These films offer a blend of romance, personal challenges, and heartfelt storytelling that fans of "Love Untangled" may find appealing.
Love Untangled and Crushology 101 both have that cute, youthful coming-of-age feeling where romance, friendship and self-confidence are all mixed together. The female leads are dealing with their own insecurities while trying to understand love and relationships, and both stories show how much your friends can influence those experiences. There are also plenty of awkward moments, crushes, misunderstandings and funny situations that make the romance feel natural rather than too serious. More than anything, both have that nostalgic school/college romance vibe where it feels like you are watching young people slowly figure themselves out along with their feelings.
Love Untangled and Love Revolution have a very similar youthful and innocent romance vibe. Both are about young people figuring out their feelings while friendship remains a big part of the story. The characters can be awkward, impulsive and sometimes completely confused about love, which makes their relationships feel cute and relatable. Both also have plenty of funny moments, misunderstandings and that warm school-life atmosphere where the friend group is just as important as the romance. They both give that simple, nostalgic feeling of having a crush and slowly realizing what you actually feel for someone.
In both the movie and the drama, the FL just changes her hair. Both, are school and coming of age. In both the movie and drama, the FL falls for the popular guy. However, Zhang Ruoxi is love and TPOGUT is a highly underrated drama and a must-watch if you're craving for sweet, pure and a light-hearted show.
They are similar to the events that ML has to go abroad because their parents want them to live there, like LOVE UNTANGLE ML's father wants them to live abroad and it's the same with I AM SECRET IN YOUR HEART but ML's mother wants them to live abroad so they are separating from FL that without any notice and break-ups happened because they stopped talking and only later did they talk and they were the ending.
The plot's like, 70% same. High school setting, falling in love with a classmate in senior year, being separated because one of the characters has family stuff to deal with. I'm not sure about this but I think Yesterday Once More had an open ending (I watched it 4 years ago so I don't remember much) while Love Untangled has a happy ending.
Finally!!! A decade of waiting and searching for movies similar to my all-time favourite Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and it just went like this.
One of the reasons why I watched Love Untangled. If LU was of your taste, then "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" is just perfect for your cravings (my top-tier for this kind) and there won't be any movie that i could recommend like LU, none more than CLTCL.
OK! wont spoil any more further! u'll know when you watch CLTCL, but still, don't let your guard down pal! hehe ;)
...thank me later as you'll meet my forever favourite "first love" themed movie on your screens cause there's really nothing, like a crazy little thing called love.

Light, romantic comedies which take part is school, where female lead falls in love with handsome, popular boy (they even have kinda similar names). Later it turns out that she is loved by other boy who she doesn't seem to notice at first.
There is a very similar confession scene (where FL decorates a place and invites the boy she's interested in) in both dramas and in both one some characters love to swim as a bonus :)

Same Female Lead. Not quiet similar but may do if you can't get enough with EunSoo.

Love Untangled and Who Are You: School 2015 share the core similarity of a secret identity or switched lives, where the protagonist struggles with the ramifications of living as someone else due to circumstances or a case of mistaken identity. Both K-dramas also feature themes of school life, bullying, identity, and a love triangle, with the central conflict revolving around uncovering the truth behind the switch or deception, and a romantic subplot involving a love triangle.
