Channel A dropped stills from Check in Hanyang, featuring The Story of Park's Marriage Contract actor Bae In Hyuk.

Stills showcasing Bae In Hyuk's starkly contrasting charms in his dual roles as the king's son and an intern have been unveiled.

Check in Hanyang revolves around Yongcheonru, the largest guesthouse in Joseon, which operates under the motto "The guest is king," and it follows the young interns — Lee Eun Ho (Bae In Hyuk), Hong Deok Su (Kim Ji Eun), Chun Jun Hwa (Jung Gun Joo), and Go Soo Ra (Park Jae Chan) — who begin to work there for their own personal reasons.

In the K-drama, Bae In Hyuk takes on the role of Moo Yeong Gun Lee Eun, the king's son. While he stands at the pinnacle of power in the nation, he hides his identity and enters Yongcheonru under the name Lee Eun Ho. The reasons behind his decision to conceal his true identity and join Yongcheonru remain a mystery. It remains to be seen whether he, who once lived a luxurious life as a royal, can adapt to the life of an intern at a guesthouse.

Check in Hanyang's new stills showcase the starkly contrasting charms of Moo Yeong Gun Lee Eun and Lee Eun Ho, highlighting the difference between his regal presence as the king's son in the palace and his new life as an intern at Yongcheonru.

Moo Yeong Gun Lee Eun's stills betray his commanding charisma. Born of royal blood, Lee Eun lives in a palace rife with relentless power struggles, where, to survive, one must always keep his guard up.

In contrast, the next still shows Lee Eun after he has concealed his royal identity and entered Yongcheonru under the name Lee Eun Ho. Amid the commotion caused by his fellow interns changing clothes, Lee Eun Ho stands alone. Unlike the stoic and composed Lee Eun, Lee Eun Ho's face betrays the confusion he's experiencing.

The final still captures Lee Eun Ho trying his hand at sewing while observing the people around him. As the king's son, this is undoubtedly his first experience with such a task. His struggle to adapt to life at Yongcheonru evokes laughter.

The production team of Check in Hanyang commented, "Bae In Hyuk perfectly portrays the contrasting personalities of Moo Yeong Gun Lee Eun and intern Lee Eun Ho, increasing the drama's factor to immerse [viewers]. His detailed acting, evident even in the stills, will come across even more powerfully in the broadcast. Moo Yeong Gun's power struggles in the palace and Lee Eun Ho's journey of adapting to [life] at Yongcheonru will bring diverse entertainment, so please look forward to it."

Check in Hanyang will premiere on December 21. The K-drama will be available to stream on Viki.
