The postponed youth romance K-drama Dear.M will reportedly premiere within the year.

On January 25, media outlets stated that Dear.M will finally air on KBS this year. According to reports, the K-drama will begin airing after Love Song for Illusion concludes.

KBS then responded to the reports. According to a representative of the broadcast station, "We are currently discussing various aspects regarding the airing of Dear.M. Nothing has been officially decided. There is no confirmation yet."

Dear.M was scheduled to premiere back in February 2021. The K-drama was then postponed indefinitely due to the allegations of school bullying surrounding the main lead Park Hye Soo. In 2022, the K-drama was released in Japan through U-NEXT and ViKi streaming platforms. The series received a lot of love from International fans and entered the top 10 of the ViKi chart.

Three years later, there is a possibility that Dear.M will finally be seen by the local audiences.

Dear.M is a youth romance K-drama that is led by Park Hye Soo and NCT's Jeong Jae Hyun,  Roh Jeong Eui, Bae Hyun Sung, UP10TION's Lee Jin Hyuk, and Woo Da Vi.

It tells the story of four students from Seoyeon University. A mysterious post by someone named "M" on the student forum shocked the entire school. Four students embark on a journey to uncover the identity of "M," leading to unexpected friendships and romantic entanglements along the way.

The K-drama was created by directors Park Jin Woo (To. Jenny and Poetry Story) and Seo Joo Wan (Welcome to Wedding Hell and Love Revolution). The script was created by Lee Seul who is the author of the four seasons of Love Playlist

If Dear.M is confirmed to air on KBS, it will be part of the Monday and Tuesday K-drama timeslot of the broadcast station.
