A good second season

This sequel to 'No. 1 For You' was indeed a good follow-up. We got to learn more abput Zhou Shu Yi and Gao Shi De and what happened during the five years they were apart.

Story-9/10
Zhou Shu Yi and Gao Shi De have been separated for over five years. The reason behnd this was because Gao Shi De wanted to prove himself to Zhou Shu Yi's dad that he was suitable for his son. So he agreed to not only stay away from Zhou Shu Yi but to also make a name for himself so that he would be seen suitable for Zhou. What here that irked me was the lack of communication between these two as Gao cannot tell Zhou abot the deal he had with Zhou's dad as well as Zhou went to the states, saw Gao with someone and automatically thought that he was cheating on him. However, they were able to overcome this and get back together.

We were also introduced to the unique couple of Yu Zhen Xuan and Pei Shou Yi. Both men are not perfect and they had me routing for them. Shi Zhu Yu and Liu Bing Wei we were introduced in the first season. We saw them getting close and now in the second season, they are dating and living together. By the end of the second season, they are engaged.

Acting-10/10
I loved everyone's acting, especially the actors who played Yu Zhen Xuan and Pei Shou Yi. Thier characters were just...awesome. Ih ope to see more of them, if not as these characters, in other dramas.

Music-9.5/10
The music was beautiful. And when they even played the theme song from the first season in the last episode...that got to me.

Rewatch Valu- 9/10
I liked this series. I see myself watching it again in the future. It may have a few small flaws (like the flow of the storyline that they show as special scenes and not in the series itself, causing me to feel like if I am missing something cause I didn't see it). Otherwise than that, it was a good series.

Overall-9.5/10
This was indeed a good follow-up to season one. This may have a few small flaws, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. I will recommend it to other viewers.

Don't Miss Out and Watch!

The second season focuses more on character developments for everyone and fleshes out the side characters more than season one which makes sense because S1 was setting up the characters, setting, etc. Although S2 revolves around a misunderstanding as the driving force of the plot and miscommunication, it can be frustrating and confusing BUT please bear with it and don't hate it! It's explained along the way and if you can push through some cringy lines Shu Yi says, it's worth it!

Bonus:
When you reach episode 4 (time stamp is 25:57), click on this Youtube video and continue!
[[ https://youtu.be/Oum7pXW4OoA ]] <----- this was the deleted scene which was supposed to follow after, but it did not make it to the cut because of the limited time. It shows Gao Shi De explaining and reassuring Shu Yi about the misunderstanding more, but even if you don't watch it, the story flows well so don't worry!

A decent continuation

Imo this wasn’t nearly as good as the first. Maybe its just me but the former school doc relationship story did catch my interest at all. Maybe of the lack of chemistry??? But of course our mains were great. I love them so much, though i didnt like one scene that was in the show because afterwards the show didnt bring attention to the issue. Their story shouldnt be done as well since some questions are still left unanswered…?? Overall the story was just meh to me but loved seeing zhou and gao again. Yu and Sam once again had AMAZING acting. I would recommend just to continue the story from the first but keep expectations in check

Love! Love!

I’ve seen mixed reviews on this but I just have to say I have been waiting for this show to finishing airing so I can binge it and it was worth the wait. I thought that the actors for the show did a phenomenal job. They conveyed there emotions very well and there was no awkwardness at all. I could feel there sadness, angry and love for one another through the screen.

This drama can easily be my favorite BL, the chemistry between the characters...the sexual tension...the butterflies...everything is off the charts. I wanted it to continue forever but I loved how it ended for now, Shu Yi returned to his playful funny self and Shi De finally being allowed to be carefree because he has some to walk side by side with. I mean just watch the show and tell me if you fell in love with everything and everyone or not. If not then I do not have any words for you

My DeYi heart is rejoicing!!!!

both the season 1 and season (WBL and Fighting Mr. 2nd) helped me get through every week. I don't know how to get back to my life before WBL and FM2 happened. This series is like a reward for me every Friday, after those activities and works at school, this became my paradise and it ended now, so I'm trying to get my life back to normal again lol.
It may not be the best to some people but we all have different preferences. All we gotta do is to respect each other's opinion and all is good.

Give the series and the actors lots of love! :'>

(I think all of us deserves a season 3, please give it to us lol T_T)

A New Fav

This drama was AMAZING! I loved the different perspectives the writer brings for each character and how everyone feels flawed and lived in not just characters on paper.

The writer brought a fresh perspective to romance and got into the messiness that happens within real young relationships ships.

I could relate to with the Shu Yi’s anger at being being ghosted with no explanation. It does makes you a bit crazy especially when you loved that person. I also relate to Shi de’s need to protect his loved ones even at the cost of his own happiness.

The acting was Amazing . The chemistry between the the whole cast was so good! I enjoyed the highs and lows of the emotions with the characters. They are all flawed and that’s okay! Love is not perfection! It’s messy, bitter and sweet!

I would definitely rewatch this drama. The music was great! I really enjoyed it. I would recommend for the ppl reading the reviews to watch this drama for yourself!

More Than One Story

This is a continuation of We Best Love No. 1 but yet it presents a unique and different approach to love. It is not as powerful as the first series but it helps cement what did happen in the first. However, there are some interesting twists and turns for other supporting staff that are simply brilliant. Honestly, that is way more intriguing to watch especially since it deals with individuals who definitely dance to the beat of a different drummer. That part is superb.

