Park Eun-bin absolutely stole this drama
“Wonderfools” was chaotic in the best way possible 😭The cast chemistry honestly carried the whole drama for me. Park Eun-bin as Eun Chae-ni was SO GOOD — she perfectly balanced childish chaos, naughty energy, and emotional vulnerability. When Chae-ni learned about her heart condition, the emotional switch in her acting genuinely hit hard.
And the way Cha Eun-woo’s Lee Woon-jung quietly protected her from everyone’s carelessness instead of making it dramatic… those small moments worked really well for me.
The VFX and overall fantasy atmosphere were honestly better than I expected too. The powers looked fun instead of cheap, and the drama fully embraced the weird chaotic energy of its world.
I also liked that at some point I started feeling sympathy even for Ha Won-do’s side. Son Hyun-joo made the villain feel more human instead of just “evil scientist bad.” Though I do think the opposing villain group got nerfed later compared to how threatening they first felt.
And that last teaser with the mad scientist returning? Yeah… they definitely knew people would want more chaos 😭
The story had some uneven parts for me, but the acting, cast chemistry, comedy, emotional moments, and fun atmosphere made it a really memorable watch overall.
8/10.

Definitely one of the most enjoyable K-dramas I've watched this year.
Wonderfools is a 10/10 for me. 😂I honestly didn't expect to laugh this much while watching a K-drama. The "Kung Kung Tak" scene and the ceiling scene had me crying from laughter. If you've watched it, you probably know exactly what I'm talking about. 😂😭
What I loved most is that they're not the usual "cool" heroes. One gets bullied, one is always filing complaints at city hall, one is sheltered because of her heart condition, and somehow these are the people who end up trying to save the world.
Some of my favorite moments were when they were still figuring out their powers. Imagine suddenly gaining superpowers and having absolutely no idea what triggers them. Watching them learn through trial and error was both hilarious and surprisingly wholesome.
But beyond the comedy, action, and superpowers, what stayed with me most was their friendship. They're all carrying their own struggles, yet somehow they find each other and become a team.
It reminded me that the people we meet along the way can have a bigger impact on our lives than we ever expect. Sometimes, the right people don't just make life more fun, they help us become stronger, braver, and more ourselves. 🤍
🌟 10/10
If you're looking for something funny, heartwarming, a little chaotic, and full of lovable characters, I'd highly recommend this one.

The Wonderfools delivered everything
This story has complex characters and relationships even though it's mostly comedy, and that's what makes it more enjoyable. No one is perfect, and I find the flawed characters more endearing. It's funny, intriguing... It has more romance than I expected and the chemistry between everyone is a 💯The comedy timing is exquisite. It handles different tones of humor and never runs the same joke into the ground.
It's also interesting how they changed the intro's color, tone and music for ep 6 after the ending on ep 5 ☠️
Eun Chaeni, the main character, is completely adorable and incredibly brave. And watching her and her grandmother be exactly the same person is the sweetest thing. Chaeni is understanding like her grandma, she's magical. She died, her friends were about to throw her in a dumpster, she came back from the dead and didn't think for a moment to blame them. That's just who she is.
8 episodes feel short, and while the story does get a proper ending, it's wide open for a second season in the best way. I really hope they make it, though according to the director, nothing is planned.
Spoilers... I'm obsessed with the way Unjeong and Chaeni never confessed and kinda become essential to each other. His feelings for Chaeni were what made Unjeong change and confront the villain, so it's part of the main plot and core to the development of the story, not just a side romance. Park Eunbin and Cha Eunwoo did a great job making us understand how their characters feel and the core of their connection even without saying everything out loud. I was expecting a proper kiss between them, but they did a great job showing their connection in a few scenes that fed us forever.
I love the fact that Robin kept correcting Chaeni's words the whole time and she never cared. But when he corrected her on Unjeong's last name (because she kept saying Choi Unjeong instead of Lee Unjeong ) Chaeni got all flustered and embarrassed 🤭
The child actors are incredible, the casting is perfect because they represent their adult versions so well.
The Wonderfools has a thousand details that make it worth watching a thousand times.

