During the initial episodes it felt like the drama wasn't really moving that much until it got to episode 10 or 11. Even though the drama revealed many secrets it just feels like it is being dragged on and on.
To me, it feels like one of the American TV shows where secrets are being revealed but at a very slow pace. Hence, why I watch dramas. Deja vu has a lot of potential to be a drama classic, but the producers are now just dragging the drama on for too long. It should have ended a couple of episodes ago.

Acting/Cast: I do not like the main guy How, but I will admit that he did act well. The highlight for me was definitely Mandy - she was amazing. You could really feel her emotions and her heartbreak and everything else. I hope to see her in more dramas soon! It feels mean to say this.. but Jenna is very suitable to play her bitchy roles, she does them so well. Props to her!
Music: The opening song is breathtaking. I absolutely LOVE it. It is such a beautiful song with so much emotions in it! I had it playing on repeat for a few days and I had to turn it off because it was actually downing on me XD But it is beautiful!
Rewatch Value: If I was ever feeling down and in the mood for something depressing I would watch the first episode and skim through the rest..
Overall: When I first read the synopsis I thought to myself I must watch this! But then I saw the main character was played by How and I hesitated. But I watched it anyway after hearing so much good things about it and I'm glad I did! I know alot of people here did not like the pace of the drama and the direction it went, but I still enjoyed this drama alot!

The female lead in this drama is basically that cat. And while it's adorable and amusing behaviour in a pet, it's unbelievably frustrating in a grown ass woman. Especially one whose situation is not just of her own making but her outright choice.
The most annoying thing is that this drama had a fantastic first episode. When Xu Youxi's fiancee dies she goes back in time to save him by making sure they never fall in love. In exchange, her ballet career is destroyed by an injury. Now five years later 'fate' (where has fate been for five years btw, did it take a vacation because it knew it was about to get a workout?) has thrown Youxi and her boyfriend back together as her boss and sister's fiancee. Because it's DESTINY my friends. DESTINY.
Except - it isn't? Youxi could leave the situation at any time and, in fact, declares her intention to multiple times. But always in a way that makes her look like that cat and gives him time to come up with a reason for her to stay. She follows her former fiancee around with big eyes and quivering lips while martyring herself for him over and over, always staying a discreet distance but just close enough that he can see her suffering. And all of this is supposed to be noble or something but as it went on I was increasingly sympathetic of her batshit insane half-sister for seeing the behaviour as manipulative. Because it is.
Suddenly this drama is a workplace romance between a lowly Candy and her boss complete with an insane second female lead and a second male lead whose behaviour borders on deranged. The female lead comes off as manipulative, the male lead as wishy washy and inconstant, the second female lead as a raging lunatic and the second male lead has a different personality every scene.
Instead of enduring it, I should have just gotten myself another cat.

Watch the first 17 episodes (or at least a scene from ep 14)
I really liked the story through the first 17 episodes, but afterwards it just all got kinda messy. If I were the production team and specifically wanted there to be 22 episodes, I would have spent a few episodes diving into Lu Xi Wei and Xu You Xi’s five-year “love” story instead. The acting wasn’t the best either. I did like the strength in Xu Hai Lin’s, Xi Wei’s, and Fang Qi Xiang’s characters, but the characters generally were fairly one-dimensional. You Xi in particular seemed like a very far fetched character, and Xu Hai Lin was over forgiving of her behavior a lot of the time throughout the series. Nevertheless, watch the scene in episode 14 from 49:08 to 51:22 (you’re welcome ;) )

I been watching Asian dramas for a long time so I know what I want . But sometime I get sucked into a hyped drama -_-" and get disappointed. I won't name any because I'll get hated on-_-".
I recommend this drama for people who likes a very emotional drama despite the cliches. Let me just say the main dude is kinda good looking sooooooo go watch it ^^
P.S. I agree which the last review that some episodes are dragged out so be prepared for that......

It just plainly sucked.. period.
Okay, I had to stop at epi 13 and look it up in here. After she told Eliot she couldn't leave w/him because she was still in love w/Jasper even though she keeps telling him she will try to forgive him, I had to stop. Is this going to continue for another 9 episodes??? Do I want to keep looking at her half closed eyes and half opened mouth like a dumb kid who is being told something and they just don't get it. Huh? That's her face the whole time.. Huh? That and taking forever to reply to someone.. It's like she's thinking of the best way to say her line. Then I come in here and spoil myself and thank God I did. Lost memories? from both ? more car accidents? The fiance who doesn't understand she was dumped, who at the end I she was forgiven ( and the cousin too?) The moment the FL kept calling her sis, I knew this lady was going to do so much damage and she was going to take it all..I don't like it when the writers make the women soooooo dumb. You know what I got from this drama? If you're feeling bad.. kill yourself. Maybe a horrible God will give you a chance to come back and redeem yourself.
When I read the story of her going back in time, I thought it was good idea so that we can again see how their lives meet and all that jazz. Bet she's going to try and prevent his death.. or something like that. WTH was this??
