OMG This is AWESOME!!
At first, I didn't have high expectations because I just wanted to see how the 'Omegaverse' genre would be presented. But after watching the first episode of this drama, I was really surprised by how the actors really immersed themselves in their roles and felt so natural. I was really surprised because I thought it would be just like other 'Omegaverse' dramas, but it turned out to be truly amazing.In 'Desire,' the acting, interactions, atmosphere, locations, and filming were all really impressive. I say this because I'm currently watching another "Omegaverse" drama (but not from China Mainland). When I watched that drama, I wasn't interested because the acting and interactions between the actors still needed a lot of improvement, making it less than great from the first episode (in my opinion). But after watching "Desire," I almost cried because the presentation of all the components was perfect. I really enjoyed watching it. I'm excited to see how the next episodes turn out. I'm sure they're going to be even more beautiful and amazing.

hua yong obsessed
people who are hesitating to watch this....DONT start this right away because its that awesome...i found the end a little incomplete but its common in chinese bl. the end was good but they can do better. and actors omg they can make a room hot with just by their eyecontact and smirks of hua yong. omegaverse is not common in the dramas especially in bls but it was worth it. when it comes to second lead i hated that they are gonna end up together. i hated shen wen lang so much and he didnt deserve gao tu at all.i just didnt like that wen lang regeted it that much i wanted to see him regret so much. but overall it was a roller coaster ride.Was this review helpful to you?

the first real omegaverse
What i loved:-its the first real omegaverse bl : they showed omegaverse properly: heats, ruts, pheromones etc
-good introduction to the omegaverse in the first ep
-interesting and addictive story
-the visuals , mls looking so handsome
-making this bl wasnt easy as its a bl from china, they worked hard and i appreciate that, so i highly recommend people to watch legally and support them
What i disliked:
-rushed ending: about half the final ep
-second cp didnt have a proper ending but at least it hints to a happy ending
i heard it was supposed to be 24 eps which makes sense, but overall it was good
i highly recommend people to watch it and to give the show a lot of love

what shall i say... it was OKAY, but could've been better in my opinion.
This was my first time getting into omegaverse and watching any omegaverse content. I guess I learned a lot about it through this series and now the omegaverse has sparked my interest, and that's why the series was "okay" to watch. However... I don't know, but for some reason I couldn't empathise with the "main couple" at all and I was way more excited watching the other couple (absolutely dont like the ending for Gao Tu and Shen Wen Lang...). At first I wasn't really feeling the series at all but forced myself to finish it, until like episode 10 when it started to actually get exciting and interesting to watch, but the ending felt kind of rushed and I didn't quite get the satisfaction what I wanted in the end. I didn't like the character of Hua Yong at all only until his identity was revealed, then I was kind of empathizing with him a little bit. I think Shen Wen Lang was my favorite character, he was just funny to watch and I was rooting for his romance with Gao Tu the whole time... but yeah like I said it wasn't the ending I wanted.Was this review helpful to you?

Just finished watching the series, and I can’t help but feel a little lost now that it’s over. There’s always a sense of emptiness when a truly well-crafted show comes to an end. The storytelling, cinematography, and acting were all outstanding. I particularly wish Gao Tu and Shen Wen Lang had been given more screen time — their dynamic was so compelling. This was exactly what i wanted (kinda) from omegaverse BLs
Wait, this was like unexpectedly good. Just so you know, its an Enigma x Alpha storyline, which, damn, I never expected such a thing. Personally, I love pretty-looking tops so this is my cup of tea. I never expected that this type of dynamic would exist as a series to watch so maybe thats why i LOVE IT SO MUCH.The production quality is actually surprisingly very good (other than some scenes, like with cgi..uh...), the acting is top notch except for some typical cringe lines (you cant avoid them in omegaverses lol), but the actors kinda save it. I wanna praise especially the actors for the main Sheng Shao You and Hua Yong...cuz omg they did so well, BRO ESPECIALLY THE ACTOR FOR HUA YONG LIKE HIS ACTING IS SO GOOD. Honestly would see them in another BL cuz holy! I wouldn't say their chemistry is top-notch (its still pretty good) but visually they are both quite suitable for each other. Another thing to note is that when I watched it, some of the translated lines for subtitles were not exactly 100 percent accurate (I'm glad ik Chinese), but its not a big deal. I would also add that though the side couple wasnt really my thing, that area wasn't very well developed on (but for me it isn't a big deal, the side couple is an Alpha x Omega but they dont rlly get tgt :( ).
Overall, if you love non typical omegaverse or top and bottom dynamics (Like pretty top and cool bottom), this is for you! The storyline was pretty good, though it could be better, but i have no complaints. PLEASE DO GIVE THIS A CHANCE!!!

Underrated!
Ok, if u're into the Omegaverse genre, don't ever hesitate to watch it!For those who don't know this genre:
This series is a fresh concept in the entire BL series world—a great story with the best actors.
BUT I recommend you go and read about this genre, and if you don't like the idea or the details, then just move on.

But what hurt me the most was the ending. The last episode felt like they just had to finish the series so they wrapped up everything in just one last episode. It was a hurry. Gou Tu and Wenlang deserve better. They could make the ending better but even if they didn't want to change it then they should've atleast not wrapped up everything in just one episode.
But at last I would say that overall it is a really good series, something I would like to rewatch. Gave 9.5 rating, it wouldve been 10 if the ending was better. If you haven't watched it and reading this, go and watch it. It's really worth the time.

This show is genuinely so fun to watch. tbh I started watching it with zero expectations but man is this show good. like hua yong's top tier manipulation is so much fun to watch😂. like my guy is just playing everyone like a fiddle and I love it. this is actually my first interaction with omega verse and definitely a good first impression. the casts acting is so so good, especially elliot, like you can see pure innocence in his face one second and then boom, he completely switches personas so well. would highly recommend it you want to watch something fun and amusingWas this review helpful to you?
