Eye Candy in the form of ML & FL (that's about it)
I started this drama with high-ish expectations as it seemed promising.The starting soundtrack is catchy and upbeat! I also like that FL as I think she's pretty and cute. I must say that I don't find her the best of actresses but she certainly looks good on the screen.
The drama started off quite fine and I'd say that I'd rate it a "round up 8" although it wasn't a full 8/10. However, as the drama continued, my rating for it began to dip. It went from 7.5 to 7 and then, eventually, 6.5/10.
What I liked:
- The ML and FL are good-lookers. They certainly make my TV screen look very fine indeed.
- The parts to do with the ML and FL are pretty sweet and rather engaging.
- The soundtrack is pleasant and suits the drama.
(I guess the above is about it. I tried to add more but...)
What I didn't like:
- FL's ex-boyfriend is all kinds of crazily manipulative. I mean: Why be disloyal when he purportedly loves FL so much? It does not make sense. He also seemed crazily hell-bent on making FL his wife and hurrying her to get married which did not make sense at all. Also, FL is a human being and not his object or an object for him to play with. FL isn't a plaything. That man has issues which he needs to solve. He also blames everyone else around him instead of being self-reflective and thinking deeply about his erroneous ways.
- FL's father is also all kinds of crazy. He simply cannot accept FL being her own person and having her own mind.
- FL's brother is absolutely a pain to watch! The older girl-younger man relationship here is painful to watch and not at all sexy or hot. He behaves childishly on many occasions. He is selfish (in the name of love) and he tries hard to be cute but fails miserably. I cannot stand the way he speaks. There is something odd about the movement of his mouth/ lips. I had to press "fast-forward" whenever he appeared. He isn't cute either.
- ML's crazy ex-girlfriend was truly insufferably annoying. I hated looking at her and I hated hearing her. She and FL's ex-boyfriend should get together. Both have serious issues. They are manipulative and self-centred.
- There is too much screen time for other uninteresting couples in the show - Xu Wei and Fang Qi as well as Wang Ji and Lin Si Yu. They were boring and frustrating!
- FL and ML have a rather lukewarm relationship. They don't seem to have that much sizzling chemistry but it's still okay for me. I completed the drama for them and to see them.
- In general, the acting in the show isn't top-notch/ stellar. The FL seems to have one main "sweet smile" expression. ML seems better. (I am actually a fan of FL... I just have to be honest despite being a fan! I have watched several of her dramas!)
- The plot isn't anything very exciting either. Nothing interesting or suspenseful happens throughout the whole show.
Overall, this show is okay to watch if you just fast-forward any parts that don't excite you. Trust me, you won't miss anything much at all! :)

Drama Potential Wasted Because of Poor Script
Everything, from casting, music etc were all on point in this drama. The only major detractor was the script. The lines were so dry and boring, even the attempts at humor fell flat let alone the romantic parts. Every step forward the couple make, they take another two steps back. And they just keep circling and repeating the same problems over and over again. It was aggravating. The nature of their job descriptions was also a little hard to follow. Overall, it's a story that had great potential but was ultimately just a waste of time to watch.Was this review helpful to you?

Love this drama .recommended for all the drama lovers . Their acting is so good that I fall in love with both of them after a long get to watch such a good drama . The story is also good I also loved the music . Would love to watch the drama again as I fall for the both male lead & female lead 💖 The male lead look like the Chinese version of lee soo-hyuk. The feamale lead is really hardworking and smart I love that thing though she was a kind of dumb in another way but she is really fashionable. Also the relationship between them was mature.
The female leads ex-fiancee was really irritating .The male ex girlfriend tried to win him but couldn't 😂
thise scenes were funny.
Anyways overall its a damn goood drama 🤗

A Mature Lead Couple that Communicates! Bravo!
Enjoyed the maturity of both ML and FL. Especially when dealing with the ex's foolishness from both sides, both leads held their own. Can we just appreciate communication within the lead couple? Thank you, writers, for both passive and verbal communication between the leads that spoke volumes. It is nice to see a c-drama that did not dumb down the FL where she is strong at work and clueless in personal matters. It was also refreshing to see a ML who was not only strong at work but did not waver when it came to his standards in love. The affection and the conflicts that both the leads had to endure felt genuine and relatable. It was odd that the secondary relationship received more screen time than the leads. If you were to cut some the 'extra' scenes from the secondary relationship, the episode count could have been a solid 24 instead of 30. Very good character balance. i dont want to post spoilers but there might be some cuz i have to review the story lines
in my opinion the story line is quite good. This drama has very simple yet interesting storythe cast were good and did the acting well. Main interesting thing about this story is the character of her former fiancé
it shows how people can be so manipulative. he is pressuring her to be with him using his mother and other circumstances . i really was pissed off due to his manipulative behavior. i liked the main leads too they carried out the character very nicely

