The Drama Overall
Boyfriend on Demand is the story of how a soft beta guy with zero game fell in love with a low-self-esteem alpha girl and managed to win her over because she created an alpha version of him in a dating simulator — and that version ended up giving her advice until she fell for the actual soft, whiny protagonist.Dude, if I found out the person I fell for had created her ideal man in a dating sim and that man turned out to be literally me, I'd drop to my knees and thank God. The guy is such a pushover that he was out here pouting the whole time. That said: I loved the drama. Solid 10/10. Seo In-guk's acting is always incredible — the man is unmatched in versatility. He's played a con artist profiler, a rich guy with amnesia, even Death itself, and now this. Absolute legend. Was this review helpful to you?
Its Decent Watch.
As mentioned before in my each episode reviews, this drama had huge potential. But nonetheless, there are few places the drama shines and few where it falters.
But the question is, should I skip it or stream it? Well, I would suggest you to give it a try and watch it. You will appreciate the potential of the story. You will be impressed by Jisoo's chemistry with someone else more than the ML. Won't spoil you but give it a try.
Now after watching the finale, I felt that there were few unresolved things which were left out, hence I was feeling somewhat incomplete after watching it.
Still, if you have time, give this drama a shot.

Boyfriend on Demand is such a fun and feel good romance !!
Boyfriend on Demand is such a fun and feel good romance that completely pulls you in from the start. The chemistry between the main characters is natural and exciting, making every interaction enjoyable to read. What really stands out is how the story balances lighthearted, playful moments with genuine emotional depth it’s not just a typical romance, it actually makes you care about the characters and their growth. The pacing is smooth, the dialogue feels real, and there are plenty of moments that will make you smile (and maybe even swoon a little). It’s the kind of book you can easily binge in one sitting because you just need to know what happens next. Overall, it’s a charming, uplifting read that’s perfect if you’re looking for something romantic, entertaining, and comforting. Definitely worth picking up if you love modern love stories. Was this review helpful to you?

Actual Boyfriend is unrealistic
I binge watched it after seeing a lot of positive reviews of it on twitter - especially the scene about how the FL reacts to SiWon's cringe worthy acts, but the actual boyfriend seemed to be more cheesy and unrealistic than the BOD device characters. What I liked : No negative characters in this - which was refreshing, it is only the situations that makes it difficult.
The other users of BOD and their experience with the BOD characters was much more enjoyable than the FL's.
What I didnt like : the actual relationship was too cringe for me.. Who will hold their hands all the time while having food?
Did I enjoy binge watching the show? Yes. But is it worth the hype, No.

Perfect binge watch for the weekend
As a woman the themes in this drama hit too close at home for comfort so yes, it deserves a 10/10. The FL is scared of feelings that change in a relationship, she resorts to AI fantasy only to realise that what she wants, exists in reality but it comes with all the traps of real life.Yet she's willing to live for the moment and not let an uncertain future intimidate her. A wonderful mature romcom approach to a universal relationship dilemma: safety or life? Was this review helpful to you?
Bad
I really pushed myself through to complete it. The idea is there but was poorly executed. Acting is cold bad not fit. They tried but it did not work, the story doesn't capture you, the mains acting is a total flop, some secondary were better. I don't recommend it, especially if you are looking for cute soft romantic or the gives you butterflies type of drama.I wish they had worked the idea more and got different actors as main characters.
It gets also a little but confusing at some point.

Must Watch
Honestly, 'Boyfriend On Demand' (월간남친) is a 2026 masterpiece! Jisoo’s acting has evolved so much—her performance as Mirae is incredibly natural and moving. The dreamlike chemistry with Seo Kang-joon in Part 1 and the intense tension with Seo In-guk in Part 2 are pure gold! It’s no wonder it’s #1 on Netflix. A perfect blend of stunning visuals and heart. You HAVE to watch this! Was this review helpful to you?
A Fun Time, Didn't Quite Stick the Landing
I had fun watching it, and that's what matters a lot of time for me and shows. I loved the premise behind it, and I was so caught up in the drama of wondering how she would fall for her coworker when having such fun online dates with fictional men. It's that thing that readers dream of doing because real men kinda suck sometimes.I think it had great commentary on the idea of dating and expectations that people have for love. I ended up marking it down a bit right at the end. It was so close to being another one of my favorite shows, but I do think once you've seen it, there's not a point to rewatching it again. The ending also didn't land right for me. It felt too sudden and too clean without really addressing some of the issues that were posed in the story line. I'm not a big fan of that in rom-com spaces.
I did like how they established the FMC's drive to pick-up the service in the first place. It felt very realistic like people could just step into this world. It's totally not the point of the show, but I kinda want the Boyfriend on Demand system. Just to try it out for myself...
I definitely think it's worth a watch. I was cracking up laughing through many parts and messaging my friend about it. The key here is just not to take things too seriously, especially life.

LOVED IT!
It's fun, relatable, and many handsome guys. As Jjong said in the drama, "I wouldn't care if you had 10,000 flaws." 😍😍😍 If VR dating apps exist in real life, I'd definitely be subscribing 🤣It's fun, relatable, and many handsome guys. Chemistry is chemistrying!!
I loved this drama, did not thought that i would & that's why keptpostponing to watch. I rea;ly liked Jisoo's acting. She portrayed the girl exactly how the character demanded- clumsy, funny, introvert. Even with all the star-studded handsome cameos acting as virtual boyfriends, nothing beats the "slow-burn" awkward workplce banter with her reallife rival, ML.their chemistry is chef's kiss, so many cute moments of them. Ml loved her secretly and was very cute in finding chances to be with her.
