Girls' Generation's Kwon Yuri is confirmed to make a special appearance in the SBS drama "Racket Boys"

Reports circulated on July 13th that Kwon Yuri will be part of the last episode of the SBS drama "Racket Boys." She will make a special appearance in support of director Jo Young Kwang who she worked with on the drama "Defendant." 

A representative of the Monday-Tuesday drama confirmed the news, stating that Kwon Yuri will be present in the last episode. They also asked viewers to check the details and Kwon Yuri's role in the drama. 

"Racket Boys" narrates the story of a boys' badminton team at a middle school in Haenam as they compete in a junior athletic competition. It also showcases the learnings and growth of 16-year-old boys and girls in Haenam during this time. The drama is directed by Jo Young Kwang and written by Jung Bo Hoon

The drama is currently in the final stages of filming. Due to the surge of COVID-19 in Korea and the upcoming Olympics broadcast, "Racket Boys" will air the rest of the episodes once a week. Episode 13 airs this week, then episode 14 will be out next week. The final episode will air on July 27. 

Some of the actors that also made a special appearance in the drama are Winner's Kang Seung Yoon, Park Ho San, Kim Min Seok, Lee Si Eon, Kim Sung Chul, Park Hae Soo, and more. 

Kwon Yu Ri was the main lead of the recently ended hit drama "Bossam: Steal the Fate" with Jung Il Woo, Shin Hyun Soo, Kim Tae Woo, Lee Jae Yong, and Ko Dong Ha. The idol-actress is currently active in her solo show titled "Yuri's Winning Recipe 2" airing on Lifetime.
