You’ll be laughing from the first scene…
The writers pushed the envelope for the first scene when the leads initially meet, and it was HYSTERICAL. I mean what intern doctor wouldn’t be absolutely mortified by making that kind of mistake? Especially when treating a man as good looking as her accidental patient was. So if you’re curious, (and you love great laughs wrapped up within an adorable love story,) this vertical fits the bill. Both leads are always fantastic in their given roles and it helps that they can pull off comedic timing and exasperated expressions. The story isn’t ground breaking, but it is entertaining…and it helps that these two are absolutely gorgeous together and have a really lovely chemistry. Enjoyable watch. A few regular tropes, but nothing that will boil your blood pressure. I’m still chuckling over that opening sequence though. 🤣👏Was this review helpful to you?

The Unexpected Duo who have CP
Finally this page has been add up (Thank you for whoever got their request appealed lol) since i want to make review on Cao Tian Kai- Peng Yao drama.The Pair has collaborated twice (the first one is good even the plot is not everyone favourite) and this is their second collaborating (by time i type this there is third version of their collab will be released in 2026).
I thought the plot is like Wang Yiran-Lan lan or Chen Gang-Zuo Yi version but i was completely WRONG.
FL aka Qi Xu is doctor intern who met ML aka Lin You Qian by mistake as andrology patient while he actually want to get medical checkup. Feel embarrassed and scared of not passing the intern FL asks ML to spare him by not make complain to higher authority. ML was actually forced to marry by her mother and make FL pretend as her girlfriend while FL thinks he want to pretend by one day ML wants to marry her since her mother was getting cancer (her mother pretend to being sick while FL know the fact later and follow her mother act since she respect her MIL). The latter part is quite sad and get slice of life feeling since it revolve about FL Mom and ML mom backstory without being losing main plot about the couple. The supporting cast are doing great job for this without shadowing main characters.
Recommended to everyone who love comedy with slice of life.
And as always its not Cao Tian Kai who never shown his refined body (and i am not complaining though, he reminds me of Eric of Shinwa)

OVERALL IMPRESSION🌟A funny, fast-paced romance with an unforgettable first meeting, a well-matched couple, playful chemistry, family pressure, sweet revenge, and enough emotional depth to keep me glued to the screen.
WHAT I LIKED💖
• The FL is adorable, funny, energetic, and incredibly cute.
• Her awkward first encounter with the ML is one of the funniest lead meetings I have seen in short-drama history.
• The leads share similar mannerisms and interests, making them feel naturally well suited.
• I loved the FL’s adorable stutter and the ML’s playful way of teasing her.
• It is especially funny that the ML creates rules for their relationship but becomes the first person to break them.
• The ML’s kindness gradually develops beyond favors intended to impress the FL, and his decision to help her on his own initiative moves their relationship forward.
• Their playful attraction grows into genuine love, trust, and concern.
• I appreciated how they remained united and supported each other when serious problems threatened their relationship and the FL’s mother.
• The ML’s matchmaking mother is entertaining, and although she sometimes oversteps her boundaries, her heart is pure and her intentions are good.
WHAT I DISLIKED⚠️
• The FL’s father treats both her and her mother terribly, showing them no respect while caring mainly about money and control of the family company.
• His relationship with his equally greedy mistress makes his behavior even more infuriating.
• The ML’s ex-girlfriend reaches an unacceptable low by staging an extreme and traumatic incident in front of a little girl.
• Her actions are selfish and reckless, with no concern for the emotional harm caused to the child or the consequences for anyone else.
PRODUCTION AND PERFORMANCES🎭
• Cao Tian Kai gives a wonderfully humorous and charming performance.
• There is no denying that he is extremely attractive, with a hot body and flawless abs—and he certainly knows how to use his assets!
• The leads share delightful chemistry that moves naturally between awkward comedy, sexual humor, romance, and sincere emotional support.
• The fast pacing balances hilarious scenes with heartbreak and family conflict without losing its entertainment value.
FINAL THOUGHTS💭
This drama combines an adorable couple, romantic manipulation, sweet revenge, emotional challenges, and plenty of laughter.
• Despite some cruel and selfish supporting characters, the leads’ genuine care and willingness to face difficulties together make the romance satisfying. It kept me glued to the screen, was thoroughly entertaining, and is highly recommended!

Eu dei MUITA risada com esse drama drama!Foi muito bom acompanhar o Cao Tian Kai em um drama tão divertido, eu fico imaginando os bastidores, eu não conseguiria ficar séria principalmente na cena inicial do ML com a FL kkkkkkk
Eu gosto muito da Peng Yao e gosto que ela esteja mudando o tipo de drama que faz.
Os atores atuaram muito bem juntos e em comparação com outros dramas recentes este é muitooooo tranquilo mesmo com a 2FL.
Vale a pena assistir para um detox.
