we are living in a lonely world

There's no shame in having an outlet to your real life world's problems, a way to relieve your stress and problems. This show has the exact vibe, somewhat even taboo and shameful. But in the end whatever works for you works for you.
It was a quite unique show and Jisoo is a great actress, hope to see her in the future again doing acting work. Also insane cast in general, the greatest actresses and actors in one show!! A great drama to unwind to on a rainy day.

Office enemies to lovers

It was light and though it had its cliche parts, I still liked it. This. is the second time I am seeing Ji Soo in a drama and I like her voice. I wont say much on the acting because I dont see any issues. Park Gyeong Nam plays that introverted character and I think they paired well.
I liked the cameos of the virtual boyfriends she was dating. Those were fun to watch.
It was surprising to see that Park Gyeong Nam liked her first....
Overall, she realized not all men are the same and she gave another chance on love and she is quite happy. Matter of fact they are quite happy at the end.

Visual is gooood

Such an eye-pleasing movie.. actors and actresses are gorgeous and the settings plot were charming, despite the slow pace story. But it’s okay I can actually bear with it and finish until the end which I dont usually good at slow pace.

Read alot about FL acting which kind of off , well I must agree but maybe it’s bc of the comedy that the movie trying to emphasize here.

Anyway Seo In Guk acting was top notch! He could play both roles perfectly! 🩵

Boyfriend on Demand hasn't met my expectations

I honestly expected something different from this series.

First of all, I found the series a bit monotonous at first: a girl's (Mi-rae) offered a free virtual reality device where she can go on dates and through this process, she meets different boys until she finds her ideal boyfriend.
To be honest, those dates didn't do anything for me; it all felt quite flat. Perhaps there were some fun or enjoyable moments, but they didn't contribute anything to the plot between the two protagonists. To be honest, I watched the first 5 chapters at 1.75x speed and still perfectly understood the plot, so those chapters could have been skipped for me, as they don't contribute anything to the plot between the two protagonists; they simply focus on Mi-rae isolated in a virtual world.

The last thing I didn't like about the series is how long it takes for the plot to include even a minimal interaction or romantic interest between the two protagonists, because, despite being a fan of slow burn, I found this plot too tedious and it was boring to wait for.

I understand that some people may have enjoyed it, but despite giving it my time and a chance, this series isn't for me.
I hope no one's offended by my review.

A Fun K-Drama to Watch! Light and Fast

I’ve seen a lot of people criticizing this K-drama, especially the acting, mostly talking about Jisoo, but honestly, I don’t think the series lacked much. For me, it was a good show with an interesting plot.

The only thing I didn’t like was that everything felt a bit rushed. I would have liked to see the female lead go on more virtual dates or see the existing ones develop further. In the end, I understand that the main message wasn’t really about the virtual game but about living real life instead of getting lost in an emotional fantasy. Still, I started the drama expecting more scenes inside the virtual world.

That said, I still enjoyed it. The female lead had more depth than I expected, and I think Jisoo did an okay job. Some people say she didn’t show enough emotion, but I actually think that was intentional. Her character wasn’t written to be overly expressive, and in the moments where emotions were needed, I think Jisoo delivered well.

I liked the male lead too, although I can’t point to anything very specific. His character felt a bit flat at times, still good, but maybe lacking depth. I think he just needed more scenes or development.

One thing I really didn’t like was the fact that the female lead’s “ideal man” in the virtual world had the same face as the male lead. I understand why the writers did that, but it still felt a bit odd to me.

Overall, it’s a cute and fast drama. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for something light and easy to watch.

JISOO Shines in the 2026 Global Hit "Boyfriend On Demand"

If you haven’t started "Boyfriend On Demand" yet, you are missing out on the biggest TV event of 2026. Dominating the #1 spot on Netflix globally for consecutive weeks, this series proves that JISOO is not just a global icon—she is a powerhouse actress.

Playing the role of Mi-rae, JISOO delivers a performance that is both incredibly natural and emotionally resonant. She effortlessly balances the comedic "chaos" of virtual dating with deeply moving, vulnerable moments that showcase her immense growth. Her chemistry with the leading men is electric; whether it’s the nostalgic, heart-fluttering scenes with Seo Kang-joon or the sophisticated, high-tension romance with Seo In-guk, JISOO anchors every episode with her undeniable charm.

With its sleek production, witty script, and JISOO’s "Visual Queen" presence, "Boyfriend On Demand" sets a new gold standard for the romantic comedy genre. It’s more than just a rom-com; it’s a masterclass in modern storytelling. A must-watch masterpiece that justifies every bit of its global hype!

Such a pleasant surprise!

Truth be told, I only watched this for Seo Kang Jun, but was I in for a treat. Just when k-dramas have been pretty disappointing of late, this one was such a refreshing change! To my surprise, I enjoyed this so much.

This is such a fun, lighthearted, and cute romance drama. I liked how simple the concept of the story is and how easy it was to follow along. The biggest thing that draws you in is the line-up of good looking men in this series! It was such a treat! I loved all the cameos and their storylines!

Jisoo is always a delight. She was perfectly cast for this role and for some reason, was very relatable in this drama. In Guk has always been a favorite as well. This drama won't win acting awards or anything of that sort but this made me smile and feel giddy a lot which is rare in recent k-drama offerings.

What is weird is that although this movie is pretty simplistic, there is an underlying societal theme and lesson that is the pulse of this show. Is AI or virtual reality replacing human relationships? Is it better? That seems to be a question this show is trying to ask and in a way, it was able to tap into some answers. I really enjoyed this one and would probably find my way into rewatching this in the future.

The Drama Overall

Boyfriend on Demand is the story of how a soft beta guy with zero game fell in love with a low-self-esteem alpha girl and managed to win her over because she created an alpha version of him in a dating simulator — and that version ended up giving her advice until she fell for the actual soft, whiny protagonist.Dude, if I found out the person I fell for had created her ideal man in a dating sim and that man turned out to be literally me, I'd drop to my knees and thank God. The guy is such a pushover that he was out here pouting the whole time. That said: I loved the drama. Solid 10/10. Seo In-guk's acting is always incredible — the man is unmatched in versatility. He's played a con artist profiler, a rich guy with amnesia, even Death itself, and now this. Absolute legend.

Its Decent Watch.

As mentioned before in my each episode reviews, this drama had huge potential.
But nonetheless, there are few places the drama shines and few where it falters.

But the question is, should I skip it or stream it? Well, I would suggest you to give it a try and watch it. You will appreciate the potential of the story. You will be impressed by Jisoo's chemistry with someone else more than the ML. Won't spoil you but give it a try.

Now after watching the finale, I felt that there were few unresolved things which were left out, hence I was feeling somewhat incomplete after watching it.

Still, if you have time, give this drama a shot.
