Can you find me?

I didn't think I was going to like this, but I actually enjoyed it a lot. I think TeeTee and Por did a really good job, and I would definitely recommend this show. I would give it an 8.75 (8.5) out of 10, and I am going to say what I liked, what I disliked, and then an episode overview (but no matter what, give this show a shot).

My likes: North. That was one of my first positive comments about this show. North is genuinely one of the sexiest men this world has ever seen. Everything about him is just so perfect, and he doesn't get enough love, I swear. This show is really fun. It's fun in this weird way I can't really explain, but I lowkey love it. I think Domundi has a track record of terrible romance building (ie, Your Sky and Khemjira). And I love Khemjira, but it's very plot-heavy, and the romance sucks, and your sky is just no plot, and the romance sucks, but this was different. Duang with yous only plot is the romance bit (the same with your sky but they fucked that up), and they did this great. The characters felt real, embracing, and well human which I really enjoyed. They took their relationship slowly, and Duang waited for Qin and Qin made sure his feelings for Duang were actually real. Duang had a cringey but realistic chasing scene. Because all the time in Thai dramas, they fall immediately, and this was not the case. QIN DID NOT LIKE HIM AT ALL. But with time, they started to work through their emotions in this fun and imperfect way. It was lowkey awesome, and that's why I liked this dumb show so much. Something clicked in episode 3, and it might have been Por in that skinnylicious shirt, but suddenly the show got really good lmao. They were cringe, but they were free lmao. This show is so fucking whimsical lmao. I liked the details of their apartments; it made them feel more real. They had so many cute moments I fucking lmao them. Qin is lowkey a young ho and I love him for that. ALL OF THE "NC SCENES," THE EYE CONTACT, THE SHOWERING, THE SHIRTLESSNESS, YES, 100 TIMES YES. I am not gonna sit here and pretend to be a woker, I rewatched those scenes so many fucking times, and I will never stop because I love scenes like that. They took their time with that, and they didnt feel random, BECAUSE WE KNOW HOW TO SET THE FUCKING MOOD HOLY SHIT. Lowkey so well done, I am so proud of them (besides the kissing we can't kiss, but that's fine, I guess). The lore with the parents was nice. I do think that the whole babysitter thing was BS, but like that happens a lot irl, and what Duang's parents did happens a lot too, so that was nice to see. TeeTee and Por's acting and chemistry in this really brought it to life, and I hope they have at least one more show together because they are both really good. The one song I liked was You're My Cup of Tea, they just need to teach him how to pronounce English words. Qin talking to his parents was lowkey good, but Pors acting was lowkey bad, but then I felt myself about to cry, so he ate or whatevera. The full circle moment at the end was nice, a nice way to end the show. And that's all I liked (I will be rewatching again for the 2nd time).

There isn't a lot of stuff I didn't like because I thought this show was good, but there is still some. The first couple of episodes were lowkey hot, confusing ass. It was very choppy, so I think that they could have written that part out better. Also, this show is beyond cringe, and it is mostly in a good way, but at the start, it was a lowkey in a bad way because Duang's crush felt very superficial, and we were just kind of dropped in here without a lot of backing, and then the first 3 episodes didn't help this whatsoever. The weird dancing plot at the start was so fucking bullshit and so random because why is a decorative arts major and a jazz major dancing together in a competition? That makes actually zero sense, and the reason they gave was bullshit. They were running circles around each other a bit because of the slow burn, but they get through it. The novel is so boring lmao, not anything on the show, the show is fucking great, but I couldn't get through the novel. THE DANCE SCENE, Fuck no, I was not messing with that. ("FREEZEEE HELLOOOO??? FREEZE DANCE BREAK. THEY ARE IN THE WALLS, THEY ARE IN THE WALLS. OH I'M NOT HUNGRY, OH I'M NOT HUNGRY. PREESES AT WHAT COST?"). It felt very random and rushed, and just like they were trying to come up with a BS filler plot. Okay, my thoughts on the second couple are lowkey negative, because of the English parts. They weren't cute, they werent fun, it was just so god damn cringe my lord. Also, if you have a second couple, they need more screen time. I am being because I have no reason to care about them. I love North. He did great in this. Otto's eyes are lowkey very far apart, and the makeup they did on him made it worse, but he's cool too, but holy, sexualized. Like it was fine in some moments, and then in others, it just felt like poor character writing. I just wish they paced them out better; that's my main thing. We had a problem with having so much happening at the start of episodes, and then they die down to absolute nothing, and I think they needed to find some kind of middle ground. The whole asking to be his boyfriend episode felt very rushed, and I wish they did that a little better, but the ending was good (I beat my shit or whatevera). RANDOM JAPAN TRIP, we could have alluded to that more, because that felt so random. ALL THAT DAMN SINGING, GIRL BYE. LIKE I KNOW WE ARE JAZZ MAJOR BUT SHUT UP. We wasted the final 20 minutes of the show, and I think that we could have written that out and done that better, because that was just annoying, the dancing to a band I don't know, when we could have like, held hands outside or kissed or something. I just needed more. Okay, that's it for what I didn't like

