Five Stars

gosh, my heart breaks many times over while watching this.first off, i am enjoying Ji Sung who plays a rotten brat who only knows how to waste money LOL. turned out he is rebelling against his father who rejected his lover and wanted to marry his son off for business.and that hit and run accident. i feel so sad that the guy who drove the car came out to check on the girl who he crashed over, but he left her there and lied to his girlfriend about hitting an object instead. because of his cowardness, that woman was left to die in the rain for 3 hours, and died shortly after in the hospital. and she was pregnant too. he as a prosecutor, should know better than anyone else. it makes me so angry that he did that. it's true that if it was the girl who ran the woman over, she would never have run away.you can say that the FL is beyond stupid for trusting her boyfriend too much, supporting him financially with her hard-earned money and now pleading guilt for something she's innocent for. but to me it's not unrealistic, because i could be one LOL (no joke).i for one know how it feels to love someone else more than you love yourself, and when things fall apart, your world come crushing down and it feels like nothing else is left in your life that is worth fighting for anymore.some people would think, it doesn't make sense. but for me, it does because some people really are 'stupid' or stupidly in love like that, until they learned their lesson the hardest way.i also liked the way her boyfriend's character was written. he's a coward yes, but not a straight up asshole who uses her without guilt, yet. he did propose to her after 7 years of dating even though he went to the blind date that his mom arranged, and you can also see how hard it's been for him to watch his woman take the fall on his behalf. i am now really interested to see how/where the writer-nim will take this.

Taking the blame

Yoo Jeong is stupid and reckless; why is she taking the blame for something that her Do Hoon did? I do not appreciate her attitude towards what happened. It’s not like losing his dreams will be the end of her. Too much love from her side and too little care from his side.

Min Hyuk is turning into a monster; Ji Hee was his toy and he needs fun to continue his life. I don’t know if the arrogant rich combo as well as a revenge freak will suit him but I got to admit that I liked the scene where he almost killed Yoo Jeong in the police station. I am interested to know how their relationship will develop from now on.

There’s some sort of stretching in here; just send Yeo Jeong to the prison already.

Fast, but good!

The pace of this drama really goes by fast. A lot of things happened in this episode, but it only the beginning. I am sure it will get worse from here. Hopefully, it doesn't fall apart. Min Hyuk is mean brat, but I am sure he will change later on?

I Love It Buuuuuut....

I love the pace because things are happening quickly (I'm guessing because it's only 16 Episodes). The downside is that I feel zero attachment to any of the characters except Yoo Jeong. And that's because they've wrung every emotion out of her in the first hour. OMGoodness I wanted to give her a plane ticket away from everyone in this drama, including her father.

And why must everything be gray? I realize life is gray but just once I'd like a character to be a cold blooded killer and be unlikable. That sounded wrong didn't it...? Oh well!

But great so far! I dislike almost every character, feel almost no sympathy for Min Hyeok since he almost strangled my MC with no repercussions, I'm angry with Do Hoon for even showing interest in Se Yeon, and Do Hoons' mother, I can't even. But also, despite the fact I dislike almost every character, I still want to keep watching to see what happens.

It has a similar feel to Innocent Man, in a good way. I loved that drama and became invested because the characters and their motivations were so complex. You can pull off the gray if you have layers... And so far this drama does.
