Im not biased, I actually started with such low expectations. Duang with you was my first approach to Thai Bl and honestly I would've never expected that I'd fall in love with this series, more than the series I fell in love with the story.
I can't find the words to describe how good they handles such a heart warming plot in just 12 episodes, The whole pacing was comfortable, slow but giving you satisfaction, I loved how healthy the relationship were, between friends , duangs family, the warrior tiger trio ❤️ and ofc, duangqin. This is a story of two people choosing eachother , accepting the other flaws and helping each other in difficult times giving space, comfort and most imortantly , choices. The whole cast was insanely good. The acting made me feel really close to the characters, it was full of laughs and silliness but also gave space to more complicated emotions like jealousy, regret, hesitation, childhood trauma and abuse. The music, sigh. The osts really convey all the characters feelings , every song was very well played and inserted at the best of times, the lyrics helped you understand what the characters thought, their fears, their worries and their love. I honestly can't explain how close to my earth duang with you has been, and will be for a long time, even if I'll move on from this, I'll always keep Duang With You in a very special place in my heart 🩵

This show was an absolute rollercoaster of emotions and I completely loved it! I went from having full-on laughing fits and giggling with a goofy smile on my face to crying a river. It’s a silly, chaotic, and intentionally over-the-top rom-com that perfectly balances its wild moments with more vulnerable ones that totally won me over.The charm of the show is hands down Duang. How can anyone resist his impulsive, optimistic, naive, and vibrant energy? I love when he says he’s going to win Qin’s heart and that he’s not asking for permission, just letting him know. But while Duang is an open book and completely transparent about his feelings, Qin is the exact opposite. Seemingly cold and emotionally guarded, he slowly gives in to Duang’s chaotic, over-the-top, yet incredibly tender charm.
Qin was actually the character that surprised me the most. He’s complex, and the show gradually reveals the reasons behind his reserved nature and emotional distance. The nanny scene had me sobbing. Huge props to the young actor who played child Qin, because that was a really difficult, heavy scene.
TeeTee and Por have perfect chemistry, it feels so natural and they delivered all the emotional weight their characters demanded. Casting Yim as Duang’s older brother was a stroke of genius. Loved it! The entire cast gave solid performances, with North being a major standout. Plus, the OST is just as sweet and vibrant as the show itself. Duang with You has definitely made it onto my comfort show list.

THE BEST OF THE BEST!
This is really by far, the best BL series I've ever watched.I've seen quite a few BL series before, but this is the first time I've been this invested in a pairing.
I'm not blind, I know this series has received mixed opinions, and I respect that. But personally, I have to disagree. Yes, the plot is familiar. The storyline is predictable. But it still felt like such a breath of fresh air.
Duang is a perfect character to me, and I honestly don't understand why some people think otherwise. He's so human. A true lover boy, a walking green flag, he respects boundaries, remains patient, remembers even the smallest details about the person he loves, and is willing to step back if that's what the other person needs.
And Qin... hmm, he's probably one of the most realistic characters I've seen. That's why I'm always confused when people criticize him for being quiet. Trauma affects people differently yk. If you've never experienced something that makes you withdraw from the world, then I'm genuinely happy for you. But Qin's reactions felt incredibly real to me. And despite everything he's been through, he's strong. Really, really strong.
Ironically, I think the series being "predictable" is part of what made it so enjoyable. You may have an idea of where the story is going, but the performances keep surprising you. The emotions never feel predictable.
At the end of the day, a good script can only take you so far. When the actors genuinely have chemistry, every scene just hits differently.
Duang With You will always have a special place in my heart. 🤍

The best series I've watched
I love this so much 😭 how can you not loved them they're so cute , will miss them so much give me another series of them together I'm sold 👏🙌At first i don't have any interest to watch this because I'm stuck with khemjira that show set a high standard, but my friend said this show is so good , so I'll give it a shot and guess what i love it so much to the point that I'm teary eye , because it's so cute story , i also really like tha acting both teeteepor did a amazing kudos to everyone 😍👏 give them tons of award 🤧🙏

Do you need comfort, sweetness, cuteness? ... It's for you!
PLOT: Duang, a first-year Arts student, falls head over heels for Qinn, who sings at the Freshmen welcome Show. Duang decides to do everything he can to win over Qinn, a super popular Music student, but cold, very introverted, even aloof. Some seniors ask them to perform a duet at an event, forcing Qinn to spend time with Duang every day. Duang, cheerful, super enthusiastic, childlike, optimistic... will do everything he can to melt Qinn's heart.+++ In the first few episodes, Duang of is unbearable, intrusive, even a stalker and harasser. But later, he becomes more serious, and the character is then pleasant, respectful, and endearing.
+++ Por [so handsome, he looks like he came straight out of a manga] and TeeTee are very cute, very young but talented, and have a very natural chemistry. I'm looking forward to their future series (。ˇ ⊖ˇ）♡)

