Bae In Hyuk will reportedly be the male lead of Lee Se Young in the upcoming K-drama "The Story of Park's Marriage Contract."
On February 8, media outlet JTBC News revealed that Bae In Hyuk will be joining Lee Se Young in the upcoming MBC series "The Story of Park's Marriage Contract."
Bae In Hyuk's agency Fides Spatium responded to the reports. According to them, the actor is officially confirmed to join the upcoming series.
This will be the first project of Bae In Hyuk for 2023. Last year, the actor became busy with three drama series. He was part of the series "Why Her?," "Cheer Up," and "Under the Queen's Umbrella."
This upcoming K-drama will be his second time being the main lead of a broadcast network series. In the past, Bae In Hyuk has been portraying roles as the second lead.
Bae In Hyuk made his acting debut in 2019. Despite his debuting only a few years, he has already starred in several K-dramas such as "XX," "To All The Guys Who Loved Me," "The Spies Who Loved Me," "My Roommate Is a Gumiho," "At a Distance, Spring Is Green," and more. Many are already anticipating the next move of the actor to continue the momentum of his career.
"The Story of Park's Marriage Contract" will tell the story of Park Yeon Woo from the mid-19th century. On the day of her marriage, her husband dies and she suddenly became a widow. Before she even gets to mourn her husband's death, she finds herself in modern-day Korea 200 years later and will struggle to go back to the Joseon era. The upcoming K-drama will base its story on the webtoon of the same name written by Angelique and Kim Neo Ul, and illustrated by Dotda.
Bae In Hyuk will reportedly work alongside Lee Se Young. Lee Se Young first got the offer to lead the series and she is still reviewing the offer. Meanwhile, Bae In Hyuk will surely be part of the upcoming series.