My episode thoughts, yay! "I want to mother every last one of North's babies, he's so fucking handsome." "This kind of reminds me of secret crush on you in a good way." "We love this but hate secret crush on you, right i see how it is. DUANG CANT HANDLE ALL OF THAT, I CAN BABY I SO CAN, HE LOOK SO SEXY IN THAT SKINNYLICIOUS SHIRT, I CAN HANDLE ALL OF THATTTTTT." "Duang kick this guy's ass. Duang bend it over and make it clap." "HE LOOKS LIKE 3 PPL STACK ON EACH OTHER IN LIKE A TRENCH COAT LMAOO." "I dont know if teetee stopped taking thirst trap photos and locked in, but we have carried por twice in 5 minutes lmao." " TeeTee's hair pushed back got me acting and feeling brand new. POR HAS A LADY KILLER SMILE BC I HAVE BEEN KILLED OH MY GOD. QIN HOLDING HIS ARM AS THEY WALK IN THE RAIN, I WILL NEVER BE OKAYYY. DUANG QIN SO CUTE WITH THEIR COLLEGE ROMANCE, I'M PRAYING ON THEIR DOWNFALL. I am no better than a man bc aint nobody looking at that dog, i was looking at pors legs. like a dirty perv. QIN STAND UP. STOP TRYING TO SEDUCE HIM TO LET THE DOG SLEEP WITH YALL. 4th wall break from thee. DONT MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH US. I am a slut for a good full circle moment. NIGGGGAAAAAA I WILL NEVER BE OKAY OH MY GOD. HELP NIGGA, WHAT? QINNNN A P I M PPPPP BUT DID 50 FUCKING SAYYYY? IM GONNA MISS THEM SO MUCH."

This show was good, I am just a nitpicky hater. I would recommend this 100 percent, and dont let anyone tell you this show is bad. It is so much fucking fun. Okay bye!

Soft Chaos in Love Form

Let me start off by saying I genuinely enjoyed Duang with You. Waiting for it to finish before binge watching was the right move because I know for a fact I would not have survived the weekly wait. This is the kind of drama that works best when consumed in one go, where the fluff, cringe, and emotional beats flow continuously without interruption.

At its core, Duang with You feels like a toned down, more PG13 version of Secret Crush on You, and that comparison never really left my mind while watching. Duang and Toh share the same DNA as characters, awkward, deeply in love, a little too much at times, but still endearing. And I say that as someone who really enjoyed Secret Crush on You. So naturally, I found myself comparing the two, and while Duang with You delivers in many aspects, it doesn’t quite reach the same level for me.

A big reason why I was excited for this project was Tee and Por. After seeing them in Your Sky, I already felt like they had potential. Por especially stands out immediately with his visuals. He has that kind of face that draws attention even if he’s not doing much. Tee, on the other hand, has a naturally light and warm presence that makes him easy to watch. So when they were announced as leads, it felt like a well deserved opportunity for both of them.

Starting with Tee as Duang, I’ll say this directly, Duang needed more cringe. And I mean that in the best way possible. The character thrives on being over the top, borderline uncomfortable, and that’s what makes him memorable. Tee did well, he made Duang cute, awkward, and lovable, but there were moments where it felt like he held back. Some of his movements came off a bit forced, which makes sense given the nature of the character, but it didn’t always translate naturally on screen. That said, he still managed to balance the comedy and sincerity of Duang. And interestingly, when he drops the high pitched tone and changes his styling a bit, you can actually see his potential for more mature or even dominant roles. That range is there, it just needs the right project.

