“The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” Issues Apology after Viewers Point Out the DUI Scene
EXID's Park Jeong Hwa has officially chosen her next K-drama project.
It was confirmed on August 17th that Park Jeong Hwa will be joining the soon to air Netflix original K-drama Mask Girl.
Park Jeong Hwa will be working with Go Hyun Jung, After School's Nana, Ahn Jae Hong, Yeom Hye Ran, Choi Daniel, and Kim Ga Hee.
Mask Girl is set to premiere on August 18th exclusively on the global OTT platform, Netflix.
The upcoming K-drama will tell the story of Kim Mo Mi who lives a double life. In the morning, she is an ordinary officer worker with inferiority complex. At night, she works as an Internet broadcast BJ hiding under a mask. She will get caught up in an incident while she hides her identity. The upcoming series will base its story from the webtoon of the same name written by Maemi and illustrated by Hee Se.
Park Jeong Hwa will play the role of Lee Ah Reum. She is admired by main character Kim Mo Mi and the other female employees. She is known for her outstanding beauty in the office.
Mask Girl will be helmed by Kim Yong Hoon, the same director of the films Beasts Clawing at Straws and Yoon Hee.
This will be the first K-drama of Park Jeong Hwa in two years. She was last seen in the hit 2021 K-drama One the Woman. She worked alongside Lee Ha Nee, Lee Sang Yoon, Lee Won Keun, Jin Seo Yun, Song Won Seok, and Jeon Gook Hwan.
Last year, Park Jeong Hwa made a special appearance in the K-drama The Interest of Love led by Yoo Yeon Seok, Mun Ka Young, Geum Sae Rok, Jung Ga Ram, Moon Tae Yu, and Oh Dong Min.
Park Jeong Hwa is also set to return to the big screen to the upcoming film Handsome Guys led by Lee Sung Min, Lee Hee Joon, Gong Seung Yeon, Lee Kyu Hyung, and Park Ji Hwan.