An easy (slightly irritating) watch
Will a drunken night lead to a blossoming office romance…?While I did overall enjoy this drama, the beginning was super frustrating. It starts with our FL struggling with the decision to end her current relationship due to her partner cheating on her or give it another shot. And I get that she’s been with him 10 years and invested so much time and effort into it but just…ugh. Dump him! He’s so freakin’ annoying and condescending to her - like, he doesn’t get her at all. So even without the huge deal of his infidelity, he’s already a toxic guy who doesn’t deserve her. 😡
Enter the ML and *swoon* - girl, be with him instead! 🫠 Seriously, our guy is so into her and really sees her in ways her current dude never has. He just gets her. And even though they start off with misunderstandings and false perceptions of one another, their attraction is immediate and their chemistry palpable.
So yeah, because of the tension between them due to her pushing him away to give her current dude another shot even though the one she truly wants is clearly the ML, the first half of this frustrated me. BUT, when she finally sets herself free and our Leads get together, happy sigh & happy dance because they. are. it! 🔥
Once they’re a them, it’s done. They don’t let anyone come between them. They refuse to bow to outside forces, they fight back against any attack. They’ve committed to one another and no delulu love rival, jealous ex, or cruel scheme will break them. So while the beginning brought frustration, the happy ending totally made up for it 😍
Side note: I didn’t feel much interest for any of the support cast (characters, not actors!) They were just kinda…there. I’d have preferred less of them and more of the Leads, but it wasn’t a huge annoyance or anything.

Should of only been 20 episodes long
I really hope this isn't those Chinese Romantic dramas where the Rich, emotionalist, get his way man, who demeans women eventually get the supposedly strong woman, but ends up mumbling weak minded and a enabler. We will see. This the 1st episode, but it looks like it.At first glance it appears that Mo Ling Ze is going to be the typical rich, demeaning to women, can have his way and no-one does anything to him man. Time will tell. Xu Qing You appears to be strong minded, driven and not a push over woman. And there it is: the I have to close you in for some reason, so you can fall me move. Usually its a trip or fall. What's with men getting in the face of the women and they say nothing nor do they do anything.!? Mo Ling Ze is a stalker. He doesn't respect her wishes. If you tell someone stay away and they show up where ever you are, it's called stalking. I guess in Chine there isn't anything called work place sexual harassment. I guess they call it dating. We all know how they will end up. let switch to the subplot.
I am glad there are other Cast member that have their side conversations, because right now the main characters have no chemistry. I can see where this is going. So far the subplots are better than the main characters. Mo Ling Ze can grab Xu Qing You at will and slang her anywhere and she does nothing. I guess in some circles that's called romance, but in the rest of the world it's call abusive and assault.
Xu Wei is the one doing everything right. He isn't grabbing Fang Qi and pusher her around. He is supporting and bailing her out when needed. Right now I am feeling that they could of told this Storyline in 20 episodes. The reason I say 20 episodes is because we know Xu Qing You and Mo Ling Ze hook up. Now all we have to do is solve the subplot situations. The skeletons are coming out of the closet.
The subplot was better than the Main storyline. The story of her brother's love for woman they grew up with and was her best friend was great! The chemistry between those two where fantastic. the chemistry between the ML and FL wasn't there. I felt He was a stalker, yanking her around, grabbing her at will and she did nothing. Mo Ling Ze knew she was broken heart and he zoomed in on it like a Bird of Prey. She was to weak minded to resist. Xu Qing You should of time to get herself together before getting back out there. Her Ex wasn't any better. He was obsessed to the enth degree. The Storyline should of only been 20 episodes long.
One time watch was good enough.

