watching in x2. i actually don't think this show is too sexual and i was pretty fine with the amount it did have, i just have concerns with season 2 bringing tony back.

SPEEDY CARS AND STEAMY SCENES

I’m not really into sports, especially racing, but I saw some good reviews about this series on YouTube so I thought, why not give it a try? Honestly, it was a bit boring at first, the opening scene was all about racing and I almost tuned out. But wow, I did not expect it to get so exciting a few episodes in. Every time there’s a race, my heart’s racing too literally haha.

And it’s not just about racing either. There are a lot of steamy scenes that definitely keep things interesting. When Babe and Charlie first showed up, I wasn’t really feeling it. Charlie seemed a little shady and there was no spark for me. But as the story went on, their chemistry totally grew on me.

As for Babe and Way’s storyline... man, I feel bad for Way. Like, it’s been 10 years and he still hasn’t confessed? That part felt kinda unrealistic, but hey, it made the drama more intense.

Overall, I ended up really enjoying the series. It surprised me in the best way.

A series that lacks finesse

It starts with stories about rally cars. There are big cars, espionage and mysteries. In short, it gets off to a pretty good start.

But all of a sudden, this omegaverse story takes over. First of all, not everyone is familiar with it. Some explanation would have been appreciated. The problem is that the story becomes chaotic: there's a permanent lack of coherence, the dialogue is poor and our car races come and go without us really understanding how. Theoretically, there are a lot of theatrical coups, but they're so predictable that they're not. The last episode is absolutely grotesque.

The acting gets worse and worse as the series scatters off in all directions.

The innumerable sex scenes and permanent good morals are not enough to save this series.

This story is a mess, but well acted.

There are definitely spoilers below.

These are my initial thoughts immediately after watching. I really wanted to like this, and by all rights I should have. The car and racing theme along with BL is right up my alley and an area of life I am familiar with. However for me it was one of those series you watch jut to finish, rather than keeping my undivided interest. It wasn't great, nor terrible, but something in-between. Normally if I like something, I can finish a series like this in 3-4 days. This series dragged on for a couple weeks, and I was even home sick for a couple of those days.

This story is a mess of themes, none of which seem to be explored in very much depth, nor are some of them explained how or why. There is BL, supernatural powers, action, child trafficking, racing, mystery, sex encounters, and more. The supernatural powers bit is quite odd, they only use or mention them a couple times throughout the series, but apparently those powers make Babe a winning racer? And Tony the child trafficker somehow finds and sells these special children somehow? And Tony never is suspected of selling all these adopted children? There isn't a child welfare system in Thailand to know where these kids are? Then there was some mention of experimental drugs or something helping these powers?

The actors were great, they brought this 3.0 story up to something watchable. This was the first major production for some of these actors, and you really couldn't tell. They must have had some good coaching and lots of practice, besides being good actors. I hope to see them in future series.

The characters, in my opinion, were all very one-dimensional or maybe said another way they didn't have much depth. Either way, some of the characters were just there more so then they added to the storyline. North and Sonic were a good example of this, they were apparently amateur racers, but they never raced even once. Dean was sort of the same, there but didn't add much to the story. His character could have been eliminated and the plot point done a different way.

There were weird things like Alan supposedly being so much older than Jeff, when they are only two years apart in real life. The "kid" and "uncle" thing was a bit cringe. You could tell that they were both about the same age. And how about Way having supernatural powers and nobody including his only and close friend Babe knew that fact for years upon years? Add that to the pile of odd things in this series. Also, I know this is BL series, but never in my life have I seen so many gay guys and gay couples in car racing and especially not on one team. Not trying to come across as bigoted here, quite the opposite, I am gay myself. I am not saying it couldn't happen, but it sure isn't realistic from my life experiences. Of course if that idea was deleted then we wouldn't have a BL series like this.

I am not sure what would have helped this series, but maybe cutting it down a couple characters would be a good start. Maybe shorten it by a couple episodes. There are so many series that need the extra time, but this feels like it drags. I think they also need to focus on a couple of main themes instead of throwing everything at the wall and seeing what sticks.