Por as Qin is a different case. Let’s be honest, his visuals carried a huge part of his presence in this drama. He has that quiet, slightly intimidating aura that fits Qin’s character well. His performance in lighter and romantic scenes worked, and you could feel the chemistry between him and Tee. However, when it came to heavier emotional scenes, there’s still room for growth. The foundation is there, but the emotional delivery could be more layered. Still, for a major role, this is a solid showing and something he can definitely build on.

The storyline itself follows a very familiar formula. Someone falls for a person they think is out of their league, puts in the effort, gets closer, and eventually develops a deeper connection. It’s not new, and it doesn’t try to be. But that simplicity works in its favor. It knows exactly what kind of story it wants to tell and sticks to it. If you go in expecting something light, fluffy, and easy to digest, it delivers.

The intimate scenes are quite present throughout the series, and they were done well. They didn’t feel out of place and were used to develop the relationship between Duang and Qin. Personally though, I found myself enjoying their kissing scenes more than the heavier intimate moments. The kisses felt more genuine and emotionally driven, while the other scenes leaned more on physicality.

The supporting cast is another strong point. Duang and Qin’s friend group added a lot of charm and balance to the story. They made the world feel more alive and contributed to both the comedic and emotional aspects of the drama. I also appreciated that the story didn’t heavily rely on the usual “non-accepting family” trope. It’s refreshing to see a BL that doesn’t center conflict around that, especially when it’s already been overused.

Qin’s internal struggles, tied to his childhood and family, were introduced well and had real potential to add depth to the story. However, the way it was resolved felt a bit underwhelming. It’s one of those moments where you can see what they were trying to do, but the execution didn’t fully match the build up.

The introduction of Tiw was another interesting element. Initially, it seemed like this would create a more intense conflict for both Duang and Qin, but it was resolved rather quickly. While part of me wanted a more drawn out tension, I also didn’t mind the quicker resolution. It kept the story from becoming unnecessarily dramatic, even if it reduced the overall impact.

One thing I have to highlight is the pairing itself. Tee and Por have something that works. Their chemistry is believable, and there’s a natural dynamic between them that makes their scenes enjoyable. Their management should really invest in building this pairing further because they have potential, not just in dramas but even beyond that, especially considering they’re part of DEXX. Strong pairings are hard to come by, and this is one worth developing.

On the technical side, Thai BLs continue to improve, and this drama shows that progress. The cinematography is clean, polished, and visually pleasing. It’s getting closer to the level you’d expect from Korean productions. Combined with a solid OST, the overall viewing experience becomes even more enjoyable.

At the end of the day, Duang with You knows exactly what it wants to be. It’s not trying to be groundbreaking or emotionally heavy. It’s here to be fun, a little cringey, romantic, and easy to consume. And it succeeds at that. It just plays things a bit too safe when it had the chance to stand out more. I do hope Tee and Por get more opportunities in the future, especially in projects that challenge them more and allow them to grow as actors. The potential is clearly there.

Not the Best But Still Good... And Supposed To Be Cringe.

I just finished this series and I must say, as I was someone expected nothing, I got more that what I was looking for. which is nothing lmao. After I finished watching, I came here to read some of the reviews and oof it was hard. So it was tough to write this review and I am new to this so please bear with me and hear what I say.

Duang With You started very head-strong on to the viewers eyes with its very "vibrant" and "goofy" protagonist chasing his love-at-first-sight crush. And the crush who is "cold" and "distant" is not giving a fuck about his supposed chaser until things change at some point. I wanna say I don't want to give out much of the story but thats pretty much it. The script is very empty and poorly written. The main love story is just a classic college love chasing story and the side couple is even less interesting than that that I won't even bother to mention it.

It is a very cliche story, but I must say this time not in a bad way. I saw some poeple saying this series is so cringe and hard to watch. I totally get that but the whole point of this series is to be cringe and goofy. It is funny and one of the leads acts very cringe but thats how it's supposed to be for this series. Thats just it. Judging this series based solely on that is not okay for me. If you find this dosage of cringe uncomfortable, (and believe me if I did not and even my cringe bar is very low) you really are in the wrong series. Because that would mean you didn't get what's the whole point and therefore no need for you to waste your time any longer.

