The movie is about 2nd year high school student Kodaka Hasegawa who transferred to his new school about a month ago, but he still hasn't made any friends. Kodaka Hasegawa was born from a Japanese father and a British mother. Because of his appearance, people think Kodaka Hasegawa is a troubled kid. One day, Kodaka Hasegawa sees classmate Yozora Mikazuki pleasantly talking to herself. Kodaka Hasegawa talks with her about how to make friends. To make friends, Yozora Mikazuki decides to make the Neighbor's Club and Kodaka is forced to enroll in the club. Soon other students begin to enroll in the Neighbor's Club. At first, I liked the fact this film centered on characters being socially anxious.

However I feel like this movie did start on that topic to then leave it halfway without giving a conclusion on that matter, which I found to be a pity.

Overall it's very confusing. There are a few pieces of story/life advice that are interesting but I really feel like they were mashed together to make one story and it appeared to be very confusing to me...

Apart from the "Sebangou No Nai Ace" song the music didn't really strike me...

As for the acting, it could have been better. I especially expected more from Seto Koji. But to be fair, this is a movie whose aim is probably to be funny and look somehow exaggerated ? So it's not really the kind of movie that will help showcase great acting skills.

Won't really recommend this to my friends. It wasn't boring but it wasn't great either. If you don't mind getting confused and thinking 'what the fuck am I watching' a few times during the 2h of this movie, then you might be able to finish it !

This was an amazingly great movie depicting, the anxiety and antisocial tendencies all teenagers have, with addition of the quirky, weird personalities that outcast these select people, together they make a group of weird and amazing friends that are unstoppable. That and they make a virtual reality that they go into the game and when you think they've escaped it, they really have not it. Secrets and problems are revealed that only solidify their diverse relationships, and I think that's beautiful, although at times it was slow paced, and I would've preferred greater music, I think it's one of those that you will watch and take home the morales, no one is indifferent, every friend is destined, don't take your life and future for granted.
~~~~~That is all~~~~~~