Uns dos melhores doramas que já assisti, eu amei do começo ao fim,perfeito,os personagens arrasaram .Eu amo essa atriz que fez a protagonista ela é maravilhosa e o protagonista nem se fala perfeito,uma das coisas que me irritou foi a ex dele e o ex dela que homem chato,o outro casal que eu amei foi o irmão da protagonista com a melhor amiga dela,eles ficaram fofos juntos.Eu queria tanto que tivesse a segunda temporada,da vontade de assistir de novo ,é maravilhoso. I am a fan of Zhang Yuxi after watching her performance in Guess Who I Am. I was also curious about Liu Xue Yi, who is currently starring in Kill Me, Love Me so I decided to watch this series. After completing this series, I noticed that all leading female characters (Xu Qing You, Fang Qi, Lin Si Yu) had experienced broken stilettos when they were with their love interests!What I liked:
1) Romance - I really like the dynamic between Qing You and Mo Ling Ze from the start. The sexual tension was killing me especially when Fan Yun Xi was in the picture. Once Qing You & Ling Ze got together, I had butterflies whenever they kissed, held hands and were lovey dovey. They looked visually stunning together.
2) Liu Xue Yi - Oh wow, he fit this role. He gave enough intrigue and charm to his role. Damn he was really good looking playing an investor.
3) Friendship - I like the different friendships shown in this series: i) Qing You-Fang Qi, ii) Ling Ze, Li Sa, and their bandmates A Luo & Bobo.
What I disliked:
1) Tang Xi - I understand why ex partners were featured in romance story but I think this ex went too far. I disliked her for thinking that she owned Ling Ze because she thought she played a role in his successful career. Please, you might have helped at the start but success doesn't happen overnight. Ling Ze is a successful investor because he works damn hard. I also disliked exes who selfishly left their partner and returned to claim their spot without acknowledging their mistake.
2) Mr Xu - Gosh I dislike him at the start when he favoured his former student/Qing You's then boyfriend over his own daughter. He should respect Qing You's decision and give her time to open up.
3) Secondary romance - I found the romance between Fang Qi and Xu Wei hardly convincing. i) Fang Qi was less invested in the emotional aspects of their romantic relationship. I hate it that she was implying the relationship wasn't serious when confronted by Xu Wei's parents. ii) Xu Wei is lacking life experience to be with a woman 8 years older than him.
4) Pacing - Towards the last quarter of the series, I felt bored but I kept going because I wanted to mark this series as 'Complete' as opposed to 'Dropped'.
Favourite scene
The auction engineered by Lin Si Yu but didn't work out her way. The sexual tension between Ling Ze and Qing You - wow!

Enjoyable romance without heavy drama
After watching over 100 Asian dramas in the past year, this one was very enjoyable and something I will put on my re-watch list. Although somewhat predictable in certain aspects, my favorite part was watching the main couple evolve and get closer thru the series. Their relationship was tested many times but not with the drama you see in some shows where couples are torn apart repeatedly and get back together. This couple worked thru the challenges each one strengthening their bond. It’s rare to see a show represent a couple that has faith in each other, communicates fairly well with each other and faces obstacles together. Too often it’s the opposite, I’m impressed with the writing team for this approach and wish more writers would use this style. A strong couple can endure many things and life is heavy enough who wants to watch all the misery some shows put couples through.From a romance perspective it sometimes seemed as though the second couple had more kissing scenes than the leads but the leads did have many touching scenes. I would’ve like to see his male employee and the girl that initially had a crush on the lead have a more evolved romance, but they kept the storyline focus from being too wide spread which was good.
I enjoyed the music and some of the scenery was very beautiful. Hats off to the writing team and cast for a job well done. I recommend this series for others to watch.

Mature love story
Long time not watch one mature love story like this. Really happy can found & watch this drama.What I really love about this drama is how our couple, Xu Qing You (QY) & Mo Ling Ze (LZ) handle jealousy problem. They didn't do emotional outbursts or childish act, just a little sulking that a little bit cute... & I also really love how easy they apologize if they have done something wrong to other person, no need to wait for the man to apologize first or give action.
I also really love how the relationship between Fang Qi (FQ) & Xu Wei (XW) develop. It's really not easy to break through brother - sister relationship between them. But of course a little attentive and sincerity never useless. And I also really love how XW really respected FQ as a human being, not only as a woman. His word that express FQ should become herself no need to pretend, even for the sake of his friend, is really something that we must give big applause.
With all the positive side of this drama, I still think this drama have something that not complete yet. I really want to know the relationship between QY & his dad. His story ended only with his mom suicide, what happen with his dad...? Why did he go to prison? What was his mistake...? Is his dad still alive...? See... so many question that have no answer....
Overall this one mature drama that you can't miss...
