Supporting Female Lead was too powerful in this drama

I watched this because of Li Ya Ya and personally i quite have 50:50 opinion about Min Jie acting, so i tried to watch it because of Li Ya Ya. It was decent drama to watch.

The plot was quite interesting, FL dreams of her own ending, makes different choices, and has a storyline involving conflict with the chosen one (SFL) and the forces of fate. ML loves the FL very much and is very perceptive of the SFL's manipulative behavior, drawing a line as clear as the Milky Way. This kind of plot is just so satisfying. But no matter how the ML and FL choose to distance themselves, SFL always appears around them, saying ambiguous things, and everyone still believes her.

ML accidentally sees SFL changing clothes and almost vomits. FL's health slowly deteriorates because of the SFL's luck. The ML can't get an erection because of the SFL's luck. The funniest part is that the ML treats the SFL like a "love potion," and the FL treats SFL like a talisman.

ML learns SFL is the world's ultimate main character and wants to kill FL and perish together. His past life's ML appears and tells him that he and FL have died over ten times, and killing the SFL will only lead to endless reincarnation. I quite like the plot twist in this drama since it was make sense and acceptable.

The main couple is somewhat sweet but their intimate scene was obviously cut, SFL is just too much of a troublemaker and she got more screentime more than the leads, she was too powerful and her luck was quite big in short drama.

This show's appeal lies in its deep affection; lovers overcome countless obstacles to be together.

Decent watch, if you want to see light romance.

OVERALL IMPRESSION🌟
I have never seen this exact storyline before, and I loved it! What begins as a lighthearted romcom about a wife receiving frightening warnings that another woman may be her husband’s “destined partner” gradually becomes a surprisingly emotional story about marriage, fate and self-sacrifice. The unusual premise kept me glued to the screen because I genuinely didn’t know what would happen next.

WHAT I LIKED💖
• The poor ML appears destined to become a scumbag husband, yet he actively resists the mysterious force trying to manipulate his body and emotions.
• The FL was a boss! She thought ahead and calmly handled both the SFL and SML, who were determined to destroy her marriage. She also had to be careful because changing the expected storyline could produce dangerous and unpredictable consequences.
• The SFL appeared to have studied every lesson in **The Green Tea Academy of Advanced Manipulation Manual**, whose motto must surely be: **“Feign, faint, frame—and make him dote.”** It was hilarious watching her use one familiar cliché after another while wondering whether any of them would finally work.
• The ML was completely devoted to his wife and had a wonderfully sharp tongue. Whenever somebody criticised or disrespected her, he was quick to bite back—and his insults certainly landed!
• The chemistry between the leads was sizzling hot! Their attraction felt natural and believable, and this drama certainly did not deprive us of romantic tension, affectionate moments or plenty of kissing. There was also considerably more ML skin than I usually see in a C-short—which certainly didn’t hurt!
• Although their relationship began as a contractual marriage, their feelings never appeared forced. Beneath their playful interactions and passionate moments, they genuinely cared about one another.
• The drama used plenty of familiar C-short tropes, but its unusual central idea made them feel fresh. Part of the fun came from recognising each cliché and trying to guess how it would be used.

WHAT I DISLIKED⚠️
• I couldn’t stand how shamelessly the SFL tried to insert herself into a relationship and family that were not hers.
• Some of the side-character relationships and behaviour made me uncomfortable and felt unnecessary.
• A few emotional moments were presented as humorous, even though the desperation behind them was actually quite sad.

PRODUCTION AND PERFORMANCES🎭
• The drama was more humorous than dramatic, but its emotional scenes still had an unexpected impact. I certainly wasn’t prepared to cry!
• The cast performed well, the wardrobe was lovely, and the leads shared believable, sizzling chemistry. The drama balanced comedy, romance, suspense and emotion without becoming difficult to follow.

FINAL THOUGHTS💭
This was a funny, romantic and wonderfully unpredictable story about a married couple fighting against manipulation, unwanted interference and a fate that appeared determined to control their relationship. The unusual premise, sharp humour, passionate chemistry and surprisingly emotional moments made it stand out from the usual C-short romcoms. I would happily watch it again.
