Disney+ is set to release the K-movie The Witch: Part 2. The Other One on the same day it's new K-drama, The Tyrant, which shares the same cinematic universe, is premiering.
The Witch: Part 2. The Other One picks up from where The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion left off, with the disappearance of Ko Ja Yun (Kim Da Mi).
The story unfolds with a girl (Shin Shi Ah), who survives alone in a secret research facility called Ark, which has been devastated by someone. As various forces try to track her down, the hidden origins of the "Witch Project" are revealed.
Apart from Shin Shi Ah, the film also stars Park Eun Bin, Seo Eun Soo, Jin Goo, Sung Yoo Bin, and Jo Min Soo. Viewers can also catch Lee Jong Suk, Kim Da Mi, and Uhm Tae Goo in guest appearances.
The Tyrant, originally planned to be produced as a film, is a sci-fi action drama about people who gather for different purposes chasing each other after the last sample of the Tyrant Program disappears in an accident. The K-drama stars Cha Seung Won, Kim Seon Ho, Jo Yoon Soo, and Kim Kang Woo in lead roles.
