A Cute and Funny Rom-Com That You Can Watch Under 2 Hrs!
STORY-8.0Based on the Webtoon of the same name, which I have not watched, Uncle Cool tells the love story between a cheerful high school girl and a cold but caring doctor. Besides these tropes, we have some others: Height Difference, Older Man/Younger Woman, School Bullying, Neighbors. The rather big age gap (seems to be 10 years at most) may be a bit bothersome for some, but as someone who usually doesn't mind these kinds of age gaps, I was perfectly fine with this couple. They are cute, and awkward in a good way! There were also quite a few comedic moments where I was laughing quite fiercely, a nice cherry on the top!
As this drama was only about 80 minutes, there wasn't a very deep and long story, but it managed to pack in the details very nicely. There are two rather touchy topics- School bullying, and child abuse. They played a crucial part in the drama and we watched the female lead become more confident and stronger as she overcame these problems.
There were also some heartwarming places in this drama. I particularly loved Na Na’s ‘enemy-to-friends’ relationship with a girl in school. Shows how much friendship is important to us and can help us get through hard times.

The actors are all at the novice level-they haven’t acted in many dramas, but I loved their characters and they were not awkward or strange as their characters at all. I felt that the main leads had reasonable chemistry; Of course, there wasn’t enough time for more cute interactions that would have left me fawning over them.
There weren’t many actors either, but they all did reasonably well, expressing their emotions very realistically and touchingly.
OVERALL-8.0
If you just want some relaxation with some fluff and a few laughs, I would immediately recommend Uncle Cool. There were no annoying details or characters with numerous heartwarming and cute scenes. Awesome character development as well!

Deserves a higher rating.
There aren't many dramas where I totally and instantly fall in love with the female lead, and this was one of the few. Her inner thoughts were so funny, even though her life is rather harsh. And I love a male lead with a hard exterior and a soft gooey heart.I didn't really mind the age difference because it didn't feel exploitative, rather it felt like a gentle Chinese version of Daddy Long Legs.
The ending was the point I took off, it was a cliffhanger, with no confirmed second season yet. But even with this ending, you do get a sense of closure, because of the personal growth the fl has.
All in all it was a short little web masterpiece, very entertaining and perfect for quick binge watching. It deserves more people watching and more people giving it better ratings.

Light watch despite a serious domestic abuse background
You can only get so much content out of a short web series...I think this was executed in the best way given the time constraints. It was as quick-paced and silly comedy as typical web series are but everything flowed very well and despite the serious topic of domestic abuse, it wasn't a sappy story. I was also really satisfied with the ending (not a "squeeze in a full unrealistic happy resolution even though the characters didn't interact much" type of web series ending).One thing I did feel awkward about was how large the age gap was (high schooler and middle-aged doctor) and the fact that the girl actually very aware how large this gap was (she always called him a proper uncle...not even older brother, as you would call a young man even if you were super young).

Interesting and different
In a sea of identical cdramas, I'm glad I found this one. Although FL is a pushover and timid, it was interesting to see her navigate school life and her relationship with uncle. Initially, I thought it would be a lowkey pedo or forbidden but I was so wrong. Their relationship was never in a bad sense and I loved how they portrayed the characters. I liked the vibe of uncle being a protector and looking out for her. Also, the comedy was so good what with the accidental kiss between her and her classmate, gangster scenes, and the twist in the last episode. The ending was open but I don't mind it as the manhua seems to be ongoing.Was this review helpful to you?

NOTHING LIKE BETTER DAYS AND MY BLOOD AND BONESV IN A FLOWING GALAXEY
This drama is NOTHING like Better Days and My Blood and Bones in a Flowing Galaxy 9I highly recommend you all watch it; it is so good and is underrated) it's more like the comedy series " Where there is dark there is also light " The comedy and how the main lead actress acts throw off the whole point. it's not a bad show it's just not a good show either.The acting is not bad but the direction is bad. this show could have been pointing out so many stereotypes and problems but they chose to go the comedy route....
Better Days did badly when it first came out believe it or not. it wasn't until recently that many people started watching it. many storywriters don't trust that "controversial" shows or series will due well.
a lot of c-dramas like these happen a lot where they try to "cute" everything to get the audience to watch the show. But the people who are actually into the plot never fully like the show/movie.
