Kiichiro Ota has recently begun work at an advertising agency. He is then forced to participate in the world's biggest TV Advertising Festival as a judge. There's parties held there every night and Kiichiro is paired with Hikari Ota, who shares the same family name, to act like husband and wife there.

At the festival, Kiichiro learns that if he doesn't allow the CM from his agency to win the grand prize then he will be fired. Directors from all over the world are gathered at the festival and the judges work within a hotel that is completely closed off. The directors scheme and bargain to make their agency win the grand prize.

Rival Japanese judges appear in front of Kiichiro.

I love the commercial and CM making world so naturally when a film about CM Awards is made; I am in love! It's especially awesome that it's set abroad! Japanese films set outside of Japan always have a certain charm to them I think. The English pronunciation was pretty darn good also! The acting was solid and the story (being about CMs) was something I personally really enjoyed.

Have to say that after watching the morose and meandering Kitagawa Keiko/Fukada Kyoko psychological thriller “Roommate,” the other week, I’ve been dying to see Keiko in a more fun role, and here we have her in the wacky comedy “Judge!” along with Satoshi Tsumabuki as two CM agency employees playing husband and wife while attending the prestigious Santa Monica CM Grand Prix in America.

“Judge!” is clearly Satoshi Tsumabuki’s movie and Keiko has an admittedly lesser role in it, but every scene she’s in, she just lights up with that sassy energy of hers! Whenever a scene would play, I’d find myself delightfully rewinding her parts over and over- Man, I do love this girl so much! A good, fun movie to watch over the weekend!
