Who’s Top Dog Now?

Episode 2 built on the strong start from the premiere while giving us a better understanding of why Na Hwa Jin is so passionate about protecting both teachers and students.

The central conflict focused on students fighting and taking beatings just to gain recognition from the so-called “top dog.” What made it satisfying was watching that same person completely crumble when confronted by Na Hwa Jin. All that reputation and power suddenly meant very little.

My favourite scene was easily the car ride with the two troublemakers. Watching them realise they weren’t in control of the situation anymore was both hilarious and incredibly satisfying.

The biggest revelation of the episode was learning that the teacher who was stabbed two years ago is actually Na Hwa Jin’s wife. It adds a lot more weight to his actions and helps explain why he refuses to stand by when teachers or students are being failed by the system.

The drama continues to balance serious themes with moments of humour surprisingly well. It still gives me strong Taxi Driver vibes, with people abusing their power eventually being forced to face the consequences.

Favourite Character: Na Hwa Jin
Favourite Scene: The brake-failure car ride
Current Verdict: Another strong episode. The emotional stakes are growing, and I’m even more invested in Na Hwa Jin’s story.

I am really wondering does this kond of school…

I am really wondering does this kond of school really exist in Korea in real life? Like is a school or college? Even its a college if this kind of things really exist it's really a problem.

The teaching continues

Schools like that are almost like a warzone! And, of course, Hwajin shone with his educational methods once again. 😂👏It was nice to see another agent of their bureau, and I am very happy the boy who actually wanted to study could do so in the end. He was so sweet, caring and genuine. It was terrible what he had to go through there just to survive, and his life situation wouldn't let him choose another one. 🥺💔I guess the dead teacher was not only the founder's daughter, but also Hwajin's loved one—his wife or girlfriend. 😔 No wonder they both are so determined to "cleanse the plague" from the schools. 🔥

just amazingg!!

by far my favorite episode in the entire show. the kids in this episode weren't really bad people, they simply needed guidance. they're one of the only groups of kids that made a reappearance later on the show (in ep 4) and we actually get to see the outcome of hwa-jin's discipline methods. episode was hilarious, loved all the characters. will definitely miss this!!
