He debuted in 2017 as a singer and debuted as an actor in the short film "You, Deep In My Heart". He gained popularity after appearing in the web series "Miss Independent Jieun 2". At the same time, Fantagio (판타지오) decided to form a group made up entirely of actors who were able to sing. So, he joined SURPRISE U and made his singing debut in July 2017 with the single "I Do".
On December 3, 2019, he was found dead (at the age of 27) by his manager at his home. The exact cause of death has never been revealed.