Duang is a very cringe and "dog-like" character that acts very cringy and irritating sometimes. But I don't know why, I felt his cringe level acceptable. The actor TeeTee did such a good job that the cringe level of his character never exceeds to the uncomfortable zone for me. His goofiness made me laugh once or twice. Qin is the "opposite" of Duang. He is "Cold" and "Distant" that I didn't surprised to see his character written like this since this show, again, has a very cliche story. Nevertheless, there are some things the Story/Acting did right about these characters. I used "dog-like" phrase while describing Duang which is not something we see usually see in a typical love stories like this. Normally we would see a "golden retriever boyfriend" archetype but this series wanted to change and perhaps go beyond that and made Duang act 'unnatural'. I find this bold move very enjoyable not gonna lie. And Qin is ,like I said, "Cold and Distant" which made him look like unapproachable and kinda selfish/narcicistic but in its core, he is just a boy who wants to take things slowly (he says this himself) and I saw some people find him "obnoxious" bc of he's quiet and him not being open towards Duang immediately considered he's treating Duang bad. When I read that I was like "????" But hey you do you babes. One thing to mention about Qin though is that the writers attempt to justify Qin's "emotionless behaviour" was a very bad decision. Choosing an abuse plot trope and not going on about this damages this series highly. I've had my share about being abused and one thing I know is that it shouldn't be treated lightly. They either should've talked about this more open and direct and show its consequences or they should've not mention it at all. The way it's handled in the series is just not acceptable for me and it was rather triggering to watch.

Qin and Duang together was fun to watch for me. Their relationship grew slow but very steadily that I am glad they did not rush it. Now I know a lot of people will disagree with me on this. But I believe this series ,and so many other BLs, are a slice of life stories that are happens in Utopian world. Yes it is unrealistic, yes this relationship is bullshit and cringe but we got so many realistic and serious films/series that talks about the hardships of life, difficulties being a queer and maintaining a relationship in those environments that we don't need to be reminded again. Life itself remind us that every second. So let this story be unrealistic and utopic and silly and mindblowing because in truth, there is no such thing like this. I know you guys will say this is escapisim and I say yeah it is and let it be one. We need more of these especially for people who are not be able to be themselves in their own society.

Music in this series was top-notch. I didn't know Por and TeeTee was a part of a t-group but after I watch them perform here, I felt like Domundi is trying to create another "NuNew" phenomenon. even some reactional sounds were cute which normally they use stock sounds. Production quality was also very good. all of the places, props, clothes were well chosen. Unfortunately tho Domundi being Domundi, all the ads that are forced on to us was very irritating to watch. Even I got uncomfortable about this which I normally just skip those scenes but this time there were too many.

I think that's all I wanna say about this series. Since I just finished watching this, my emotions is still raw and they might change in the feature when I will have more time to think about it. Let me know what you guys thought about it too I'd love to talk about it with all of you.

The stupidest lovable man you'll ever see

Plot 🗯️🗯️
Our golden retriever protagonist duang one day locks eye with the misterious qin and decides to win his heart no matter what.
On the other hand qin looks really cold and distant. Will he fall into duang's love trap?

This drama is the cutest shit you'll ever see. Duang is the quintessential golden retriever boy. He is lovable, funny, cute and unbearably cringe. He is also very stupid but with a heart of gold. Just watching the drama to see his shanenigans on screen Is worth it.

On the other hand with have qin which is the classical cold, cool guy. He is a musician and a very popular student among his peers.
Even though they are a stereotypical pair they work quite well together and complement each other.

The drama🗯️🗯️
The show starts on a very silly note but it gets way more emotional towards the end. I didn't expect to find such depth in something that appeared so shallow and just fun to watch.
Duang pursuit of qin is a blast to watch but seeing how they are able to really understand each other and support each other was wonderful and even touching sometimes.
They start by just locking eyes (sort of) but end up in a very profound relationship that brings them to heal past wounds.

Stuff I did like✅
Duang: I just love him. His character is fun, cute, lovely, caring. I could go on and on, but the best part is definitely the actor! He is really talented, switching from playful to deeply moving. I was amazed.