Third Couple Syndrome

I began the second installment with high hopes! The first one was really good, so the second one will be really good too! Right? Meh...
I mean it wasn’t horrible. The first few episodes I was vibin’. The main cast is very good and I love the music as always, but it was just really boring. The main couple’s conflict could have easily been solved or at least given more gravity if they would communicate, but of course they didn’t. And then the second couple...they were a mess that really just needed their own show. I always felt really awkward whenever I watched their scenes, since I feel that the show didn’t handle the mental health thing very well. By the time I got to the middle of the show, I was just skipping to find scenes with Zhe Yu and Bing Wei. They were the saving grace for me, as I just find them to be adorable. I’d watch a show about them and think that if they were given more screen time I would have enjoyed this way more. And why doesn’t anyone ever talk about how attractive Richard Lee is? Like for real! They better get more screen time if there is a third installment.

I love the kiss in Episode 2

I only registered an account on this website of mydramalist after seeing the series of Fighting No. 2nd. That means how much I love this series. I’ve seen a lot of boy’s love series before. But only this series made me register an account on this website.

I’ve seen Episode 2 hundreds of times. The kiss of Sam Lin for Yu is very natural. Sam Lin must drink a bit before for the scene. The way he threw the bag was completely decisive. I love the scenes of in that most. The actions and also the music made the scene wonderful.

The raw emotion made it so worth it

Overall if I were to compare it to the first season it's not as good. The main reason for that is the miscommunication trope. It was soo convoluted and unnecessarily antagonistic. I understand the purpose of it, but the way we got from "you did this" to "oh, so that was the reason?" (or multiple reasons in this case) seemed a bit too much for me.
Apart from that, once again the main actors did a splendid job portraying their characters. I really don't mind the miscommunication trope that much, cause the raw emotion the characters experienced because of it was worth it. Zhou Shu Yi's feelings were right there on display throughout the whole show and I loved it. That in contrast to Gao Shi De's surface level composure just hits you right in the feels.

the only needed season 2 I have seen

Loved it. I am going to average it and then see what the overall rating is. The average was 9.083 stars out of 10, so I rounded it down to 9 stars out of 10. The acting in this was just as good as the first one. If not even better. I am going to talk about characters and then look at my episode reviews and write about that, because there's only so much I can actually write and there are word minimums for these reviews. Okay, let's start.

Starting off with our baes, Zhou shu yi and gao shi de. So much went down with these two, with their fucking plot twist after plot twist. They pulled through in the end, though. It was a misunderstanding. There was a huge misunderstanding that they never ended up talking out because Shu Yi's dad is a lonely fucking liar who has issues with love. Putting myself in both of their shoes, I would feel betrayed by the other and not know what actually happened. Everyone hated Gao Shi De because of a miscommunication that was never clarified. The baby wasn't his; it was his literal half brother. Ate with that one genius. Gao shi de and Shu yi's dad unintentionally made a villain with the shit that went down. I'm glad they pulled through. Fuck Shu Yi's goofy ass dad.

Then we got my baes, Shi Zhe Yu and Liu Bing Wei. I love them and their shit. Zhe Yu's visuals are crazy; he is so good-looking, and I actually don't know why. It's the way his face sits; it's just so interesting; I love it. They were cute, but also one of the main reasons that Gao Shi De got so much hate from Shu Yi: they were fueling that shit. Oh my god, with their comments and actions, they were making that hate grow bigger and bigger by the day. I'm glad they had their super mega happy ending at the end; I love that for them. Actually, I didn't even know they were together.

Yu Zhen Xuan and Pei Shou Yi Yu Zhen Xuan was my favorite character. (I am going to copy and paste his name because I am going to be saying it a lot.) First, the actor did an amazing job. He displayed the character very well, and I could just feel the emotion through the screen. Yu Zhen Xuan is such a cutie, and I love him. The way he acts and just is is relatable, and I love him. He had a list of mental illnesses, and I want more background on that. Hopefully that special episode will tell me more about it, lol. I will watch that tomorrow because it's late. I love him so much. Pei Shou Yi, the problem cousin who doesn't feel emotions He started feeling them at the end with Yu Zhen Xuan, which is good character development. He was also really relatable for some reason. The way he acted and his demeanor I love these two so much.

Fuck Shu Yi's father; I hate him. There's not a whole lot more to say about him, lol. I just hate him, and he needs to back his lonely ass up.

In the first episode, I found my love for Yu Zhen Xuan, saying, "I don't know the guy's name, but the guy who is a little strange and sits in his chair like he's a child is very cute." So real me 11 hours ago. I was really interested in what was going to happen because of all the plot twists and gray areas. It kept me really hooked, and I loved it.

The second episode had the iconic scene that we have all seen for sure. I actually had no idea it was them until a YouTube short yesterday told me about it. And the whole promise thing got leaked, and I was so confused, and I was already suspecting the dad, which I was right about for once with this show.

Then the third episode I continue to go on about Yu Zhen Xuan, saying, "I love whatever the weird dude is. He is so cute." So true, I said 10 hours ago, I love him too. There were many suggestions back to back, and this show was flipping me right on my head after making me think I was right.

Then, in the next few episodes, they got their shit together, and we got more information on all our characters while still leaving some gray areas. We got a super mega happy ending for Zhe Yu and Bing Wei and sort of everyone else. Good for them. This was good—just as good as season 1, actually. That's my hot take. I would recommend it. I am sleeping now. Okay bye!
