So cliché but so cute
June 5, 2026Duang With You is some cliche romance final boss Thai BL. I am not sure what kind of condition possessed Duang because he is so hilarious. It does not even feel like a drama, it feels like I am watching a sit-com every time he pulls his random antics. I genuinely do think that Duang and Qin is just TeeTee and Por in real life.
Their chemistry is amazing hence why I can see why the ratings for this series is so high. Though, I must say, the plot is doable to watch but it took me a while to finish it. Not gonna lie, I do think the ratings are heavily influenced by the casts rather than the plot. Regardless, it is a cute show to watch and good dose of comedy injected into your veins.

ADORKABLE CHAOS AND QUIET HEALING
Duang is a decorative arts student who is loud, clumsy, and unapologetically honest about his feelings. He falls for Qin, a jazz student who is famously 'icy' and rejects everyone. Instead of backing down when he's not immediately accepted, Duang tells Qin he isn't asking for permission; he's just letting him know he's going to win him over.TeeTee playing a character as high-energy as Duang can easily become annoying, but TeeTee gives him a vulnerability that makes you root for him. His 'adorkable' energy is balanced by a deep empathy. Por plays Qin with incredible subtlety. He doesn't stay cold for the sake of the trope; you slowly realize his walls are a 'survival language' from his past. Seeing him 'glow' once he lets Duang in is one of the most satisfying character arcs of the year.
Furthermore, while the show uses playful sound effects and physical comedy, it doesn't shy away from themes of PTSD and the courage it takes to be sincere in a world that often rewards being guarded. For a rom-com, the cinematography is gorgeous, with soft palettes, and a soundtrack that features the leads (from their group DEXX) makes it feel very polished.
In conclusion, Duang with You is a 'sugar rush to the heart.' If you want a drama that is silly enough to make you laugh out loud but sincere enough to make you tear up, this is it.

fora que a dinâmica dele com o qin é perfeitissima !!!!

obedece super ele igualzinho um cachorrinho mesmo (pq ele real real gosta MUITO do qin)
e old q o qin adora isso e adora mandar nele
e eu amei q eles sao real perfeitos e parecem um casal mesmo
vivem dando beijinho e cheirinho um no outro, vivem agarrados, dormem juntos, saem juntos, conheceram a família um do outro, viajaram juntos, fazem bastante sexo (as cenas sao bbd), adotaram um cachorro, conversam sempre etc etc
é surreal a química deles de vdd
e aqui funciona perfeitamente o casal não correr risco real de se separar pq eles são do tipo q estão dispostos a conversarem e resolverem qualquer mal entendido ou falta de comunicação pq eles real se gostam mt e não tem nada interferindo esse sentimento
o qin tem a história mais complicada aqui né e eu adorei ele se abrindo pro duang gradativamente conforme os eps iam passando
o duang realmente veio pra somar na vida dele é mt bonito
enfm vou dizer só isso pq se deixar eu poderia falar bastante sobre eles pq a dinâmica e a química desse casal em agradou muiitooooooooo
vou falar outras coisas
▪︎acho que a história seria melhor se desenvolvesse mais os outros personagens também (não os pais, o tempo de tela deles pra mim foi ok)
▪︎ justamente pelo ponto acima eu não curti mt o casal secundário (pulei quase todas as cenas pq além da história deles não ter me prendido eu achei eles meio sem química)
▪︎ também por causa disso o grupo de amigos do duang é mais interessante q o do qin (eles são super engraçados sério)
▪︎a parte do ex é meio pá também meio confusa mas ainda bem q isso não durou mt e nao atrapalhou o casal principal🙏
▪︎isso é mais uma coisa q eu gostaria de ver mas vou falar mesmo assim, acho q seria melhor ainda se o duang fosse autista canon e isso fosse explícito na série (mas talvez seja melhor assim mesmo pq pode ser q não soubessem trabalhar com isso e cagassem tudo né)

adorei as músicas e gostei do final também com o show da banda ficou bem legal pq normalmente essas cenas de shows ficam meio ruins mas aqui foi tao lehal q fui até ouvir a banda no spotify

theres no way this is rated 13+ I thought the scene was going to end but It just keeps going. like even in other BL's the scene normally ends by the time they kiss but they didnt stop💔 Anyways this was a great show, I loved Duang's personality but not to down play Qin's trauma or anything but seriously like the writers couldn't think of ANYTHING more traumatizing? I understand how something like that would affect Qin's personality but like the fact they made it such a big deal like Qin has to genuinely learn to let go of some memories, Aint no way they made him "let go of his younger selfs hand" like it was such a big thing to let go of im dead. Anyways great show, amazing acting though and also the music is fire but personally I wouldn't rewatch it as I felt the show just dragged along and I just felt so bored.Was this review helpful to you?
A familiar plot, beautifully packaged.
Nothing new in the story, characters, and the scenes. It is highly predictable; you can see the next scene, and sometimes even the dialogues, from a few hundred miles away!It is not at all a bad series, just an incredibly familiar one. Still, it is worth watching (If you want familiar cozy story) and the opening credit is top notch!

Not bad, but, not that good either.
I know not to trust the high ratings on MDL and yet I fall for it every single time. I guess I thought that because this is a new pairing the reviews wouldn't be biased and I am not judging people's preferences here I'm really not, but a 9.1 rating for this is a bit much.There is nothing new or exciting to this plot, just an average University BL that follows pretty much the standard script. Both mains are extremely unlikeable, Duang is annoying and Quin is rude, obnoxious, cold, jealous and insecure for absolutely no reason, the side characters are not so bad but they are barely in the story,they're just there for the sake of being there mostly. I did laugh a lot at the first couple of episodes, despite Duang's childishness, the actor is so cute that I was willing to put up with it, but it's way too much the episodes are long and nothing interesting happens, nothing. I wanted to finish it mostly to see if there is a logical explanation for why Quin is so awful, but I don't care anymore, my guess is neglectful parents and maybe physical abuse 🤷♀️ which really sucks but still...
I am dropping this, it's just not for me.

