joy/ peace /hope 3 words describes this masterpiece
this movie came to me as a light in the darkness when for months i was not able to cry..watching Haruna being sick and smile gave me hope that i must love life and thank God that im healthy enough..she is a symbol of resistence even she was alone she was never selfish, she just wanted to live a little bit longer with her hero Akito.. she fought until her last breath till she went to heaven..her acting was sumblime u cannot not fall in love with her cuteness she is adorable..i really hope to see her in more movies or Jdrama. The lesson that it was applied here was that people can become a reason to survive and even with few of them you can create the best memories before ur farawell..I hope one day i will find my own Akito he is the true definition of a caring man..imagine u still have few months for urself to live and u decide to use them to make happy ur lover instead of urself...the definition of a true gentelman..i do not think boys like him exist what he does for her is the heart of the movie...she so lucky to have him as her angel.
This movie must be more and more popular and win many awards...people must watch it to find joy in their heart. This movie will make u cry like a river even if u are a stone..i still cannot believe that after years of watching movies i came across something like that...thank u netflix

Definitely worth the watch.
I just want to say this is one of the saddest movies I’ve ever watched. I would say I am the biggest cry babies when I watch sad things but this really takes the cake. I’ve literally been crying for 2 days it’s so sad but so good. The plot is amazing and who ever wrote the story line did an amazing job at making the storyline flow. I think the way the portrayed the flower throughout the whole movie from beginning to end was so heart warming and actually made me cry even more just think about it. I also think this movie can be kind of like a message for the real world in some way or another. Was this review helpful to you?
"The color of love provides the meaning of life and art"
Drawing Closer is the latest tearjerker from writer Tomoko Yoshida whose works include Love Like the Falling Petals, I Want to Eat Your Pancreas and Tomorrow I Will Date Yesterday's You.If you've watched those excellent movies before, you'll likely feel the same way about this as you did with them. Consider this your warning to have lots of tissues around before you dive in. This movie will absolutely wreck you with it's emotional portrayal of resilience and living in the moment.

HEART WRENCHING.
I finished this just a while ago, and I can say it is beautifully written and produced. This film did not only touch my hear but also broke it into pieces. I'm not quite good with expressing myself but here it goes:STORY/PLOT:
The plot was good. It was just simple. Even though you somehow predict that they'll die in the end— yet you still hold on to the hope that they will live and enjoy their life together but you know...
I can say very well that the story was nicely executed— especially without having too much of that or too less of these— it was just balanced, which made it more perfect.
ACTING/CASTING:
Every actors were great with their roles— they've brought out the charm of each leads' character well enough.
MUSIC:
It's great. I think I'll listen to it more, and just have to recall all of these again— and cry my heart out.
REWATCH VALUE:
This is totally something worth watching all over and over again.
This is a masterpiece worth to be known by everyone. Just watch it— I can assure you that it is worth your time.

3 Gaberas???
The only j-movie which made me bawl my eyes for nearly 1 hr.Just finished watching this movie, well before didn't had much hope that it'll gonna impress me, thought maybe this gonna be a simple as usual movie where leads die, which actually happened but the way they portrayed it, that was??.
For people who likes romance it would not excite you much but the love shown here the slow and silent romance they had was ethereal.
I would definitely recommend everyone to watch it,you might cry pr be in pain remembering the pain and trauma it'll give but the essence of life and the positivity Haruna showed us towards life is what everyone should seek in their life.

Worth the watch
I recommend this movie to everyone.Deep hidden meaning is not the theme of this move. it is just a really beautifull and refreshing story that you may wanna see once in a while.
Acting was great from everyone and if there were problems story and chemistry managed to fill the gap. Main characters chemistry was not your usual chemistry, it needed to be something pure and they delivered it.
Even the ending that some consider to be cruel i think it was realistic and it made the movie to be more appreciated.
