Not much more to say than ok.
I fell in love with TutorYim in 2022 when Cutie Pie was airing and I didn't really feel like watching this while it was airing and saved it for later so here I am. I was so scared when I opened it and saw copy a Bangkok.... For people who don't know, copy a Bangkok often has extreme NC and sometimes no plot and just straight up p/rn. I hate that. It ruins many shows.Like Playboyy and Peach Lover tried to have a plot but... yeah. Honestly, I was immediately scared. Should I have been scared? Idk..I normally like these type of drama's and one specific romance genre like starting a small shop or just in general a business. It starts messy but that's nice. The whole ex thing was done quite well but it was a little too early in the series to actually feel along, this is something I normally have and I'm not changing my rating on this. The whole business was a big mess. It seemed like the bar was far from ready to open and then all of the sudden everything was done while it felt like they never really worked on it.
About the NC, I'm not a big fan. Honestly, no hate to TutorYim but if they really wanted to add this much NC they should've used a different pair. TutorYim's boundaries seem to not like too much explicit content and I can 100% get that. But the NC felt like it was lacking. I don't watch series for the NC but this just caught me off guard. They keep talking and teasing each other about it but the actual thing is 1 kiss and then quickly a jump in the future. Some scene's didn't even feel like they did something because the skip was SO fast.
I hate to say it but there is too much romance. Like 0 drama and everything between Intha and Oeng seems to be going extremely well. I love how healthy they are but at some point it started to just bore me. It felt like that fire was added to make it a bit less boring but there was no fire damage at all and it was fixed immediate?? Also, the ex only came back like 6 times and even that wasn't serious.
Yim plays a characters I've not seen him previously do. He seems way more masculine and less 'shy' or his usual 'innocent' role. Holy shit I liked that extremely. Also I never noticed he has quite some muscle, it looks so good on him. I really hope he will get a similar role in the future. As for Tutor, he kinda had the same role as before. I was soooo surprised that they added Buddhism again and I'm so happy about it!! It really reminded me of cutie pie and it just made me happy.
Domundi is fucking peak lately and they just keep releasing more and more good series, to the point where everything is just better and I need to be honest, I switched from being a Gmmtv fan boy to a Domundi boy. The DWY refrences AND khemjira?! Yes this made me sooo happy. I loved seeing master Peem again and can't wait until the Khemjira special episodes. Do I suggest watching it? Meh. It just really has to be your type of series. I do see people hate on this more than I expected.

Enfim decepcionou tava louca pra acabar e pulei muitas cenas.
obs: outra coisa que me irritou muito eles ficarem se chamando de marido e esposa, vsf é historia de 2 homens odeio quando eles fazem isso.

It's just a slice-of-life show, and that's it
It's a comedy slice-of-life show, and that's alright. Its production really reminds me of japanese bls, and so does the storyline. It's simple. Yet, it's kinda dull. As usual, TutorYim's acting are amazing. They're incredibly talented. Still, the narrative is just too weak. Once again, the production was there. Such a beautiful cinematography! But what's up with the script team having a beef with TutorYim? Of course I do understand that this show comes from a day-to-day basis, it is supposed to be easygoing and feel natural, but it doesn't mean it has to be this gray thing. Personally, I didn't have a problem with the ammount of NC scenes nor the sexual undertones of the whole show. I guess it's natural when they're a young and in love couple. Still, there were lots of other ways to go from it. See, in Battle of The Writers, all of the NC scenes felt so well-placed in the story. ChermChey's just feel random, that's the thing. Anyway, it's a comedy show, it's not supposed to be a really big deal. I wish TutorYim get to star a well written show, still. Also, something's worth thinking about is the way ChermChey was probably planned to be received by the audience weekly, considering the rhythm of the story. But, in a long term, that really sucks. Found Yim so cute in this series as a whole. Tutor's unbelievably beautiful with a blonde hair. They're so good. Was this review helpful to you?

WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT
Wow.I truly love TutorYim, they are my gay uncles like I love them with all my heart. Their acting is so good and they are sooooo handsome omg.
But what was that storyline?! Where are we going to? That was shitty as hell, and that was just sex selling. I kinda regret watching this, I literally lost two days.
The worst thing for me was that Erng wanted to be called wife, sweet, cute, petite… that was cringe asf. I mean, you are a man and I’m here for gay couple. Not for a mid gay mid straight. If he wanted to be a woman I would be ok, but that was just for the couple to be straight and I hate that.
the story was nothing. Don’t watch this