For me, the main issue is the tone and pacing. Duang With U leans really heavily into soft, slow-burn interactions, which can feel kind of dragged out if you’re used to more intense or dramatic BLs. The chemistry is there, but it’s subtle—almost too subtle—so it doesn’t hit as strongly emotionally compared to shows with more obvious tension or stakes.Another thing is the storyline. It’s pretty light and slice-of-life, which isn’t bad, but it can feel like not much is actually happening. If you like plots with conflict, twists, or possessive/obsessive dynamics (like the kind you’ve liked before), this one might feel kind of flat or low-energy.

This series will never disappoint you
I don’t think words will ever be enough to fully capture how much I love this series. I’ll always be grateful for that random moment—like fate, honestly, when I came across that one DuangQin clip from the pilot episode. That single video was enough to pull me in, to make me want to start something I didn’t even expect much from at first. The storyline wasn’t exactly new or groundbreaking, but maybe it was my situation back then—as an elementary practice teacher, tired and searching for something comforting, that made this series hit differently. I needed something warm, something that could quietly stay with me, and DWY became exactly that.When the first episode dropped, I watched it immediately. And believe it or not, no BL series has ever hooked me within the first ten minutes of the very first episode—until this one. There was something so genuine, so effortlessly engaging, that I couldn’t look away.
I honestly think a huge part of this series’ success comes from how perfectly they cast the characters. Teetee as Duang… I genuinely cannot imagine anyone else who could portray him the way he did. The same goes for Por as Qin. They didn’t just act the roles, they 'became' them. Their acting feels so natural, so sincere, that even their most intimate scenes never felt forced or exaggerated. It was subtle, soft, and real—just *chef’s kiss*
Beyond that, everything else fell perfectly into place. The character development was carefully built, the pacing never rushed nor dragged, and the attention to detail was incredibly consistent. Even the parallels woven throughout the story added depth in such a quiet but powerful way. It’s rare to find a series where everything aligns so well—but this one did.
And that’s why, for me, it’s not just a series. It’s something I’ll carry with me for a long time.

IT'S THE MOST PERFECT AND CUTE SERIES ON THE PLANET❤️?❤️?❤️?
Everything in this series is amazing, the acting, cast, the songs, couples, characters, everything is wonderful, if you want a cute and romantic series it's this one, Duang is a love and the way he treats is wait Qin is simply beautiful, there's no hurry, it's in Qin's time. The sound effects of this series are splendid and very cute!! I almost lack words to describe the magnitude of the perfection that this series is. The friendship between Duang, Pae and Jamie is beautiful and very comforting, I say the same to Qin and his friends, this series is the series of my life, the reason for my living. The way Qin "gives in" to Duang is falling in love more and more it's wonderful, he realizes how charismatic, attentive and careful Duang is, he smiles silly sometimes this is beautiful my god😭 I will never have another series like this, the way they show affection, affection is very natural and unique, I will never see this in another BL, they in addition to being a couple are friends, partners and understand each other perfectly Teetee and Por were made for each other, not to mention the performance of Wave and North that was very good the two are very funny and everyone in this series fits perfectly in these roles and as if they were playing themselves. A DRAMA THAT'S REFRESHING IN ITS CUTEST FORM
After a long time, I have witnessed such an energetic and refreshing series loaded with cuteness.The way the script is set up is very different from the usual school BL dramas. At first, I was a little disappointed with the character "Qinn" because he kept pushing "Duang" away. But as the episodes went on, it became clear why Qinn was acting the way he was: his painful past was keeping him from letting anyone into his heart. "It is often in the darkest skies that we see the brightest stars," says the saying. "Duang" also comes into "Qinn's" life as a sun and brings him back to the light, leading them on a happy and beautiful life journey.
When it comes to acting, all of the actors in the series do a good job. TeeTee's natural, happy, and bubbly acting steals the show from beginning to end. I feel like "Duang" is the oxygen of this drama, and it always reminds me that we all need a friend like "Duang" who will always be there for us and be loyal, respectful, and happy. Without a doubt, Por's acting is just as good as TeeTee's. The supporting characters were great, especially the "friend zone" of the main characters. Finally, I want to say a few words about the character "Duang's mother." She is the cutest mother I've seen in any of the BL shows I've watched so far. She does a great job of playing the part!
For me, "Duang with You" isn't a series; it's a tonic that made my Saturdays lively and refreshing for two and a half months. I'm going to miss "Duang" so much! But, I'm looking forward to TeePor's next together.

Beautiful
The love they give is so beautiful. I found it funny and cute. I laughed and cried. Tee and Por did a great job. Hoping to see more of them together. I loved all episodes. The friends on both sides were wonderful. When it comes to the parents of Qin they should have done better for him when it came to the nanny abusing him. Glad to see him confront them on his feeling. Best BL Series on 2026 so far...
This show was just *chef's kiss*. I honestly don't know what I am going to do without TeeTeePor on my Saturday agenda. They brought life to DuangQin and you can see the love they have for not just their characters but each other. They are a great pairing and I cannot wait to see more of them in future series!(I cannot believe how much I cried throughout this whole series, which in my case? Is the best sign of a GREAT series.)