Duang's friends group: they are a very important part of duang's life and over all lovely characters. They supportive, caring. Something you wish to have in real life.

Qin's back story: I really like that the show explored why qin is the way he is. It added depth to his "cool" persona.

Stuff I didn't like❌
Qin: as much as I loved duang's actor, I cannot say the same for qin. I am definitely not a fan of this actor. At the very beginning he basically looks like a dihydrate fish always keeping his mouth open and looking lost. Later on his acting gets better, but especially in emotional scenes I felt he lacked the skills to be honest.

Lack of other stories: I don't know why, but the drama tries to insert Jamie's love story. To be honest I didn't care about that dynamics. It felt boring and unnecessary especially because no other characters get explored on any level.
If you want to insert another dynamic just do it right.

Duang's backstory: as much as I loved this character, duang doesn't exist outside of qin or his friends dynamics. He has no backstory, struggles or ambitions outside of qin. He is the main protagonist but also works as the comic relief. I wished they gave more depth to him.

Last episode: felt totally unnecessary. I loved how sweet they were to each other during the whole drama but reaching the end, I couldn't take anymore "I love you so much, I'll never leave etc". They just added random stuff like the dog or the last concert. For me, they could have ended things before their trip to Japan. There weren't any loose threads that needed to be pulled.

In conclusion:
I highly recommend this drama if you are looking for cute stuff and some emotional moments.

I've never been happier that I was wrong about a series

Needless to say, if you choose to approach this series with a lens focused on 'what-you-see-is-what-you-get' characters with a plot-driven narrative, take a step back and adjust before continuing on. This series isn't intense, overdramatic, or overly romanticized. It's an extremely 'human' story with flawed characters learning to navigate life together.

Before I get into more detail, I'm going to be honest - this one was actually pretty difficult for me to get into at first. I'm not the biggest fan of the trope where one character, seemingly childish by nature, is obsessed or a fan of the stoic unemotional one. Admittedly, I assumed that these characters were ONLY that - 2-dimensional and used as devices to play up the comedy and nothing more. However, with everyone raving about it, I decided to rewatch the first few episodes along with a few reactors I adore to get additional perspectives. As more episodes came out, I found myself pleasantly surprised by the characters' natural growth towards each other within their relationship. And as we learned more about the characters, I began to see that the "hollow" personalities I judged them for were, in fact, deep reflections of their inner wounds and anxieties. What I thought was going to be mindless slop ended up be subject to one of my favorite character studies this year.

QIN'S TRAUMA --

Okay, here's where my headspace was at the start - I have become so desensitized to the BL-series trope where they make it known Episode 1 that the main character, typically the 'sunshine' character has trauma, and that inadvertently leads the emotionally-stoic character to begin to have feelings for them. So I just assumed that Duang was going to be the character with the trauma. However, the writers and Por did such a great job at naturally sprinkling in little hints of Qin's trauma affecting his everyday life, that I almost didn't even notice. Once we witnessed his first 'flashback', I paused the episode and found myself rethinking everything I thought I knew about his character. I remember saying out loud "Ohhhhh. Wait. This makes sense. I was so wrong."

I'm not sure if other people also felt this way, but I feel like the writers intentionally had us learn about Qin's traumas and fears whenever Duang learned about them: naturally and honestly. Childhood trauma seeps into our everyday life, subconsciously controlling every decision, confrontation, and defense mechanism we have. Even though we didn't know exactly what Qin experienced until later in the series, it allowed us into his mind for a split second as he experienced a trigger. This completely changed how I looked at Qin's character in the following episodes. I analyzed everything he did through the lens of someone deeply wounded and deeply guarded. Por did such a great job portraying the layers of a character that cannot express how he feels to those around him - you can even see Qin's physical response to wanting to tell Duang how he feels but is too deeply afraid to feel anything at all to tell him. It was such a phenomenal and accurate depiction of trauma in the everyday life. Well done writers and well done Por.

