Byun Woo Seok is in discussion to join the upcoming drama that Yoo Seung Ho and Girls Day Lee Hye Ri are also in talks for. 

On April 22, several news report circulated that actor Byun Woo Seok will be included in the upcoming KBS historical drama "When Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon". Yoo Seung Ho, Girls Day Lee Hye Ri, Kang Mi Na also received casting offers and are currently reviewing it.

Byun Woo Seok's agency VARO responded to the reports and shared that the actor is positively considering the drama and casting offer. 

"When Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon"  is set in the Joseon period and the story will be depicted from three individuals with different backgrounds who will share hidden secrets with each other. The upcoming KBS drama will be directed by 2019's "Doctor Prisoner" PD, Hwang In Hyuk and scriptwriter Kim Joo Hee will create the story.

Byun Woo Seok debuted in 2016 with the drama "Dear My Friends". He also participated in dramas such as "Live Up to Your Name", "Office Watch 3", "Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency", and more. He last starred in the 2020 tvN drama "Record of Youth" with main leads Park Bo Gum and Park So Dam. If he accepts the offer to be part of the drama ""When Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon", this will be his second time to be included in the main cast of a historical drama.

Aside from dramas, Byun Woo Seok will also join the upcoming movie "Soul Mate" with Kim Da Mi and Jeon So Nee.

"When Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon" is scheduled to air on KBS2 in the second half of this year.
