Ahn Jae Hyun is officially returning to the K-drama scene with a new KBS weekend series!
On December 22nd, media outlet Star News revealed that Ahn Jae Hyun will be the main character of the upcoming KBS weekend K-drama "The Real Deal Has Come!" According to reports, he has been chosen as the replacement for Kwak Shi Yang who recently announced that he will no longer participate in the upcoming K-drama due to schedule conflicts.
Ahn Jae Hyun's agency HB Entertainment then confirmed that Ahn Jae Hyun has been cast in the upcoming romance K-drama.
"The Real Deal Has Come!" will be about the chaotic growth of a family through a fake contract romance between a single mother and a single man who does not want to get married.
The upcoming series will be directed by Han Joon Seo and written by Jo Jung Joo.
Ahn Jae Hyun will be working with Baek Jin Hee, Kim Sa Kwon, Cha Hwa Yun, Choi Dae Chul, and Cha Joo Young.
In the upcoming series, Ahn Jae Hyun will give life to the character named Gong Tae Kyung. He is an expert obstetrics and gynecology infertility clinic specialist. He is known for being handsome and having great genes. He will then meet a single mother and will have an encounter that will make a change in his life.
"The Real Deal Has Come!" will premiere in the first half of 2023 and it will have a total of 50 episodes. The series will exclusively air on KBS.
"The Real Deal Has Come!" will be Ahn Jae Hyun's grand return to the drama scene. He last appeared in a k-drama four years ago. He led the 2019 k-drama "Love with Flaws" with Oh Yeon Seo, Kim Seul Gi, Gu Won, Heo Jung Min, and the late Cha In Ha.
Ahn Jae Hyun is known for being part of the K-dramas "The Beauty Inside," "Reunited Worlds," "Cinderella and the Four Knights," "Blood," "You're All Surrounded," and "My Love from the Star."
