The Early Spring Episode 20

Loving an angel

This episode began as it often does with Luke choosing to do something stupid😝🙄 Once again he misinterprets something and he leaves instead of asking questions and straightening things out immediately. He always has to take the petty route first. I like that Flora pushed back and showed the degree of trust she had in him in spite of rumors and appearances. He really couldn’t say much after that. He felt bad enough to come back early from overseas to show where his loyalties were. Flora had no clue how clinically depressed her friend was when he brought her the flowers. All she could do was hold on to him and wish him to feel better. I am glad she stood up for her friends with Luke and made it clear regardless of their relationship status, she wasn’t kicking her friends to the curb when they needed her. Sun Yu loved Yuan Zhu unconditionally. She could not help herself because he was everything to her. She gently made her feelings known and even when repeatedly but kindly rejected, she continued to love him anyways. She wanted him to know she would always be there for him. He did the same for Flora, who gently let him know repeatedly her heart was with Luke. These three friends put themselves aside when needed. They never failed to come through for the friend that needed their support and strength. Yuan Zhu tried so hard to hold on, but when he did not want to burden them with his grief, his spiral was started. Sun Yu’s view of loving an angel is a lovely bittersweet way to interpret and remember her unrequited love for Yuan Zhu. It was a pure love that transcended a physical relationship. She loved his very essence and was a better person for it. After reading his diary at Sun Yu’s request, Flora finally could talk with her friend of Yuan Zhou’s feelings without feeling guilty. She loved them both dearly and just held hope he would accept Sun Yu’s love. I can only be glad they were together to comfort each other from his loss.😔😭 It is also during this time that Flora is taking an interview evaluation for Specialist with the company. She has been working very hard and maybe Luke returned to weigh in on her recommendation for the promotion. Had to grin that she made Mr. Cold heart CEO take note of the girl that dared check him out in the lobby. 😁 I hope she will share her grief with Luke and take some time to mourn. I choose to think Yuan Zhu is flying with the clouds looking over them. 🌹❤️