DUANG --

I also assumed this character was 2-dimensional going into the series. I'm so happy I was wrong. Duang is one of the best examples of trope-diversion where the 'sunshine' character is NOT a naive/innocent damsel in distress needing protection, but instead is so emotionally grounded that he provides the security needed for Qin to open up. Yes, Duang may feel everything 10x more than everyone else and may come across immature (which, I admit, I judged him unfairly to be early on), when, in fact, he's the most emotionally intelligent character on the show. While his crush on Qin started out semi-obsessive, it turned into care and the desire to take care of him. Duang, while often over-the-top around Qin, understood the importance of restraint and when to hold back to allow Qin room to express himself as well. Some of my favorite moments were when Duang could tell when Qin needed someone soft spoken and calm to listen to him and create a safe space for him to feel emotions he wasn't comfortable with expressing yet. He anticipates Qin's needs and meets him where he's at rather than expecting him to fulfill some idea of what a perfect boyfriend should be.

Watching the last few episodes, I found myself tearing up at the sheer care and patience they have for each other, and I'm honestly in awe at how much Duang helped Qin become a better version of himself. It's incredibly heartwarming and makes their relationship 100% believable.

And I need to applaud TeeTee for a sec (since a lot of this review is focused on Por); he did an AMAZING job at showing these two sides of Duang while still making it feel like both are Duang, which is hard to do. I think the trick that he really leaned into was to make Duang so unbelievably earnest that it makes EVERY aspect of his personality that much more believable. I don't think many actors could pull off a character with equal parts stimming chaos and equal parts emotionally calming.

QIN'S PARENTS --

Okay, touchy subject here that many may not agree with, but I think these are some of the most realistic parents portrayed in a BL so far. Let me explain. I feel like in BL's parents are either amazing, perfect, and kind parents OR unsupportive or emotionally/physically abusive. Here, they're loving, but human. We can tell they love Qin, but they also have deep-rooted guilt and a LOT of shame surrounding what happened to Qin as a child, ultimately leading to Qin's emotional neglect. While I don’t agree with their choices, I get it. Sometimes, out of fear and shame, we hide traumatic memories in an effort to not feel them again or hurt the ones we love. HOWEVER, this only strengthens whatever pain the affected parties feel. Even the scene where Qin finally confronts his parents felt so accurate. They didn't get it at first, and you could see the instinctive push-back they had towards Qin calling them out. Their deflection was out of a place of deep shame. But it wasn't until he broke down in front of them that they finally allowed themselves to see how they affected him. I both hated and absolutely loved that scene. So while I hate that they took this route to protect themselves first, I get it. They're human and flawed.

I was lucky enough to have parents that emphasized communication above everything else. But even though I never doubted their love for me, they also made mistakes that I still see the side effects of in my everyday life. Parents are living for the first time, too. They're going to do things wrong and hopefully, when confronted, they'll see how they need to improve to better the lives of those around them. I really appreciate how the writers took their time for us to see both the love and the neglect the parents displayed and how that affected Qin.

It was heartbreaking and refreshing and raw; utterly human.

CLOSING THOUGHTS --

Needless to say, I went on a journey with this one. I went into it with previous pre-conceived understandings of what I judged as a typical BL show, and I came out with a gentle appreciation for humanity, flaws and all. I'm so glad I was wrong. Was it an out-of-this-world, astounding series? Probably not. Was the plot a thrilling adventure with plot twists around every corner? Not at all. It was simply a story of a group of people navigating life together while learning about each other and themselves along the way. Like the director himself stated, this series, much like humanity, is "not the best, but still good." We aren't perfect, but we try. And that's good enough for me.

The most boring series

I have watched many Thai BL dramas and this one is the most boring drama ever. Acting skill was a disaster, the background music is so disturbing that gives one big NO on to of everything I don’t like. It is surprising for high scores from others but I can understand. The only “positive” is that lately Thai BL actors are trying to look a like Koreans. We can see in Thai BL’s Americano coffee, they dressed like Koreans and even the haircuts are similar to Koreans. Over all, for me it was a waist of tiome, even though I have tried to be very objective.

not mature enough for me.

I'm sorry to Bls mature enough this BL is what you call puppy love. I like BL'S that are more mature like Kinn Porsche peach lover pitbabe BL's like them. this is 2026 we need more bls like the one that I just mentioned. not ones that are going to cut certain scenes because how intimate they are if you're going to cut scenes why show any kind of intimacy in it it shouldn't have kissing or hugging in it if that's the case One of my least favorite Bl so far. this BL gets a negative one for me. I might not even finish this series

Duaaaang!

