There is not much out on this drama right now but I definitely thought it was worth mentioning! 2016 Thai Drama U Princes Series: The Handsome Cowboy almost sounds like a tacky romance novel title and it really does live up to its name. Kasetsin Puttichai plays a very easy-on-the-eyes male lead as character P’Sibtis. Female lead Prikkang (played by Supreleela Esther) is a feisty, sassy girl who compliments him quite sweetly with her cute girl next door style.

The two were childhood friends in the countryside but they lost contact after she moved away.

When they re-encounter each other at a Party Event they do not immediately recognize each other. P’Sibtis is known to his friends as a total player! His friends cast bets that he won't be able to pick up the cute DJ PK (which is her alter ego and side hobby.) He approaches her with a huge ego and heaps of confidence in order to get her attention...but Prikkang is not impressed with him at all.

She immediately rebuffs him and cannot stand his personality. Determined not to let this girl tarnish his reputation, he still attempts to win her over.

Despite realizing who he was, Prikkang still avoids him after having encountered his lame playboy moves. She ignores him as best she can. He, however, finally realizes who she is and his heart is stirred by the girl who captured his attention as a young boy. His feelings finally resurface for her. On the other hand, to her, P’Sibtis is nothing like the boy she remembers and her first impression of him as young adults was not a good one.

Soon after, P’Sibtis goes to her house and meets her father again. He convinces her father that she should come work at his parents Farm Estate, to which her father agrees.

She protests heavily but it’s been decided and the two set out for the countryside.

While at the farm, he orders her around with various jobs and also condemns her to a 5am wake up call. He is also in a constant state of making a move. Could this be too cheesy! Haha maybe! But if you’re looking for romance smothered moments you might really enjoy this one. He also loves to tease her endlessly!

He is always trying to lay down a kiss whenever he gets close enough...

Even when she's hiding out trying to rest...*I really like this through the closed window kiss!

There are loads, maybe even a cinematic overload, of drama eye candy moments between the two. The use of natural lighting is very pretty. A lot of thanks goes to the director of photography for setting the moods and scene compositions so beautifully.

No, no we can't!

Things suddenly take a dramatic turn when P'Sibtis' supposed girlfriend shows up at the same time as the second male lead known as Key. And P'Sibtis shows a little jealousy over the friendship between the kind Key and Prikkang.

Will these two be able to overcome their differences to become real friends again?

And will P’Sibtis be able to genuinely win Prikkang’s heart?

I hope you’ll join in and let me know what you think! Is this drama cheesy or cute!