Mid but not flat out awful. Just here for my babies, TutorYim
This might be the mediocre series I've watched this year, so far. The writing, the story and its pacing were not really at their best. The plot got thrown out of place. Scattered if u will call it that. Gotta be honest, TutorYim was just the saving grace of this series. The seriousness in scenes where their bar got burned and sabotaged was overlapped with loveydovey cheesy scenes and the sex scenes too. Hear me out, this is the series who first showed me TutorYim engage in sex scenes. Their previous series were just love but this one particularly branched their acting especially raking on mature roles and scenes. It's a comedic piece as a whole. I cant deny i was laughing at the absurd jokes and physical banter they have in this series. Need this if you're worn out of complicated storyline from other series. Not really their best so it wont be a rewatch series for me but i must say it kept me entertained for a long while. It never felt tiring for me to watch it. Neither this is a chore to watch. I know im not a fan of longer running time of each ep. Yes and that applies to series with episodes that exceeds 20 mins lol. They could've cut it down to like 25 mins and we're good. Nevertheless, this was a good entertaining watch for me. No hard feelings lol.Was this review helpful to you?
"Finding someone you like isn't hard; making a relationship last is the hard part."
Finally, a series with Tutor and Yim! And as always, they don’t disappoint, delivering such honest and genuine performances. I have to admit, this show really surprised me because it turned out to be way more than just a casual, throwaway series. It’s a sweet, lighthearted, and super fun slice-of-life with plenty of references to Thai culture and other shows.Even though he had his heart broken over and over again, "Oeng" decides to give love one last shot and ends up meeting Intha. Considered unattractive and the size of a buffalo, all "Oeng" really wants is someone who looks past his physical appearance, someone who realizes that he wants to be spoiled, protected, and respected too, and just loved for who he is. And that’s when he meets Intha.
From there, we follow their day-to-day life as a couple. One of my favorite parts is when they write down little moments and reflections in a diary, and we get to watch their relationship grow. What started out as a one-night stand ends up turning into something much more lasting. The series comes full circle, ending right where it all started, on the temple steps where "Oeng" first laid eyes on Intha.

And it just keeps getting worse
Ep 5 Addition: This series was really just thrown out there. Watching the latest episode started out much the same as the previous 4, but then about 13minutes in things just got weird. The song choice during In and Ernge's date was a Christian Vacation Bible School song based on Romans 8:28. I'm just really having a hard time at this point not finding every single ridiculous thing that went into this series irritating. I hate that I hate so much about this because I really wanted to love it for the sake of the author and the cast.Ep 1-4 Review: I have seen people attempt to defend this series as "art". Well sure, I have a camera and am myself capable of creating "art". But this is a far cry from GOOD art. And it's really unfortunate because, much like Ai Long Nai, the novel by Nattakorn is fantastic while the screenwriting totally bombs. I've even had a soft spot for TutorYim since Cutie Pie and have been waiting for them to get a good series. Am I going to finish this series? Absolutely because the novel and the actors are great and if you have read it you can still follow along, but you may not be thrilled with it.

want to see the actors in something else
Overall: Tutor & Yim deserved better. 10 episodes about 40 minutes each. Aired on GagaOOLala https://www.gagaoolala.com/en/videos/7399/chermchey-2026-e01Content Warnings: intimate partner violence (not between the leads), violence/punches, blood, episode 4 4:40-7 a flashing light
What I Like
- Tutor & Yim
- caring moments
- color grading
- that he said he was willing to try in episode 2
Room For Improvement
- no idea why they went with an over the top comedy but the sound effects were terrible and it didn't work as a comedy (the color grading made it seem like it would be dramatic)
- constantly cutting out before NC scenes when we all know Tutor and Yim would be amazing
- the bottle hit was a bit much in ep 1
- when a character said he was hit by his then boyfriend the response was "why didn't you fight back"
- a character told his boyfriend not to wear low cut shirts or short shorts
- cringey wand thing
- did not care at all about the ex boyfriend and his new love interest plot

Earlier I watched some series from COPY A BANGKOK and I realized that all the scenes are terrible, I don't know why I watched this one, because it proved that there is no quality, that the conversations are terribly uninteresting and nebulous, The plot does not exist, the introduction, elaborations, everything is missing, the actors seem to have left kindergarten. Bottom line: waste of money.
The only thing I would "kill" from the c*ck of this nice little skinny Tutor Koraphat Lamnoi. And this Yim Prarinyakorn Kansawa better go fishing, he has no connection with acting.

Unique, quirky and hilarious
I think this show is just so unique, quirky and really hilarious. It clearly is not the typical, run of the mill BL where an "overly cute and shy university boy falls for a super hot, rich guy" or a story that feels like "pure cotton candy" and I like that about it. Even though it is super quirky, it actually feels realistic in a lot of ways, I know not every couple is so unique or quirky, but some really are. Both of the main characters have this kind of confidence in their weird personalities, but they totally embrace their uniqueness, and they complement each other so well. I am sure some people might find it a bit too over the top or think that it is not "cute" in the traditional sense, but that is what I actually like about this show. I also think that the cinematography looks gorgeous and has its own distinct vibe that really matches the tone of the show. It is different, and I personally like this vibe. Was this review helpful to you?
.
What can I say? I really enjoyed this series because it felt a little different from the usual. That made it stand out even more.
I'm also a big fan of Tutor and Yin, so seeing them together again was definitely a bonus. I really hope we'll get to see more projects with them in the future. 🤍✨

Unique love
This was a fantastic series about two people who struggled to keep a relationship due to their unique personalities. Erng was told by partners he was weird, unattractive and fat. Intha was criticized by his devotion to his religion, his unique family dynamic, and coarse language.Finding each other and accepting each other while falling in love was done well. We were on a journey through their relationship, their devotion to each other no matter the circumstances, and being by each other's side no matter what.
It's rare to see this in reality, let alone in series. Usually we're seeing perfect couples falling for each other, or the beauty and the less beautiful trope.
However here we see two imperfect people finding each other and genuinely loving each other.
I will definitely rewatch this one!
