Justice Has Arrived

This was a strong opening episode that tackles some very uncomfortable topics. Watching the teachers struggle against students who seemed untouchable was frustrating, and the drama doesn’t shy away from showing how broken the system has become.
⚖️
The highlight of the episode was undoubtedly Na Hwa Jin. The moment he arrives at the school, the entire atmosphere changes. His approach is blunt, intimidating and often hilarious, but after seeing everything that happened beforehand, it was difficult not to cheer him on.
⚖️
My favourite scene was the gasoline confrontation. Rather than backing down, Na Hwa Jin forces the bully to confront the consequences of his actions and the impact they’ve had on others. It was intense and perfectly captured the drama’s focus on accountability.
⚖️
What surprised me most was the balance between serious social commentary and comedy. One minute I was horrified by what was happening, and the next I was laughing because someone had been slapped into next week.
⚖️
The drama gave me strong Taxi Driver vibes, with wrongdoers being forced to face justice when the system fails. If the rest of the series maintains this level of intensity, I’m definitely in for the ride.
⚖️
Favourite Character: Na Hwa Jin
Favourite Scene: The gasoline confrontation
Current Verdict: A powerful and engaging first episode that immediately hooked me.

Justice the FAFO way

The only way toxic bullies will learn a lesson is extreme measures. ROK leads the way with suicide rates. Every citizen over there should be watching this show. When someone is trying to kill you, you should protect yourself. TBH though, the last 5 minutes of Ep 1 i cried tears for the painful effects of those being bullied. good job, Netflix.

A plague indeed

The best thing about Na Hwajin is that he doesn't bend to power and money. He has his goal and he aims for it. 👏 I am pretty sure the teacher who was killed all those years ago was the founder's child, and this is him delivering justice for that. ✊The first few minutes were particularly hard to watch with everything those kids had to go through. 😣💔 The payback on the bullies, and even better, the main bully's father's downfall, was very satisfying to see. The saddest part of this is probably that the story is actually based on a real one. Bullying at schools nowadays is indeed like a plague... a perfect description on Na Hwajin's part. 😟🧐The show looks really good and worth checking out, even if the topic can be difficult for some. 🫣

Is this justice?

I kept delaying this cause of the violence I saw in the trailer. I have a hard time watching it especially when the weak are bullied. I would not justify what the inspector did to the bullies, yet it might be effective to let them taste their own medicine. there are two types of abusers 1. the active one - the one who does the bullying, who is violent towards his victim2. the passive one - those who kept silent for fear, so that they won't get hurt when actually their silence enabled the active abuser more.No matter how bad the bully is, I cannot justify the use of violence against them. But if the system is failing the victims, surely there will be some who will resort to violence to get back at the bullies. This is a sad reality

Legendary Episode 1

An Unforgettable Journey of Emotion and IntensityWhat an exhilarating start to a rollercoaster of a series! Teach You a Lesson kicks off with a bang, setting a tone that’s both wildly stimulating and profoundly satisfying. This episode elevates the entire experience to new heights of brilliance — raw, emotional, and uncomfortably real, yet undeniably necessary.Kudos to the incredible cast, especially Lee Seung Gyu, whose portrayal of the bully character is nothing short of magnificent. His performance is layered, intense, and utterly convincing — truly deserving of every accolade out there. This series has already proven to be a masterclass in storytelling, blending emotional depth with gripping drama. I’m utterly captivated and cannot wait to see where this journey takes us next. Give these talented actors all the awards they deserve — they’ve earned it!