Funny Superheroes Done Right
Good drama. It has action, humor, great chemistry between the characters, and interesting personalities. I think it’s the perfect kind of project for a franchise (I’m almost sure there will be a season 2). The concept itself is also quite original. In short, it’s definitely the kind of drama you can watch as a couple to spend a pleasant evening together. The superheroes are genuinely very funny, and Eun Woo, as always, is charming and incredibly likable.Of course, Park Eun Bin carries much of the project on her shoulders as a talented actress, thanks to her natural and energetic acting. And Eun Woo brings glamour and charm to the drama… The other characters also deserve recognition, although some of them are a bit too stereotypical, which is probably the only downside. On the other hand, the special effects are well done, and the cinematography is good too.
The director also did a solid job — he managed to make everything work convincingly and bring all these elements together successfully. The two other superheroes are incredibly cute and funny. In fact, the humor revolves around these three characters (3 Comic relief characters) , while the others remain serious, and it’s precisely this contrast in tone that makes the drama so entertaining.
As for the casting, the heroine has some similarities to the character type from "True Beauty". They clearly didn’t want to take risks and chose a formula that already works. Apparently, this kind of casting matches very well with Eun Woo

I laughed alot
I love a good action comedy drama. This has me laughing alot!!! Amazing actors!Eun Chae Ni, Son Gyeong U and Kang Ro Bin are so chaotic and then "Master" joined their little crew.
I think this is one my first drama where Cha Eun Woo is doing action than romance and it was good seeing that.
Overall, you will get a lot good laughs and action.
I can't wait for season 2!!!

prepare to laugh!
First thing I have to say is: wait for episode two. That’s when things really start to get lit. I will say, I haven’t laughed like this while watching a K-drama in a long time—probably since Mr. Queen. The show is super hilarious. The characters are amazing, and the actors do a wonderful job portraying them. The leads have really great chemistry. Overall, it’s such a good show with an incredible cast. Was this review helpful to you?

AMAZING
Genuinely adored this show, it had such a compelling and interesting plot I forgot it was supposed to be a comedy, still loved the absurd and dry humour though, all the main character's are so endearing they're all unique from each other and have their own flaws and their personalities aren't shrunk down by the end like a lot of shows tend to do with similar sort of bumbling characters, the chemistry between both the romantic pairings and the friendship ones was pretty natural feeling.Although there are only really two or three main songs that play throughout the show they really fit the moments and I loved hearing Creep by Radiohead in this. I do kind of wish they dug a little bit deeper with Chae-Ni's immortality as a superpower, but at the same time I really like how they didn't overuse it.
Overall I loved this show though, would love a second season!

Not for me
To much nonsens, slapstick and CEW's acting still has room for improvement and development. Was this review helpful to you?
Whole Package
the wonderfools is the drama of full package comedy action thriller emotional and solid acting by whole cast. Mr son was so funny and man has no idea 🤣 and his best partner mr robin. the chemistry of all 4 leads chaeni unjeong mr son robin is superb. chaeni calling him choe unjeong instead of lee unjeong was so romantic to me. and that iconic beach scene it was so good playing with audience emotions. each episode is so good made us all so hooked. lee unjeong played by cha eunwoo is funny as the "straight man" who tries to keep the chaotic group in line, but he also shows deep emotion and vulnerability.another addition to his great works with island; wonderful world ; true beauty; rookie historian and migb. looking forward to his next work.
highly recommend this drama.

one of the best netflix dramas
watched episode 1 it hooked from from the start. In late 1999, as the impending arrival of the new millennium fuels widespread Y2K panic and apocalyptic doom-mongering, the fictional city of Haeseong becomes the epicenter of an unusual supernatural phenomenon. The city is home to a trio of social outcasts: Eun Chae-ni, a cynical, hot-tempered 27-year-old suffering from a severe congenital heart condition that leaves her facing sudden death; Son Kyung-hoon, a notorious public nuisance who constantly files petty civil complaints at city hall; and Kang Ro-bin, an overly timid man frequently treated as a neighborhood pushover.Desperate to travel the world before her illness claims her life, Chae-ni concocts a hare-brained scheme to stage her own kidnapping alongside Kyung-hoon and Ro-bin in order to extort ransom money from her wealthy, overprotective grandmother, Kim Jeon-bok. However, the plan goes disastrously wrong when Chae-ni suddenly suffers a fatal heart attack. The entire incident is witnessed by Lee Un-jeong, a socially awkward, rigidly rule-oriented civil servant recently transferred to Haeseong City Hall from Seoul. Known by colleagues as an oddball, Un-jeong secretly possesses powerful telekinetic abilities. Recognizing his prowess, the newly empowered trio dubs him their "master" and pressures him into training them to control their unstable gifts. Un-jeong, who reluctantly complies, harbours his own dark secrets tied to a closed orphanage that once stood on the grounds now occupied by a fanatical doomsday cult, the Church of Eternal Salvation. and the she WOKE UP THE WHOLE SCENE IS SO HILARIOUS SO GOOD AND SO WELL ACTED BY CHA EUNWOO, AND THE OTHERS.