Duang décide de tt faire pr conquérir Qinn, étudiant super populaire en Musique, mais froid, très introverti voire inaccessible. Des seniors vont leur demander à faire 1 duo lors d'1 évènement, obligeant Qinn a cotoyé Duang quotidiennement Duang, enjoué, super enthousiaste, puéril, optimiste, ... va tt faire pr réchauffer le coeur de Qinn.
+++ Le Duang des 1ers épisodes est insupportable, intrusif, voire stalker & harceleur. Mais ensuite, il devient + sérieux et le personnage est alors agréable, respectueux et attachant.
+++ Por [si beau, qu'on le croirait sorti d'1 manga] & TeeTee sont très cute, très jeunes mais talentueux et avec 1 alchimie très naturelle. J'attends de voir leurs futures séries （。ˇ ⊖ˇ）♡

it took me a while to finish watching, i stopped at episode 9 when it was airing and only continued two months after the series ended. to me, it was a little underwhelming because it lacked complexities but i think that was the point. it's overall a simple and straightforward university romance and i think that's what people love about it. i think the story's pace is really good, not too slow and not too quick, and i loved that. for teeteepor's first ever lead roles, they did such a good job, especially teetee. he was phenomenal.i think the conflict with qin's parents was remarkable to me because it really shows that a child's development is deeply affected by how they were raised and the environment they were in. and it only took a plain apology and a hug, which to me is kinda unrealistic. proves to show that all a child would ever want from their parent/s is affection. hits close to home.
p.s. the cinematography is just *chef's kiss*

romantic comedy mixed with a mini sitcom
If you’re looking for a good laugh and something lighthearted, healing, and easy to watch in a school setting, give this drama a try.The friendship between the leads and the supporting actors is hilarious, and their chemistry is fantastic. It feels like watching a romantic comedy mixed with a mini sitcom, thanks to the fun sound effects and expressive acting.
It’s a little sad that they’re no longer a switch pairing because I really see a lot of potential from them as a couple. This was my first time watching a series with TeeteePor, and they definitely left a good impression.

Sweet and cute done absolutely right!
This show is a unicorn. It sparkles, it's unbelievably cute and absolutely one of a kind. This level of cuteness is usually 100% cringe to me. But the delivery from Teetee and Por is perfectly balanced. They complete each other. So although the story itself is not very substantial, there is a message here: You need a supportive and safe partner who, even if they don't understand you, will try anyway.Another take away is that communication can be very attractive indeed. The way Qi and Duang try to understand and know eachother is amazing.
And who expected that these cuties would be able to switch to hot and bothered is a millisecond ?
It was agony waiting for a new episode every week. And every episode made me so happy.
Absolutely a masterpiece in the college genre, and I'm putting it high in my re-watch list.

This The Best, Not Just Good!
It's no wonder the ratings are so high, considering the storyline is a lighthearted series about someone who falls in love at first sight and intends to pursue it until they find it. Once watched, it's addictive to the point where you can't stop. Even in episode 11, which is usually a sacred episode, here it's given a conflict about friendship and family not the couple. They're calm and peaceful from episode 1 to the end. Duang loves Qin, Qin loves Duang, the sound effects are addictive too!Was this review helpful to you?
thoughts on my 2nd bl and how it shows important plot
my duang ang qin! probably the best bl ive watched. its funny and i like the characters. qin's story is sad, i cried. i love that they don't cut off scenes and strip off the important ones because im used to kdrama opening up a plot and not going deeper and resolving it or the format is too common that its predictable whereas in this drama, it respected the book and adapted those scenes perfectly. its fresh for my kdrama programmed brain plot lol. the acting can be worked out. its a hit or miss. some of you hate fun. its not like this will be submitted to cannes or the academy lol. storywise, its so cute and too good to be true but i like to watch feel good series duuuhh. my friend recommended it to me and were watching together. i like that sex scenes are longer and a lot. topics and dialogues about being the top and bottom was refreshing as well because not all opens that up on movies or series. glad they adapted it from the book. Duang with You — A Love Story About Never Giving Up
What I loved most about Duang with You is that it isn't simply a romance. At its heart, it's a story about perseverance. It's about refusing to give up on someone you genuinely care about, even when things don't go the way you hoped. That message gives the drama much more depth than the average university BL and makes the romance feel earned instead of rushed.The story is simple, but it knows exactly what it wants to tell. Rather than relying on endless misunderstandings or unnecessary drama, it focuses on the small moments that slowly bring two people closer together. Every setback only makes the relationship stronger, and that's what kept me emotionally invested until the very end.
The cast is absolutely adorable.
TeeTee has the kind of smile that could melt almost anyone. His enthusiasm and sincerity make Duang impossible not to love, and he carries the optimism of the story perfectly. Por, on the other hand, has an incredibly youthful face. Even though both actors are in their early twenties, they look so young that some of the more intimate scenes almost make you forget they're adults. Their innocence becomes part of their charm and gives the romance a sweetness that feels completely natural.
What I also liked is that their relationship never feels locked into traditional expectations. Their personalities complement each other so well that I could easily imagine them as a truly versatile couple, with neither one defined by a fixed role in their relationship. That balance fits the way their romance develops throughout the series and makes them feel like genuine equals.
The production is equally charming. The university setting is colourful without becoming unrealistic, the cinematography matches the warm atmosphere, and the soundtrack quietly supports the emotional scenes. Nothing tries to steal the spotlight from the characters themselves, which is exactly the right decision.
Final Thought
Duang with You reminded me that sometimes the simplest stories are also the most touching. It's a drama about patience, determination, and believing that love is worth fighting for. Add an incredibly likeable cast and a relationship that's easy to believe in, and you get one of the sweetest BLs I've watched this year.
