In both of these series, an innocent person is forced into the position of a serial killer, in Tengoku to Jigoku it's through body-swapping, and in Psychopath Diary it's through amnesia. They also both include police investigation and a bit of mystery.

Both features a forbidden relationship between the suspect and the police officer, and have some painful mystery to uncover. But Tengoku to Jigoku has some supernatural themes, while Saiai doesn’t. Tengoku to Jigoku is also more comedic than Saiai.

Both are mixes of many genres — Comedy, mystery, thriller, etc. FL and ML are enemies, then partners. ML is suspicious af, with a front of a perfect man but with a possibility of being a psycho. Conclusion to the case is similar in some ways.

Both main characters are switched their soul accidentally because of falling and related with the moon. And the good character poorly move her soul to the body of the bad one.

In "Tengoku to Joigoku" drama, the female lead that working as police, landed her soul on the criminal body that did many crimes and hated. But in the end.. same like "Switched" drama, they have to work together to fix all the issues and switch back their soul.
