Chun Woo Hee will possibly return to the small screen after three years!

On February 10th drama insiders shared that Chun Woo Hee will be the main lead of the upcoming drama "Beneficial Fraud (literal title)."

Chun Woo Hee's agency H& Entertainment shared their side and stated that the actress did receive the offer to star in the new tvN drama. They also revealed that the actress is still reviewing the casting offer and nothing has been decided yet. 

"Beneficial Fraud (literal title)" is a script that won the Studio Dragon 2nd Drama Script Competition. It is the work of writer Jo Seul Ah. The script took first place after competing with a ratio of 133 to 1. The upcoming series will be directed by Lee Soo Hyun who also helmed "The Witch's Diner," "Awaken," and "Find Me in Your Memory." He will also be the director of the soon-to-air series "Shooting Star." 

There are no other details that have been revealed regarding the plot, casting, broadcast date, and more about "Beneficial Fraud."


If Chun Woo Hee confirms her casting for "Beneficial Fraud," this will be her comeback to the small screen since 2019. She last starred in the hit drama "Be Melodramatic" with Jeon Yeo Been, Han Ji Eun, Ahn Jae Hong, Gong Myung, Lee Joo Bin, and more. 

She was also part of several dramas such as "Argon," "Prominent Woman," "Vampire Idol," and "The Woman Who Still Wants to Marry." 

Last year, Chun Woo Hee was part of the film "Waiting For Rain" with Kang Ha Neul. She is set to join the upcoming movies "Stolen Identity," "I Want to Know Your Parents," and "Anchor." 

Chun Woo Hee made her acting debut in 2004. She made her name known after showing an excellent performance in the 2011 hit movie "Sunny." Since then, the actress has been active in the movie scene.