Watch this, really!
I watched this a couple days ago and wow!! I was searching for a more cute soft bl drama, kinda youth vibes, and thats what i've got. This bl really healed me, i was tired of bl's that were too complicated or hard to watch, and this one is definitely easy and good to watch, i felt good and happy all the episodes that were happy, and i could get emotional when i had to. And when i was watching i always felt kinda silly happy bursting with happiness just like Duang. Its a very light series that made me wanna live again, lol. We had some spice and emotional moments too, all in good amounts. The chosen actors were amazing, all of them good choices, they're all adorable and act really well, even tho they're not in this career for much long.
I know some people could "cringe" in some moments, but thats absolutely not me, i felt just like Duang freaking out cutely.

To finish: Duang love Qin, Qin love Duang!

Duang with You: 4/27/2026 ~ 4/30/2026

Am I heavily biased writing this review? Oh, for sure, but who cares. This is the first BL that I have finished, and I loved everything about it. Everything within the show felt natural and there were no scenes where I felt awkward or had to pause due to secondhand embarrassment. Everything was perfect in this show. The friendships were amazing and so cute to see how much they cared for each other. I also love how the story progressed naturally and actually allowed the characters to build a relationship. It wasn't rushed but something that made sense given the two characters, I also love how easily misunderstanding were resolved. That doesn't mean there wasn't conflict but there weren't unnecessary fights that lead to nowhere. Lastly, I love the side couple and from what I had seen on TikTok they have their own book, so I really hope they make that into a show as well since I would really love to see that.

Incredible.

🎭 acting: 10/10
📖 plot: 10/10
🪷 overall rating: 10/10

🧡 favorite character: DUANG. , i literally never related to anyone so much in my life.
📝 review: oh this is ginna be so long.
Im not biased, I actually started with such low expectations. Duang with you was my first approach to Thai Bl and honestly I would've never expected that I'd fall in love with this series, more than the series I fell in love with the story.
I can't find the words to describe how good they handles such a heart warming plot in just 12 episodes, The whole pacing was comfortable, slow but giving you satisfaction, I loved how healthy the relationship were, between friends , duangs family, the warrior tiger trio ❤️ and ofc, duangqin. This is a story of two people choosing eachother , accepting the other flaws and helping each other in difficult times giving space, comfort and most imortantly , choices. The whole cast was insanely good. The acting made me feel really close to the characters, it was full of laughs and silliness but also gave space to more complicated emotions like jealousy, regret, hesitation, childhood trauma and abuse. The music, sigh. The osts really convey all the characters feelings , every song was very well played and inserted at the best of times, the lyrics helped you understand what the characters thought, their fears, their worries and their love. I honestly can't explain how close to my earth duang with you has been, and will be for a long time, even if I'll move on from this, I'll always keep Duang With You in a very special place in my heart 🩵

extra: I'm really proud of teeteepor, they came so far and will keep to make our hearts throb 🩵 keep it up angels.

This show was an absolute rollercoaster of emotions and I completely loved it! I went from having full-on laughing fits and giggling with a goofy smile on my face to crying a river. It’s a silly, chaotic, and intentionally over-the-top rom-com that perfectly balances its wild moments with more vulnerable ones that totally won me over.

The charm of the show is hands down Duang. How can anyone resist his impulsive, optimistic, naive, and vibrant energy? I love when he says he’s going to win Qin’s heart and that he’s not asking for permission, just letting him know. But while Duang is an open book and completely transparent about his feelings, Qin is the exact opposite. Seemingly cold and emotionally guarded, he slowly gives in to Duang’s chaotic, over-the-top, yet incredibly tender charm.

Qin was actually the character that surprised me the most. He’s complex, and the show gradually reveals the reasons behind his reserved nature and emotional distance. The nanny scene had me sobbing. Huge props to the young actor who played child Qin, because that was a really difficult, heavy scene.

TeeTee and Por have perfect chemistry, it feels so natural and they delivered all the emotional weight their characters demanded. Casting Yim as Duang’s older brother was a stroke of genius. Loved it! The entire cast gave solid performances, with North being a major standout. Plus, the OST is just as sweet and vibrant as the show itself. Duang with You has definitely made it onto my comfort show list.