Um bl pra fanfiqueiras safadas

Gente licença, meu momento chegou! Um bl CHEIO de romance, muitas cenas hots e algumas cenas legais de ação (queria mais), não gosto muito desse universo ABO, mas eu suportei ver pq amo o ator que fez o Babe, ele é incrível, atua demais e é lindo ainn. O trama é bastante interessante e tem MUITO plot twits (alguns previsíveis mas ok rs) Eu simplesmente amei a dinâmica dos casais, a química deles meudeus 🥵 Oq me deixou mais assim 😤 foram as tolices do Babe, ok que ele está machucado e é traumatizado, mas pqp ele é muito red flag, tava quase virando um dark romance, e o Charlie coitado, aceita qualquer coisa, achei que faltou profundidade no personagem dele. O casal secundário é uma fofura, e muito sexy 🥵 esse tio aí ainnnn, pena que deixaram o desenvolvimento deles lá pros últimos episódios da série. Tudo bem que a série precisa ser patrocinada, mas misericórdia, ja tava enchendo o saco essas cenas bobas de 10sec pra fazer um anuncio das marcas KAKKAKAKKAKKA fora esses pequenos detalhes, vale a pena ver, deem uma chance!!

Muito boa de assistir, mas com seus pontos negativos.

Acompanhei desde de o lançamento e foi muuuito bom e divertido de acompanhar! É um bl bom de assistir, apesar de ter alguns pontos negativos.

A série é adaptação de uma novel, mas não diria q é uma adaptação perfeita. A história em si é muito boa e diferente do comum, aborda assuntos importantes e que (apesar de ser de um jeito adaptado para o universo da novel) dificilmente vejo sendo abordado no mundo dos doramas. Contudo, achei que a história foi muito corrida (principalmente o ultimo ep), e acabou deixando muitas pontas soltas. Foi pouco explorada e abordada superficialmente.

Os casais são todos lindos e fofos, gostei bastante deles. O Pavel e o Pooh tem uma química ótima, ficam muito bem juntos.
Gostei bastante do tema de corrida, achei que foi apresentado de uma forma bem legal (as corridas por exemplo) e que os atores encaixaram perfeitamente nesse tema.
Apesar de não ter achado a atuação de todos perfeitas, os atores são todos lindos, queridos e maravilhosos, peguei um carinho por eles.

Bom, é um bl que não achei incrível e perfeito, mas que mesmo com seus pontos negativos, é bem legal de assistir.

Esperando pela sequência

Aquela série que você não espera nada e que te surpreende.

Para começar ela está mal classificava pois também se encaixa no tema fantasia, pois o enredo gira em torno das pessoas com habilidades especiais.

A série é intensa do início ao fim, não se perde no roteiro, não se perde em flashbacks e nem em dramas desnecessários para preencher tempo de episódio. O elenco foi tão bem escalado que eu nem acredito que é o Pavel no papel do Babe (vamos comparar o Pavel em Melodia do Café e aqui em Pit Babe). E as cenas dramáticas mais intensas estão tão bem feitas que a gente chora junto com o Babe.

É claro que nem tudo é perfeito e existem cenas que podiam ter sido melhor elaboradas. A atuação do Pooh em alguns momentos me deixou na expectativa pq ele fica só parado a olhar intensamente para o Babe e eu fiquei sem saber se ele não conseguiu desenvolver bem o momento ou se foi falta de falas no roteiro, mas isso não compromete a série em geral.
Também acho que faltou completar o final com o destino das crianças a serem vendidas, mas isso provavelmente ficou para a temporada 2 que estreou em maio desse ano.

Imperfect, but full of heart

This was a long ride. Honestly, I don't know what I was expecting from Pit Babe, but a human trafficking/car racing/omegaverse storyline surely wasn't. It's not a perfect show. It has a lot of inconsistencies and silly things, but it's undeniably charming and interesting. I, a person who didn't even like omegaverse much, was intrigued by the world setting.

The characters are wonderful and compelling. I fell in love with all of them. For their stories, their experiences, their personalities, etc. Even the main antagonist enchanted me (although for other reasons/he is a very convincing villain).

Anyway, Is Pit Babe perfect? No, but it's very charming.

babe deserves the world

it was good (technically), but i didn't love it. the acting WAS good. i just didn't have a good time. my boy Babe deserves better (i got really attached to him because he's perfect and Pavel is an amazing actor) but he can have Charlie if that's what he really wants. i guess. the fact that it's ABO is so funny to me, like...the sniffing takes me tf out every time. like? don't include it, or commit to it 100%, please. i would rather Way have died in a horrific fire that exposes him for the monster that he is, rather than a blaze of glory making him out to be some sort of hero. but...i was not put in charge here.
