"Miss Night and Day" Achieves New Personal Best in Ratings + Ranks on Netflix's Top 10 List
Actors Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Min Ho, BLACKPINK's Ji Soo, and Nana have received offers to star in the K-movie Omniscient Reader (working title).
YG Entertainment responded to the reports, stating, "BLACKPINK's Jisoo received an offer [to star in] Omniscient Reader and is reviewing [the offer] positively".
Based on the web novel of the same name, Omniscient Reader tells the story of Kim Dok Ja, a man trying to save his world that has suddenly changed to match the contents of the novel he was reading. The K-movie is adapted from a web novel of the same name.
Ahn Hyo Seop has been offered to play Kim Dok Ja. Omniscient Reader will mark the actor's debut in the film industry.
Lee Min Ho has been offered the role of Yoo Jung Hyuk, the protagonist of the novel that Dok Ja read.
Yoo Jung Hyuk is a character who can return to life even after death, an ability that instills in him a strong sense of responsibility to save the world. But the endless repetition of life and death has turned him cold-hearted.
BLACKPINK's Ji Soo has been offered the role of the character Lee Ji Hye, who, as per the webtoon, works with Kim Dok Ja’s company. Nana has been offered to play Jung Hee Won, a strong woman with an unwavering sense of justice.
Actors Chae Soo Bin, Shin Seung Ho, Jung Sung Il, and Park Ho San have also received offers to join Omniscient Reader.
Chae Soo Bin has been offered to play Yoo Sang Ah, Kim Dok Ja's colleague who embarks on the journey alongside him. Shin Seung Ho has been offered the role of Lee Hyun Sung, a former soldier.
