so far … I LOVE IT SO MUCH !
the main leads are so likeable. their chemistry is amazing. i love watching so-min and hae-in’s kdramas ! i also love the childhood besties trope, with the “i hate you, you’re annoying” facade and + “he fell first then she fell but he’s head over heels for her” AHAHAHA it’s so obvious he likes her. i think deep down inside, she likes him too but she doesn’t wanna ruin the friendship. i love the bestie mo-eum and i’m excited to see what happens in her storyline. oh and FYI i cried in episode two 😭Was this review helpful to you?
A drama with good potential
The drama started on a good note, the premise was exciting and the chemistry between the characters was undeniable. All the actors do a phenomenal job in pulling us in. The dynamics of not only the lead couple but the second leads and the family made the drama all the more endearing. More than the typical rom com , it leans more towards slice of life. It delves into the lives of the leads , what they went through , their relationship with friends and family. It was good to see other side characters' lives as well . The childhood best friend to lovers trope was done well but I needed more tension and angst. The second couple was my favourite. They were the reason I continued with the series. In the end it became a little bland. Nonetheless, it is one of the good dramas of this year. Was this review helpful to you?
My first Ever Review, Take it from someone who has been with this drama from the casting news
I may not be a writer so I cant tell how good or bad the writing is but I do know that the Show gave us exactly was promisedFrienship☑️
Family☑️
Healing☑️☑️
Romance☑️
Love☑️
Comedy☑️
They managed to pull all of that off so to me that's good enough .
My major problem is how they hardly used the OSTs for some reason, the OSTs were actually very good but it seems they didn't want to promote them well in the drama.
The dynamics between the characters were wholesome , the chemistry between the lwads were on fire 🔥🔥. the characters were realistic and it is amazing how they made them stay true to the characters mannerisms throughout the series to the end (Applaud them for that)
It is the kind of drama you can watch with your family , I am actually planning to rewatch the whole series with my family and I can see myself coming back to it time to time
I wanted to give it 10/10 so bad because, it has been long since I got so attacehed to a show
Anyways, Please watch this show on your own accord without any external influence , that is the only way, you will enjoy it , put your expectations outside and just enjoy the journey , laugh, cry , jump and love with the characters and I promise it will be fun....

Different emotions while watching
So far I’m loving it , it’s only on Episode 8 and I’ve already laughed, cried, gotten angry and felt almost every emotion I can think of. I’m excited to keep watching this drama. The chemistry the 2 main leads have is off the charts, you can tell they get along very well in real life. I also love the 2nd lead couple they’re both really funny. Was this review helpful to you?
A solid romcom.
A pretty standard kdrama romcom, I liked it! The main characters had chemistry and were funny together. I also enjoyed seeing the side couple. One of my favorite things about the show was the relationship between Moeum and Yeondu; it was so heartwarming. The storyline with all the moms was pretty funny, too.Overall, a good watch.

it’s so good so far
The drama has captivated me with its compelling storyline and outstanding performances from the cast. Every episode brings a new level of excitement and depth, making it hard to wait for the next one. The actors' portrayals are authentic and emotionally resonant, truly bringing the characters to life. If the series continues on this strong path, I’m confident it will become one of my all-time favorites. I’m eagerly looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds in the upcoming episodes. The production values are also top-notch, with beautifully crafted scenes and a soundtrack that perfectly complements the mood. Overall, this drama has all the elements of a classic in the making, and I can’t wait to see how it evolves.🥰Was this review helpful to you?

PERFEIÇÃO!!!a única coisa que deixou um pouco a desejar (pelo menos na minha opinião) mas apesar disso continua sendo um dorama bem proveitoso. saudades deles!!!

A Journey Worth to Ride
It is an amazing story. The build up is slow, but that is life! It is not even a build up, it is a journey of pain, struggle, sorrow, failure, joy, smile, success, everything you have got through that makes you who you are today. It tells us to share our journey with the people around us who loves us, people who we can lean on, people who are willing to hit the rock bottom together with us, and rise back to the peak. It also shows that love is not always about happiness. Sometimes you have to squeeze you blood, sweat and tears to love! The conflicts in the beginning are really complex and a lot. However, the writer's put everything in mostly correct place. The struggle of each characters: Seok-Ryu's, Seung-Hyo's and even each of the family members are highlighted well. And it really depicts the struggles of a normal person, normal family in real life. They cried for help, they helped each other to solve their problems, and once again, that's life!
For all the comments saying that the romance is dull, I think it's not. It just a different form of romance that they were on. For someone who had known and lived next to each other more than 30 years, I think you can't expect them to have a passionate affection as in other romance dramas. Still, I love how Seok-Ryu could compare everything she had in mind with foods!
On the contrary, I don't really like the character build up of Kang Dan-Ho. He does not seem to have a consistent characteristics. One day he would be very kind and affectionate, the next day he became reluctant and mean and on the other day he became passionate again towards Mo-Eum without any valid and strong reason. I mean people can change, but for someone who had a personal experience, it was too easy for him just to change his mind like that.
The storyline near the end of the series are a bit thin and slow, compared to the complexity at the beginning. I think the storyline was intended for 15 episodes. However they were forced to make it into 16. Also I feel like the writer failed to explore some chance to be developed. I was looking forward to see the result of the school gym renovation. As that place meant a lot to the journey of Seung-Hyo and Seok-Ryu, I was hoping they will create a new moment together there, but nothing happened. Same thing happened to Seung-Hyo's time capsule letter. He picked it up from the trash only to be forgotten! As for the soundtrack, they didn't highlight it well. They should put it more in the important scenes so that it can be more memorable.
For someone with younger age, I think this drama may be boring. But for the older group, a lot of the scene in this drama may relate to your real life. Overall I would REALLY recommend this drama, but for you may have to consider if you want to rewatch, unless you want to feel the pain again, lol.

Realities of life
Love Next Door is a very nice drama. I love the plot, the comedic timing and the realities of life. I really love the casting. The casts really performed their script so well and the "adlivs" of #JungSoMin adds beauty to the story. They really gave life to the story. For me the rewatching value of this drama #LoveNextDoor is more than 100% as it's not boring, it give gives comfort and relaxation to the heart and spirit. You will really laugh and cry as its very relatable to the real life. Salute to the casts and crew of this drama. Was this review helpful to you?
