Would've been a better 12-episode drama, but no
This drama started out very strongly. The cast is terrific and the chemistry between the 1st and 2nd leads was excellent. The romance element evolved steadily through episode 8, where things took a dramatic and unexpected turn. Unfortunately, after weathering the fallout from that, the drama gradually lost steam before fizzling out to a somewhat trite conclusion.This drama ran concurrently with the 12-episode drama “No Gain, No Love.” Both dramas had stellar casts, strong production values, and a reasonably good premise. But where NGNL felt tight and refined, Love Next Door felt loose, repetitive, and messy. There just wasn’t enough of a story to stretch it out to 16 episodes. It was kind of disappointing actually. Save this one for a rainy day when you’ve already seen everything else on your list, or you need a Jung So Min or Jung Hae In fix.

A drama with good potential
The drama started on a good note, the premise was exciting and the chemistry between the characters was undeniable. All the actors do a phenomenal job in pulling us in. The dynamics of not only the lead couple but the second leads and the family made the drama all the more endearing. More than the typical rom com , it leans more towards slice of life. It delves into the lives of the leads , what they went through , their relationship with friends and family. It was good to see other side characters' lives as well . The childhood best friend to lovers trope was done well but I needed more tension and angst. The second couple was my favourite. They were the reason I continued with the series. In the end it became a little bland. Nonetheless, it is one of the good dramas of this year.Was this review helpful to you?
Easily one of the best (if not the best) dramas for me!!
As someone who barely moves past the first episode of any drama, there was not a single episode where I felt the need to drop LND!! As with any other script, even this one was not perfect but honestly, when I look back everything somehow fell into place and it felt like even certain flaws were acceptable. I have no idea how I'm going to move on from the show because I have been giving almost all of my free time to it! Seungryu, Somin and Haein made the weekends so much more fun! It's going to take a while for me to get over this drama!! Watching LND has been an adventure I would not mind experiencing all over again!!Was this review helpful to you?
One of the best of all times!!!
In my opinion this kdrama was very realistic, the story was veryy realistic, things that actually happen in real life to ordinary people, they all were ordinary people anyway, a group of people who loved each other and helped each other be better in every aspect. the main leads chemistry is unquestionable, they look soo happy and cute together i cant? the second lead couple too, their story is also soo unique i love it. i wish we had more of them tho☹️just like they said in the last ep, every experience that u have and every person that u meet makes u who u are and that’s definitely true.
the friendship of the lavender group too omg i loved them, they were real friends, stayed together through up and downs and made their dreams come true together?
i really enjoyed watching this, it was never boring, has the right pace, the perfect writing and the perfect actors, it will forever be one of my favorites??

love happiness and reality
it is a must watch, very relatable show. happy ending makes it me to eatch mote since thats how we should be living this is world and society.message of this series around how your strength is your family and friends around you makes it even more special.
people these days tendency not to share their problems and difficulties, and just try to deal with them alone. which I think was very well conveyed, if family is with you will get through the toughest part of life easily. try not to ignore love

A solid romcom.
A pretty standard kdrama romcom, I liked it! The main characters had chemistry and were funny together. I also enjoyed seeing the side couple. One of my favorite things about the show was the relationship between Moeum and Yeondu; it was so heartwarming. The storyline with all the moms was pretty funny, too.Overall, a good watch.

What to know before watching this drama
The drama was really good for my tastes. It contained a really story, the actors did an amazing job and it was so funny at moments it had my laughing really loud and so sad and touching i was several times on the verge of tears. Something really good also was how the moment the story seemed like its was nearing its end they found a way to make it so it was interesting and captivating till the end . There were some really good plot twist and some shocking answers to some of the questions, so if you want something funny, serious and cute, then thats the show for you. (For me the beginning of the first episode was i little cringe, but thats something ican look over.)Was this review helpful to you?

Through the story of two childhood friends you will laugh, cry, reflect on friendship, family and yourself. Thanks to the talented actors, the episodes follow one another at the speed of a smile. I rarely watched and finished romcom korean drama but this one is a must!!! One of my fave already!! And it’s ending today!! ??? I recommend this drama for all kdrama lovers especially romance lovers. I dunno why the rating is only 8.5 this should be 9 up. I love the story even though its a cliche friend became lover story but the chemistry of the main characters and also the second characters are DAEBAKK!!!!!!! Also the friendship of their mothers are also DAEBAKK!!!! In short the storyline IS DAEBAKKKKKKKK!!!!!Was this review helpful to you?

aii não consigo acreditar que já acabou, o tempo passou tão rápido. eu amei demais esse dorama, desde o primeiro episódio eu já sabia que ele se tornaria um favorito. adorei todos os personagens e a relação de cada um deles, senti um quentinho no coração vendo eles juntinhos. e a dinâmica da relação dos protagonistas? PERFEIÇÃO!!!a única coisa que deixou um pouco a desejar (pelo menos na minha opinião) mas apesar disso continua sendo um dorama bem proveitoso. saudades deles!!!

LoveNextDoor is not your series if you are looking for a series unrealistic green flags. It speaks about how to handle miscommunication, admission of unchangeable situation, and embrace imperfection. Too brilliant for #JungSoMin #JungHaeIn for their roles ?One thing I love about love next door is how the characters are realistic, they are not perfect and all have flaws as humans.

I loved it
I don’t care what anyone says, I get that it was a cliche show with characters that were fairly easy to read. but I love how every single one of the characters minus one of the members of Lavender pretty much had a backstory, and some sort of conclusion to the series. I really like how there weren’t any goofy and dramatic traffic accidents, and that everything felt tied together in the end.I think the main annoyance to me was how everything was a weird secret with everyone’s relationships.
